Beautiful property with extremely comfortable rooms. You're in town, but with the jungle surrounding you, it feels much more secluded. Quiet and peaceful place. Also loved that they had coffee pots and refrigerators in the rooms. Along with books to read and plenty of storage space.

I stayed in two separate rooms, one top floor, one bottom floor. Bottom floor room was noisy with the people above walking around (they did provide ear plugs in this room though). Also not as much natural light without palapa-style roof, but that's a personal preference.

Beach location great. Funky friendly beach restaurant right at our bungalo. Tahitian hut vibe was genuine and cool. Nice hammocks under the shade trees. Tons of birds in trees by our balcony. VERY rustic, with hippy vibe--you'd better be attracted to that.

Located right next to city sewer treatment plant. Really stank at certain times during the night and at a low level in the parking lot all the time. Ugh. Also cooking facilities barely qualified as that. Single hot plate, tiny sink, mini fridge, coffee maker, that's it.

tHIS IS OUR SECOND TIME STAYING HERE. tHEY SEEMED TO HAVE HAD SOME STORMS, AS THE BEACH WAS VERY ROCKY AND HAD GARBAGE ON IT. BUT IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT, WE WERE FINE WITH IT. oUR BED WAS COMFY BUT WE HAD KIDS WHO BOOKED 4 OTHER ROOMS AND THEY ALL SAID THE BEDS WERE HARD AND UNCOMFORTABLE. GREAT STAY FOR AN EXPERIENCE! BIGGEST COMPLAINT THEY COULD CONTROL IS THE MUSIC AT NIGHT AT THE RESTAURANT, IT'S EXTREMELY LOUD. SAD WHEN THERE ARE GREAT WAVES, WE WANTED TO LISTEN TO. wE WONDERED IF THEY TOOK A POLL OF THE PEOPLE AROUND US TO SEE IF THEY PREFERRED THE LOUD MUSIC, AS WE WERE THINKING NOT.

The location is perfect, right on the beach. The bungalow is very cozy and clean, and personnel is helpful and friendly. Walking distance to downtown Sayulita. We enjoyed massages in the massage salon at the hotel, also highly recommended. Very quiet at night. You can easily take a bus to get to the airport for 50 pesos. Excellent experience, we would like to come back again.

The only thing I can mention is that the sleeping pillows were not soft enough.

Loved the location in the jungle, and close to the beach. Loved the simple but comfortable room. Super clean. Would have loved the place if it wasn't for the continuous loud music from the beach bar.

Loud music in beach bar, one night until 12.30am. Music too loud in afternoon and evenings. Would be nicer to hear the birds, and the waves. What a shame for such a nice place. - One day strong smell of sewage throughout the property (sewage treatment plant next door).

We did not have breakfast at the hotel. We had coffee and a few cookies that they left for us. The woman in the office was very helpful and took great care of us. We even got a change of bedspread during our stay which was very festive. The beach restaurant helped us with our late night cocktails and opening our wine. The food was also good. It was great having the market right outside the entrance and also walking along the beach to reach town very nearby. They raked the sand around the grounds every day and it was a lovely jungle setting

The location is perfect, the rooms are comfortable and have excellent wifi. The restaurant has excellent food, drinks and the friendliest staff we've ever encountered. The beach is right outside your door.

Loved everything about the place! So much so that we left our place in San Pancho to spend our last night where we knew everything would be prefect because we had stayed at Junto al Rio at the beginning of our trip.

It is right at the beach. I don’t think you could have a better balance of being close to the lively town center (5 min walk) and having a quiet night’s sleep. With bungalows at the beach we had expected some sand and dirt, and we were suprised at how the staff kept our room and the whole complex remarkably clean and orderly.

We wouldn’t change anything, just be aware to bring mosquito repellant and book one of the rooms with AC for a summer trip to Sayulita.

The staff is absolutely amazing. The bungalows are tucked away so they seem extremely private and you wake up to hearing birds chirping the ocean waves. It is located in the perfect spot where it is extremely close to everything - yet feels like it is a little tucked away piece of paradise. I was sad to leave!

Leaving. But really this place was so amazing it was sad to go.

The location is great because it's on the beach and I came to surf. Veronica was incredibly helpful and anytime I had an issue she took care of it asap. I also fell in love with the hotel kitty😻

There was no TV. This was not a deal breaker because a lot of hotels don't have them.
