most gorgeous location i have every seen - grounds and buildings beautifully and obviously lovingly maintained my the long-time family owners. very private and safe, and just a 10 minute drive into a lovely town.

nothing, we liked it all! only thing future guests should be prepared for is no restaurant on site - but rooms have kitchens, coffee makers/filters, etc, so you can stop in the town you pass through on the way for breakfast supplies or whatever you need.

We loved our stay at Bungalows Lydia! The setting is supremely beautiful - if your idea of beauty is blue skies, crashing waves and your own close-to-private beach. Nature is on full display here, the property is quiet and beautifully landscaped and owner Lydia is welcoming and helpful.

If you plan on cooking in the very basic kitchen, be prepared - when I say basic, I mean BASIC. San Pancho is only a 10-minute drive away for meals, but you may have to get creative around feeding yourself. There's filtered water, a full-size fridge, a coffee maker, and a few great food shops in SP. What's not to love about a fridge stocked with fresh-squeezed juices, tortillas, eggs, refried beans and avocados?

Wonderful hospitality from Ms Lydia and her sister. The whole place is kept clean and in great shape. Best part was the amazing views and access to a pretty much private beach. Keep in mind that because of the location, a bug or two may make it in the room.

There was nothing we didn't like. Just a suggestion to have fruit and/or something like bread or granola available in the morning for guests, since there is no restaurant or store on site.

This place is out of the way but it is really amazing. Its down a beautiful jungle dirt road about 10 minutes from San Pancho (San Francisco.) The town is small, really nice, not too touristy with very good restaurants and good surf. The hotel itself is very well done, with good wifi and semi comfortable beds (they were firm which I like.) There isn't much there as they don't serve drinks or food but this wasnt a problem for us. We bought a bottle of tequila and different fruits from the San Pancho and made different flavored Margaritas in the little kitchen in the room. But I haven't gotten to the good part. The view was spectacular and I cant overstate that too much. If you are looking for an out of the way place with breathtaking views from every window, a place just to relax in the infinity pool or on your awesome balcony, a place to have 270deg ocean views from your bed, this is the place. Enjoy, we will definitely be coming back.

I would have liked food and drinks made for me, but as noted the restaurants were ten minutes away and very good and we made our own drinks in our kitchen. It was fun experimenting with the tropical fruits.

Beautiful location and view. Loved the large patio overlooking the sea.

Bathroom and kitchen facilities could use updating. Kitchen wasn't very clean. I re-washed all of the dishes before using.

The location out of town and with 2 beautiful beaches. The family that owns the property is wonderful - friendly, accommodating, relaxed.

Amazing location on a cliff overlooking the ocean, Lydia and the staff was very accommodating , offering to drive me to town and making me tea when my stomach was not feeling very well. Would love to come back here.

There was a barking dog in the morning that woke me up.

Lydia was so friendly and made us feel at home. The property is amazing and we will definitely be going again.

The doors to the rooms are hard to open.

The property is right on the beach. The views are incredible and the grounds are beautiful!
