The breakfast and the breakfast terrasse with the view were fantastic.

I arrived from the Danish Embassy with a Danish delegation to Jalisco. We arrived a bit early at the hotel and the reception said the delegations rooms were ready, but they should pay extra, to be able to get in to them a few hours before check-in time at the hotel. I believe that is extremely bad service. I could understand, if the rooms were not ready and had to be cleaned faster that you should pay extra, but rooms that are ready.........I have never tried that before and definitely not when everything is ready. That is in my opinion in extremely bad taste and not something I would expect at Doubletree.

Location mostly excellent. Restaurants close by. Shopping conveniently located. Beautiful square, churches close by.

The hotel is not on the street. It is located in the middle of the square and you can not drive right up. You must carry all your luggage from the taxi stop or a public parking garage. You can see the Hotel name up high on a building but finding the entrance was a little difficult. I had a lot of luggage and was alone. I walked around and around the square looking for entrance. It was marked by a small blue sign that was easily obscured by other things in the busy square. Many times I had to stop and put things down to look at my phone for directions. I ended up losing a valuable item in this process. Finally I had to stop at a nearby business and ask for help.

the room had a coffee maker but was not provided complimentary coffee. there was only one night stand so I had to place my things on the floor at night. the headboard was worn down, torn, and dirty. lastly the tv did not work upon my arrival. I mentioned to the front desk about the lack of a night stand and the non working tv. they said they would look into it but never did. the staff while not rude were not very approachable/friendly.

Amazing views from the balcony. very comfortable room and bed. My room felt a bit small but it was fine, and also quiet. Rain shower was wonderful.

The location itself is a bit dangerous, people’s phones get stolen outside, etc. But that’s not the fault of the hotel and the hotel itself is very safe. Hold your phone right outside! Rooftop restaurant had awesome vibes but there is better food in Guadalajara.

We were first greeted by Viana Lopez, at the front desk who provided us with excellent service. She checked us in quickly, answering all of our questions, and provided us with options for tours. We took in two tours. The historic tour had an excellent English speaking tour guide, Axel, who taught us about the city's history and culture. We would highly recommend Axel. The breakfast is impressive with a large selection of gourmet options to choose from. The servers are professional, prompt, helpful, and friendly. The food is delicious and extremely healthy. As well you are able to order anything your heart desires. Hotel staff were also prompt and helpful. As well we were grateful for the quality and healthy line of shampoo, conditioner, and skin care products provided. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. Finally, the mattresses and pillows were quite comfortable. We will be returning to this hotel and our room with two queen sized beds.

We did not care for the modern art used in the decor especially considering this hotel is located in a Centro historic cultural region.

The staff was very nice and helpful. They were able to help me with all my needs like booking my excursion and getting me a taxi. The room was extremely clean and well-maintained. On my downtime I was able to watch free HBO movies. The breakfast was included in my room and it was not just a continental breakfast, but full breakfast buffet. It was in an excellent location in central historical area. Lots of shops and restaurants around. My view was of the courtyard in front of the church.

A pool

Location is great although there is no drop off at the front door, you have to walk around the building which is inconvenient. Rooms could do with a refresh but were clean. The front desk staff are polite but not very friendly. They do have a great bar with city views and the bar staff were very nice.

Breakfast is ok but you are paying for the view and for what they charge you can go around the corner and get a much better breakfast, same goes for the dinner menu. For what I paid I would say it's not the best value.

Great location. the room was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable.

it was very hard to find the entrance when driving. we went around twice and couldn’t find it. we had to park in a public parking and walk to the hotel and then the staff told us how to bring the car. There was also some noise throughout the night both nights we stayed.

The location was great! Close by to restaurants, historical buildings and entertainment. Staff was great and helpful. They helped us book a private tour to Tequila and Chapala. Upon arrivals we were greeted with warm cookies and a complimentary drink. Breakfast buffet was amazing. We had drinks on the 7th floor late at night and staff was courteous and professional. My family loved our stay!

1. The location was unbeatable. It’s right in the middle of Centro Histórica and close to countless shops, cafes and restaurants. 2. the check in was super fast and the staff were professional and friendly, including housekeeping staff. 3. While my booked room was facing inside, I requested a room with outside view. While it was facing a busy street, you hardly hear the traffic noise. 4. The bed and pillows were comfortable. it’s great that there is a beverage fridge and a coffee machine in the room. The bathroom was clean and well functioning with a steady flow of hot water. 5. The internet was reliable and I never had any connectivity issues.

1. The restaurant (Siete Piso) - I went there for dinner with a friend. The restaurant has a great view. Beyond that I was very disappointed with the service and food. While we were seated promptly, there wasn’t much of a welcome. The taste and presentation of food was average. The attention of the staff was poor. The staff never checked in on us and not even asked if we want dessert. So there was virtually no attention paid. So overall it wasn’t a good experience nor a good value for money.
