Beautiful historical building. Location only a few blocks away from main square. Staff was always willing and happy to assist with any requests. The shower is big and water hot with good water pressure. The towels-linens fresh and clean.

As noted by others the bathroom vanity is very small not enough room for toiletries even one person . Had breakfast and it wasn’t that great, not sure why others thought it was good. l would suggest the great coffee shop next door if you want a excellent cappuccino or espresso.

I loved it! It's our second time staying at this hotel, and we'll keep coming back to it. The staff goes out of their way to help us out. Alma is great and one of the receptionists from swing shift (shame on me, but I can't remember her name). Thank you for your service. The beds are super comfortable, and the cleanness of the room is outstanding 👏🏼 👏🏼 100% recommend!

I liked the historic aspect and the architecture of this beautiful building. Also, the concierge, Victor, was very friendly and helpful. He recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner and was so accommodating when we wanted to leave some bags after we checked out, so that we could sight see a while before leaving the city. The entire staff was wonderful.

Only the lack of a hair dryer and some Kleenex in the bathroom. Otherwise it was very good.

On premises restaurant serves good value breakfast. Staff were extraordinarily helpful and Victor was fluent in English. Beautiful restored historic building with atrium. Excellent value and location on pedestrian mall close to main square was great. La Chata and Casa Dolores are great authentic Mexican restaurant options within walking distance.

Location is excellent, a very short walk (a block?) back from the central cathedral. place is like a little oasis in Guadalajara central. And, when I went to get filtered water from the lobby I saw a hummingbird going from pot plant to pot plant on the second floor! Very clean and comfortable.

The location was close to everything. The price was excellent value for money. Shower was always hot. Wifi was great. We had an inner courtyard room so no street noise. The staff is 24/7 and helped arrange our airport tramsportation.

The rooms were not well ventalated so it took a while for the humidity to leave after showers, but the mini split has a dehumidifyer setting which really helps.

The hotel for being over 100 yrs old was beautiful and in great condition. Victor, the manager, was very kind and helpful in providing information about the city, food, tours, etc… The location was perfect with lots to see and many attractions are within walking distance. There is a subway/metro a block away so you can visit locations further out.

Wow, the building itself is magnificent. The location is just perfect. Right in the city center, literally a few minutes walk from everything worths to look at. The rooms are clean and simple, but that is what we were after : a quiet and comfy corner we can rest after exploring Guadalajara's beautiful sites. Personell was very helpful and kind, breakfast was very delicious. Great value for the price.

The vallet parking was a little awkward- but perhaps just the thought that they took our car about 5 blocks away. Didn't suffer from it tho, it was just a little unusual.

The hotel was very centrally located and within walkimg distance of a lot of attractions. The staff was very friendly. Despite the street noise, we could not hear a thing in our room. I would stay there again.

We couldn't open the window to let some fresh air in.

Our room in this beautiful 200 year old hotel was quiet while on a busy pedestrian street. Easy to go wander two different big plazas in downtown Guadalajara. The place is close to the Juarez subway entrance which allowed us to get around to different places in Guadalajara. The bed was comfy, the AC worked well, nice soft lighting, and the shower had great pressure with hot water!
