Very central but very quiet, walking distance to almost all historic buildings around Valleta. Walking distance to the fast ferry going to Gozo (10min) walking distance to central bus station. Right in front of the historic Merkanti (market). Super service! Super friendly personnel. Beautiful rooms. The best hotel and not overpriced! Breakfast and snacks are both for free. Even the beer is free. 3 minutes walk to the laundry machine if you have a few days. We will stay in the same hotel every time we visit Malta, which we will do once a year from now on!

There is nothing to criticize!

This hotel is on a perfect location in Valletta, all the sightseeing are very close from here, furthermore the bus stop is close too. The room were very quite, although it is next to a very busy walking street. You can spend here 1 week and eat very good dishes in several restaurats in 5 miniutes from the hotel. It was really good that you can try on the rooftop of the hotel the local foods for breakfast.

The breakfast was really good, but after the second time it was a bit borring. There are several location close to the hotel were can you different foods. We were there there in May, and the rooftop area was closed after the breakfast, and there was no possibility to spend there few hours in the afternoon or at night.

The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. They explained all of the features of the room and about breakfast. Nice elevator. When we left for the airport our shuttle driver did not get the information of where we we were waiting and called the hotel. The hotel staff came out to the street to tell us that he gave the driver our location as the hotel is on a pedestrian only street. The complementary mini bar was nice after a long hot day out sightseeing Gozo. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

The air-conditioning made a rattling sound every time it came on. To use the hairdryer you needed to either plug it in by desk or bed and lean way over one way to see the mirror, no plug for it by the sink. BTW there are about five stairs, no handrail, to the rooftop terrace for breakfast . Just a word of caution for those that might be mobility challenged.

Breakfast on the terrace was really nice. Great choice of dishes. Staff were so friendly, polite & helpful. Also the complimentary buffet on the terrace every day at 5.30pm was a lovely idea, really appreciated. The location of the hotel was perfect.

When we come again, which we will, we would book a room with an outside aspect rather than the inner courtyard view, that would be the only thing we would change. We would rather have had an outside view. We had a look at one of the front facing rooms during our stay so we would definitely go for that next time. We can't fault the hotel otherwise, it was a lovely relaxing holiday.

The hotel is very well situated, right in the middle of Valetta. We had a room with the balcony, at the fourth floor, towards the square and the market. Nice atmosphere and view, friendly staff, good room size and air conditioning.

The room is very nice and also the entire hotel, but the staff at the reception desk is not very helpful when asking information about places to visit on the island. The terrace where breakfast is served is very hot in the morning and unfortunately they have outdated umbrellas which do not get opened.

The location is perfect, it's in the middle of Valletta, less than 10 mins walk from the bus station, close to all Valletta attractions. There are many places to eat and drink around, there's also a shop across the street and food market. On arrival we received a very warm welcome and were led to our room. The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean. If you're staying for longer than one night, there's dinner menu. Both dinner and breakfast menus are mostly local Maltese foods, tasty and healthy. All staff very very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again as some of the museums were closed due to refurbishments, so we are going back to Malta.

There was no such thing....

Beautiful building and location in the heart of Valletta. The decor and facilities in the room were luxurious and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

We would have prefered to have been able to select separate choices from the breakfast menu for the two of us - the instructions were to select one option from the list, and it had to be delivered to the room. There was limited space to eat the breakfast in the room, so one of us had to eat off our lap on the bed.

The location was Amazing. Right in the middle of many restaurants and walking distance to everything I wanted to do and see in Valletta and beyond. Easy to get to the boats and ferries also. The breakfast was traditional Maltese but all the food choices were explained to everyone. Many many choices so all tastes could be accommodated. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the shower was terrific. A lounge in the room made reading a pleasure instead of having to sit on a bed or a hard chair. The best thing was the staff. Kind and friendly and so very helpful. From helping me get money back from a local tour company, to aiding when my phone would not work in Malta, to getting a Bolt to the airport, to making dinner reservations because the restaurant I wanted would not accept for one person.

Leaving

We were not fans of the Maltese Coffee, but by the end of our stay we looked forward to the coffee every morning. The very friendly staff always made our days. My wife an I watched the hotel being built from the Star/Bus Stop. Would like to mention Joe from reception and apologies for causing a problem with the safe. Food was very good makes a welcome change from an English breakfast.

Our shower basin filled with water every time so we had to watch the water didn't spill over the floor. Lack of storage was an issue but having been to the property last year we came prepared.

Great location in the city center with super friendly staff, big room with comfortable bed, super clean, with a mini dressing room equipped with ironing board, iron, hairdryer. The hotel is in the pedestrian zone, you have a coffee place, the food market, terraces and restaurant near. We arrived after the the reception schedule and we could do the self check in, the hotel provide us all the codes we needed to enter and in the next morning we did the formalities at the reception. The breakfast is served on the roof, with traditional dishes, all fresh and tasty. The staff explained all the dishes, ingredients, where we can find cutlery, glasses, everything, and all in a dreamy place with great views over Valletta. We travelled in May and the weather was great, by night a little bit chilly. We had a great city break!
