Very cozy hotel, right in the center. It should be noted that the streets are narrow and if you rent a car, parking will be difficult. But we used the services of a taxi, which was very convenient - arriving both to the airport and later on excursions. Breakfast is delicious. All this can be enjoyed on the beautiful roof terrace, admiring the beautiful landscape. The landlady is very nice and accommodating - we arrived very early, but she hurried to clean the room after the previous customer, so that we can settle in the room faster. There is an elevator.

Since we arrived at the end of November, it initially seemed that the room would be cold and damp, because when we arrived, the room had just been washed and the air seemed humid, but it was wrong - we turned on the heater and the room warmed up very quickly. We were a little disappointed by the fact that we really wanted to use the jacuzzi, which is beautifully visible in the pictures, for one evening - we reserved a time for ourselves, but we did not manage to use it, because the water was not warm enough - max 28 degrees, but outside at the end of November the air was quite chilly and the water at such a temperature did not encourage us to enjoy the jacuzzi .

Superb location - as close to the heart of the city without being there - within 10mins you can reach the main bus station near the city entrance, parliament buildings, St John's Co-Cathedral, fast ferry port to Gozo and other central sights. Coffee shops, bars and restaurants outside and around the corner. Breakfast patio with fantastic view of the harbour (excellent croissants). Room with balcony overlooking St Pawl's street - great view of the typical enclosed balconies found in Malta. Staff lovely to talk to and supportive. We will definitely stay there again

Proximity to local bars can make it a bit noisy

Our whole experience at Tano’s was first class. On request Noemi arranged transport from the airport for us. On our arrival Dennis was at reception, he was welcoming and engaging. A very good start to our visit! Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, very clean, enjoyed the traditional design and colours. Breakfast was excellent with both European and North American breakfast foods offered in a buffet style - fruits, sliced cheese & meats, croissants, raisin brand cereal, eggs, yoghurt, and more. Breakfast on the rooftop patio, views of the harbour. The host for the day also prepared the buffet, greeted guests and served cappuccino and other specialty coffees. An historical building with the requisite staircases if you might enjoy the exercise but also has a lift! Super location, laundromat across the street but more importantly steps away from the heart of Valletta while seemingly not being there! Particularly pleased with the cheerfulness of the staff and their willingness to be helpful. Special acknowledgment to Dennis for his graciousness and humour throughout our week long stay.

Malta, Valletta, Tano's Boutique Guesthouse is a miracle. We stayed 4 nights at the guesthouse, a cosy family run guesthouse in the centre of the city. Clean, comfortable, well-equipped rooms. Kettle, capsule coffee machine, freshly made every day. Hair dryer, fresh towels. Rooftop terrace with indoor/outdoor breakfast area overlooking the sea, plenty to choose from. Sliced cheese, butter, boiled eggs, vegetables, fruit. Coffee, tea, juices. Biscuits, honey, fresh pastries, bread, croissants, muffins, milk, oatmeal, yoghurt. .... The staff are very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Zsuzsa from Hungary who gave us lots of useful advice. Central location, restaurants and cafes close by. In November we had almost summer weather. We had a wonderful 5 days full of experiences. 🥰

I really enjoyed everything

Situated right in the heart of everything, this hotel provided everything we needed. A 10 minute leisurely walk from the ferry port and a 5 minute walk to the bars and restaurants, Triton Fountain and the Saluting Battery for the cannon fire at noon. The owner was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was served overlooking Valletta harbour. We took the opportunity to book the jacuzzi on the top floor and were glad we did as we witnessed two cruise liners edging their way out of the harbour to open sea. Leaving the property after our 2 night stay was seamless with the bus station only 10 minutes away on foot.

We liked everything.

Its very central, everything to visit is only few minutes away. (Just be aware that because the place is central, during summer, you will hear the parties, people, church bells and fireworks day and night.) The place Is clean, spacious, staff is really nice and breakfast options although quite limited, is very good quality. Croissants with pistacchio the best!! Also the capuccino! They let us check out late for an extra charge and that was wonderful for us. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic and the bath is so big. We loved it.

I dont think its fair to advertise the jacuzzi with a night picture, because the latest hour you can use the jacuzzi is 7 o'clock, when its still hot outside and day light. The breakfast is wonderful but if you come after 9am, there isnt much left and you have to wait 15 min for other things to be replenished, like juice, milk, eggs, croissants, but if you ask the staff, they provide it to you on demand.

Beautiful room, brilliant breakfasts - fresh delicious pistachio, chocolate or plain croissants and cake ( one happy child and mum) plus much more savoury choice. The room was beautiful with high ceilings, an enormous bed and a huge bathroom. We had an extra bed in ours but there was still room for an enormous sofa. The staff were lovely, especially Grace who was very welcoming and gave us answers to everything we needed. It was truly a lovely stay. Lots of history to the building and stone spiral staircase to breakfast too. Loft up to all floors.apart from roof. The jacuzzi on the roof was bookable for free for a one hour slot and was superb and a great place to see the harbour. (Photo taken from breakfast room level) Gorgeous stay in all.

Nothing much. If you are a light sleeper staying on a Saturday night in the summer then the street close by was a little noisy, so perhaps ask for a back room if they have one.

Property was perfect for our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection was good and always fresh, being able to eat outside on the terrace, taking in the views if the harbour was breathtaking. The property is very close to the centre of Valletta and all that the wonderful city had to offer. Very helpful in booking airport transfers both ways. I would definitely recommend a stay here and would hope to return in the future.

Amazing location, a few minutes from the upper and.lower gardens and less.than 10 minutes from the buses to take you to the North of the Island. In the other direction it was 5 minutes to places to eat, ice cream and again less than 10 minutes to the food court and supermarket. Rooms were big enough and we had 3 in the room. It was clean, breakfast was lovely and the terrace was a lovely way to start the day. An hour's use of the jacuzzi each day was a really nice thing to do either to begin or finish your day. Staff were helpful and friendly

Being fussy the pillow was really hard and only 1 each, but we could have asked for more.
