The room was beautiful with large glass doors and windows, small terrace with a view on the lagoon. The hotel has it's own entrance to the lagoon, beds, kanoe, it is possible to take a boat tour across the lagoon right from the hotel. The hotel had a small restaurant with a beautiful view on the lagoon. The hotel is located in a quite place, a bit far from the center. It's ideal to take the rest and enjoy nature.

There is some shortage of water. The facilities in the bathroom and bed linen were a bit old.

we had a long check in experience as our booking was incorrect due to a new booking system. no internet in the rooms - no tv etc… no electric for several hours. taxis can be difficult to get and it’s 30 minute walk which is easy to do in the day light. it is connected to the OXO hotel for pool, restaurant etc.. and the facilities are basic. Taxi or car necessary as nothing near and restaurant closes early.

The room was really nice and the bed was super comfy. It was also really nice having a balcony so we could sit out. The staff we so so welcoming and accommodating and gave us lots of good recommendations.

The shower in our room had very little water pressure. And the wifi was also really bad, which was more of an issue than usual as it rained the whole time we were there. The location isn’t ideal, again more of an issue because of the rain, but isn’t too far from town and a taxi isn’t very much.

Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly but made a mistake. We had booked a boat tour with her the evening beforehand but when we arrived for it the next morning she told us she had forgotten that is isn't possible as the lake has a rest day on the Wednesday. This was disappointing and would have been better if we had been told earlier.

The room although it has everything needed was very small for a fold out couch bed and king bed.. ok for a night. The location is ok if you have a car but otherwise a big far out front the town

it was close to the lake. had a small pool and a restaraunt. included breakfast every morning, they arrange a great boat tour

the road from 307 to property was horrible! spotty wifi , you had to drive (short) to town, coffee wasn’t available until 8am!

it’s felt luxurious and was great to have a jungly feeling yet very comfortable. Really enjoyed how spacious the room and balcony was. the staff was super accommodating and friendly and really go the extra mile. breakfast in the room overlooking the water was brilliant!

Wish there was a fridge in the room and a place where we could buy some drinks.

This little hidden gem is right on the Lake/Lagoon! It boasts a variety of room options, with a small pool and jacuzzi, access to the water, kayaks and paddle board.

Extremely helpful, very nice family and useful local information. The room was nice and clean and modern – everything works perfectly

Tasty breakfast served on the covered patio overlooking Laguna Bacalar. Access from the hotel to the laguna. Kayaks and paddle boards free for the guests.

only complaint Poor piping on the sink allowed bad smell to come up drain during the night
