Super friendly staff,great central location!The room was nice,spacious,with a balcony to dry your stuff.The bathroom was great as well,the only toilet is Mexico that actually worked properly. :)The rooftop area is a blessing:we cooked a few times,the kitchen is well equipped and its a nice place to have dinner.We had a pleasant stay in Palmita,would return anytime,thank you!

We couldnt sleep the first night as there are lots of clubs/bars around with banging music and the room was facing the main corner.After we got moved it got better,but still not quiet,no chance to use the balcony or sleep with open windows.Make sure you ask for a room facing the side street if you'd like to sleep.Their bike rental service is cheap and handy,but the bikes are not in the best condition,but thats maybe a general thing in Tulum,Im not sure.Dont plan big trips with them,but perfect for the beach and back.(For a bit higher price we got great bikes in Cozumel.)

La Palmita exceeded all my expectations and I gotta give them an A+! Very clean, friendly staff, excellent location and ammenities. It's very well managed and the rooms are very well designed and equipped. All beds come with privacy curtains, side shelves with electric outlets and reading lights, lockers are also equipped with outlets. There´s also a small fridge for common use in the rooms for small items. A/C is turned on starting a 8 pm which is good enough. There's light noise coming from the street as they are located right where everything happens but it doesn't really bother in my opinion. You can also use the swimming pool at one of there sister hotels at walking distance. I also loved the rooftop. And one last detail... you can always refill your water bottles for free. Conclusion: Cozy little place, clean, friendly staff, affordale and very well equipped!

the hostel was recently renovated, everything looks quite new. beds were comfortable and had a curtain which gives more privacy. lockers were available, you get the key for them and don't need your own locker. the bathrooms were spacious and always clean. the staff was super friendly and helpful. the location is very close to the main street but my room was facing the back of the building and I couldn't hear any street noises. the room had a huge window, lots of natural light! the only annoying thing was that the AC remote was not in the room and the staff would turn it on at 8pm and turn it off at 8am. we couldn't regulate it during the night and for the day they said if we need it we should let them know. (there was a fan on the ceiling tho) the room was big with lots of space!

Location is great:) very clean, but room, kind size bed, very friendly and helpful receptionist when we checked in at 2 pm. Every floor has different decorations:) the book from a little library was interesting:) I liked the wooden frog:) and top floor outdoor space is amazing:) thank you, I enjoyed the hotel alot. Also thank you for the water on a corridor

There's limited wifi in a lobby. After checking out, I had ty wait for my further travels, it was hard to connect to wifi to decide what to do for those hours.

the hotel and room were nicely presented and comfortable. the staff were super friendly and helpful (especially kari!). the location was great too - right in town and close to ADO bus station. we hired bicycles from the hotel and cycled to the beaches & tulum ruins. we didnt use the rooftop but we went up there once at night… but it would be very nice if you want relax or sunbathe! it was all perfect, we were very happy with our stay here for 3 nights. highly recommend! :)

Room was comfy and balcony was nice. The terrace on the rooftop was nice, we spent quite some time up there. The hammocks were nice to relax and get a bit more comfortable. We didn't realize there'd be a kitchen there either, but it was well-stocked and had everything we needed to cook throughout our stay. Location was fairly convenient right on the main road of town, about 10-15 minutes from the bus station. Colectivos were super easy to pick up for going to the ruins, Akumal, etc. just one block around the corner. We were also able to walk a few blocks down the road to their "sister" hotel and use the rooftop terrace & pool there (the terrace there was a bit nicer), which was an unexpected positive surprise. Bikes were available for a cost (we ended up not using them but good to have the option). We were able to borrow some snorkeling gear for free for the day as well.

Kitchen was pretty gross the first time we went up, but this is primarily on guests for not cleaning up after themselves. The second night we came up just after cleaning and it was spotless. The floor of the room had a weird stickiness/sliminess to it that we noticed when we were doing yoga and a small workout. The snorkeling gear for free was nice, but it was not in the best condition/a bit dirty. Wifi worked decently in the room and on the shared terrace, but it did not reach outside on our own balcony.

The staff is so helpful and friendly! Also it is clean, spacious and in good condition. The rooftop is really nice. There is plenty of stuff to rent for free or a small amount of money like beachtowels, bikes and snorcheling gear.

It is quite loud at night because of the big street and party music at night but with earplugs it is totally fine (or just go out to party yourself)

This place exceeded my expectations. We were only here for one night but it was very comfortable and a great value for the money. You are so close to all restaurants and things to do in Tulum (and right by all the best street food stands!). Big room with a nice patio. I was surprised by how big and comfortable the room was for what we paid. The staff was super helpful and kind and let us check in early. I would totally recommend this place if you are looking to stay on the main drag and be close to all the action. They also had a desk in the room + fast WiFi which is great for remote workers.

A little noisy but honestly not bad for the location. Those with a car may need to park a couple blocks away.

Space in the room with comfortable bed and balcony. The roof top was nice and had also a kitchen facility. Water is available. Location was perfect to walk for restaurants and shops. Hotel rents bicicletas, that's a great opportunity to come around. Best was the reception, Karina and Alexandra, they were both so kind and helped me with a lot of perfect recommendations. Thank you sooo much. Will definitely come back when in Tulum!

Spacious rooms, clean bathroom and big lockers in the room. Also a nice rooftop area with kitchen. Location is great. Right on the main street but still quiet.

It is a large hostel and therefore lacks a bit of atmosphere.
