barcloses too early. they don’t give coffee or water or tea as gratuity. limited items for the breakfast when included. food could be better for being 5 star hotel.

The room is top notch technology.

We got to the hotel an hour earlier to check in because we were there for medical reasons and needed to rest. The front desk literally made us wait until 3pm to check in. Mind you the whole time I was standing around in pain and uncomfortable right in front of them. People kept coming in after us and would go right up to their room.

modern looking room, great breakfast and great location. The location of the building also has restaurants outside the hotel, serving great food.

That when we arrived, our room was given to someone else, 15 to 20 mins later they were able to get us into another room. They made it up by giving us free parking. Once in the room, we asked the room/maid service for another bath towel because the room only have two towels and there was three of us. The towel was never delivered, I had to ask a second time the next day.

I liked that all needed stores and restaurants were walking distance. Not just the restaurants in the plaza, but the restaurant Boka in the hotel has delicious options to choose from! Not to mention the bar that's also downstairs by the lobby. They have so many other amenities to offer that I have yet to experience.

I have no complaints about the hotel, and I have yet to stay there and experience the spa, pool, and garden.

all amenities are first class including the pool and jacuzzi areas with pool side bar. House restaurant has fine food and bar. the rooms are unique with full wall windows with vanity shades. The room AC is excellent. The hotel is well appointed and stylish. the adjoining food and bar court is upscale. The hotel offers a courtesy van. The hotel is located near San Ysidro entry port.

The hotel room rate is on the higher end and a $100 deposit is required.

Breakfast was simple (for what's included), although you can upgrade for a charge. The room was nice, modern, clean and comfortable. The choices of resturantes in the hotel food court is amazing! (best part of the stay and probably the main reason we always stay at this hotel). Also, it's 2 mins aways from the Sentry entry - great location!

Bed was super soft (uncomfortable), pillows are over stuffed/huge, bends the neck. The street outside is noisey and the taco resturant across the street played music incredibly loud until about 1 am.

Everyone was extremely nice, hotel was immaculate. I wasn't too sure about the food court and how it worked but they helped us out and it was great, so many items to choose from all the different vendors. I had the rib eye and it was absolutely delicious. Great value. We had their complimentary breakfast and that was good too. I asked for sausage instead of bacon with my eggs and was told they had Mexican sausage so I tried them, they were hotdogs! That's ok, the beans, eggs and dogs were good. We had no issues like what the news has been showing in Los Angeles, Police presence is high, so no issues what so ever. It was very relaxed down there. A big thanks to the staff at the Quartz! ***On another note, their fresh squeezed orange juice is fantastic, sweet, fragrant and not too acidic!****

The first day heading down was easy until I got into town. Foreigner, new area and country, anxiety was high! We got to our destination and took taxis that day, best tip since I can't walk to well. What I didn't like the fact we were leaving! It's a 2hr drive so we will be doing this again. Oh yeah, the 2nd day driving thru TJ wasn't as bad, the 1st day Google was a few steps behind causing late turn issues. I also didn't like the fact we didn't have time to enjoy the spa and get a massage!

The receptionist when we arrived was very professional. We arrived before checkin and they were able to hold our luggage. We liked all the nearby eating places. The executive lunch was a reasonable price. There was a party going on near the pool, and the noise level was barely even heard. There were double blinds to help block the sun out. Loved the infused water in the hallways.

The restaurant host that led us to our table wasn’t rude, but not friendly either. We were given breakfast coupons and he looked bothered. He didn’t refill my coffee or ask if we needed anything else. There was another man who was also our server and he was completely different, he even offered house salsa. The price was steep, as other hotels: Hilton, Hamilton Inn, and the Marriott are less than half the price and offer the same thing: free breakfast and pool. These places also had free parking and this location charges, even for self parking. Marriott has free valet parking.

The staff was friendly and the location was super convenient for the nature of my trip

When it rained, the water trickled down the glass windows (I think the window in the room above mine may have been open). The shower drain was a bit slow while the water was running, and I wish the bathroom door swung the other way.

We liked that it was modern that staff was friendly most of all our driver Rene Soto went above and beyond taking us to and from places. I loved that that they had place to get lip fillers $350 per syringe and they were extremely nice and professional. I will definitely go back.

That we didn’t know that the breakfast coupon doesn’t cover all items until you go to pay.
