First ever review and thought it was warranted, given I read many reviews on this resort and wasn't sure myself about booking. The Hotel is a bit dated but you get 5 star service, the staff couldn't do enough for you. Exceptionally well located, sea view was stunning. The hotel beach area is perfect, well staffed comfortable bed/loungers and good food. For what you pay I think overall great hotel.

After reading some comments, we were expecting a relatively run down hotel, which was really not the case. Our stay exceeded our expectations, and for several reasons: the hotel itself is really well maintained, and beautiful. The outside pool area is great, with several poolside very comfy sunbeds surrounded by lush vegetation. The pool itself was a bit cold, but on hotter days was really nice. The hotel also has an excellent inside pool that serves as a thalasso space. You can book 1h each day, and the whole family enjoyed it almost on every single day of our stay. We had the buffet breakfast on several occasions, which was plentiful, from continental choices (viennoiseries, bread, cheese, cereals) to local delicacies (e.g. soups, moroccan dishes) as well as crepes. The room was cleaned to a high standard every day, with a very efficient staff. The hotel also has an outside private beach area, which we used almost every day. The staff there was excellent, and made sure we had shade for our little one every single time. Finally, the location is great: it is outside the Medina, but a few minutes walk from it so you get the best of both worlds: access to the busy streets within a few minutes and a few steps away from the beach. Cannot recommend enough, especially for families with young kids!

The communication with the staff via the booking site before arrival was not great. Overall I found the staff outside the reception area incredibly nice (cleaners, beach/pool staff, dining area, guards at the front), while at the reception the staff was quite short. Another thing that bothered us was room service/mini bar checks throughout the day and the evening: the staff kept coming day after day at random hours knocking several times, sometimes opening the door without checking or even if we said several times we didn't need anything. We had a toddler sleeping early at night and during nap times, and several times got awoken by staff just entering our room/keeping knocking while we told them several times not to do so.

The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, helpful and professional without being over-bearing. We enjoyed the quality and variety available at breakfast. We were upgraded to a sea view room which was beautiful and very spacious for 2 adults and 2 children. The location was excellent, right by the beach and a gentle, short walk into the medina. There are lots of areas in the hotel to relax in, both in the sunshine and in the shade. We felt that we had enough space away from other guests. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

Nothing.

Breakfast was fine. Similar to other hotel breakfasts. Sort of a Moroccan-continental breakfast with pastries, fruit, omelet station, Moroccan-pancake section, yogurts, breads and jams. It was nice to go down every day for breakfast.

I didn't like that the staff came into the room throughout the day to do a little cleaning. Sometimes it was a bit of a surprise as we only expected it in the morning for traditional cleaning services. I also didn't like the exorbitant pricing for drinks - a can of soda for 3.5 euros is an exaggeration for Morocco.

The location was convenient for both the town and the beach. Good to have a swimming pool available. Very comfortable beds. Balcony overlooking the pool. Safe, fridge and kettle provided. Excellent breakfast buffet with an amazing array of items to choose. M restaurant very good. Very helpful staff on reception, arranged two good excursions for us.

Breakfast service a bit disorganised and slow. Some room maintenance needed eg damaged wardrobe doors, extractor fans in toilet and bathroom not working. Didn't like the insects, lots of ants and some beetles (possibly cockroaches), mainly in the toilet room.

We liked the position at the sea and close to the medina. The breakfast was great and all the people working there were extremely nice and helpful. They even made a little birthday cake for our daughter and sang Happy Birthday to her. Our kids loved the indoor pool.

We would kindly advice the hotel to change something about the pool beds. They are really dirty and sometimes it's difficult to get shade, because not all umbrellas are working. We were wondering if there could be a solution that protects the beds from the dirt the birds make or if it would be a solution to have washable covers.

I loved the style and architecture of the hotel blending Moorish and Art Deco details as well as more contemporary features. The main restaurant and the U-shaped pool courtyard as well as the Thalasso pool really stood out by their understated elegance. The morning buffet was outstanding and we really liked having access to the relaxing spa pool for one hour. Service was impeccable. And finally the location across the beach promenade and a short walk to the médina is superb.

Nothing to dislike about this property. Perhaps the only inconvenience is the street parking as opposed to a private parking area but spaces are reserved in front of the hotel and security is there 24/7. The Thalasso treatments are pricy but that’s to be expected in a five-star establishment.

breakfast was huge and plentiful with a variety of moroccan and traditional western options, plus yogurts, fresh fruits, pastries, breads, omelets, and freshly made pancakes. the pool was lovely and quiet, and the indoor saltwater pool was a boon. the location is wonderful, just outside the Medina across from the beach but close enough to explore the Medina easily. there was a lovely large terrace attached to our room, and a bathtub (which I always love when traveling). the beds were comfortable and the linens were high end.

the rooms are a little dated, and the air conditioner wasn't working for most of our trip.

This hotel is not 5 star by European standards but it's still very nice. The staff are lovely and the private area on the beach and the pool are lovely. It's in a brilliant location within a very easy, flat walk to the Medina. Our room was big with lots of space and storage, a safe and minibar

The breakfast was expensive if you just wanted something light but there is another hotel with a cafe next door that does a nice breakfast for around 4 euros. Drinks at the beach bar were VERY expensive. Cheapest bottle of Rose wine was nearly 70 euros but again, if you just walk a few metres there are other bars which are much cheaper The bathroom was clean but very shabby looking. Definitely needs an upgrade. It is an old hotel and lots of things are a bit tired but nothing that caused a problem and I would come back

Excellent location for going into the town whenever you want to. Good choice of food at breakfast and staff are polite and helpful. Overall it is a reasonable level of comfort and nice to have a pool and beach area - if you can book early to get the best price.

The rooms especially the bathroom tiling looked a little tired in parts and soundproofing a bit lacking from upper rooms. Breakfast is pricey unless you can get a reduction especially as service is rather slow and things run out, also bar service extremely slow. Ready supply of clean towels and few more parasols and sunbeds even in the shade would be good.
