lush rainforest grounds, modern style treehouse-like rooms with very nice bathrooms and lounging areas, the rooms blend right into the environment

getting up to some of the rooms is not for the faint of heart because it requires you to scale a narrow spiral staircase with your luggage - although, I'm sure the hosts would help you if needed

Casa Selva does not serve breakfast, which was fine with us. As for the location, we found it perfect: a bit removed from busy traffic, set among beautiful tropical trees and plants. And walking up the hills to the compound was welcome exercise. The cabins are well made, appointed and maintained. We found our studio unit a bit small, so changed to one with a separate sitting room. The pool was lovely and clean; all who helped us were friendly and gracious.

A minor issue was the weak WiFi signal, especially toward the rear of the property. As is often the case, being in a lower unit can mean noise overhead into the night. Though management advises guest to be respectful.

Loved all the greenery. It felt like you were in the middle of a jungle—the outdoor property was incredible. There were a few places to enjoy outside of the room, such as a picnic area, several hammocks and of course the lovely pool. Also our room was super, with floor to high ceiling windows that opened up to the gorgeous surroundings and that gave a spectacular view. Everything was clean and very comfortable—I could’ve spent all my time visiting Sayulita in that room!

Can not think of one thing.

The whole place was very tastefully designed with pristine gardens and lovely furnishings. The view over the garden and pool was fantastic to wake up to. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious with everything we needed.

We stayed for four nights but didn't have our toilet waste bin emptied in that time. There was also a slight smell of sewage.

Beautiful location, nice pool, surrounded by nature, quiet yet close enough to town.

Didn’t mind steep stairs and steep road to the property but should tell people in advance in case of mobility issues. Occasional smell of sewage.

Loved the location, setting, esthetics and staff.

However the rooms were not well appointed and very small. The kitchenette was very small- not well appointed and there is no room for clothes , toiletries - very small. Just not well suited for a longer stay like we booked( 10 days)

This stay was absolutely magical. We were immersed in the trees and felt like we were in a treehouse. The pool next to our room was beautiful, as was the rest of the property. Our room was so spacious with a separate living/kitchen and sleeping area!

Loved the concept of creating a more natural space and placing a focus on getting back to nature. Rooms/bungalows are well designed & well equipped. The rooms are inviting and there are outdoor spaces to use, i.e., hammocks, pool. Beach accessible.

On the day we left they started maintenance & some project in the morning. This disrupted the tranquility of the space.

fantastic location just a 10 minute walk into the town, nice and quite. beautiful treehouse apartments. amazing pool and overall relaxing experience. hardly anything there when we visited so felt like we had it all to ourself! will be back
