Small, clean, ensuite rooms with balconies offering panoramic views over the "Petit Socco" in the central square of the old town in the heart of the medina with a rooftop terrace on top with views across the bay. The receptionists were friendly and efficient with a left luggage policy. I've noticed there are many correspondents here who mark this hotel down because of the noise but surely that is a price to pay for the location?! Rest assured there is silence between between 2-8am. The walk to the cross channel ferry terminal is all of 10 minutes walk away.

WOAW!!! I think this hostel is underrated, because of the highest quality I saw in this hostel I have not seen it in anywhere else in Tanger, and I stayed in 3 different hostels before this hostel. Rooms or my room was very spacious and air ventilation coming in from all directions including the daylight, and it was very quiet at night, which is hard to say about most Tanger hostels. Staff... especially the day receptionist was super helpful and nice. The rooftop terrace is very cool...Wide and large

The location is perfect just on the edge of kasbah on top of tea cafe food across the street full of shops tour bus 10 minutes walk away ferry port 10 minutes walk away private toilets rooftop with amazing views of sea and port and mosque is just few minutes walk away i had a wonderful time in tangier the morning staff anas is very good guy he helped me book a bus ticket to Chefchaouen as i was having trouble using my card online he booked me the tickets using his card and saved me a return taxi fare and time to go buy the tickets thanks to him

Property is visibly clean and they got good cleaning staff but they should do more to stop people smoking inside the rooms and give the designated smoking area may be outside the property or on the roof as there was smoke smell inside the hallways at night i even saw someone smoking drugs on the balcony and one of the evening staff also smokes on the terrace in reception lounge and there was bad smell

Excellent location in the Medina, Petit Socco. Very friendly helpful staff who spoke multiple languages (for me, Darija, French & English)

The only ‘bad’ point was that the bottom sheet was not fitted an a bit small for the double bed such that it wouldn’t stay tucked in. Tourist problems ;-) The only other problem, and I say this merely as a warning is there are lots of steps (reception is on the ‘first’ floor and the double and deluxe room was on the third) which if you’re getting older, out of shape and have dodgy gams can be a bit much. Or consider it a stair master! :-)

Great location, inside the medina, everything is close - restaurants, coffee shops just under the place and the streets to the market boutiques just begin around it. From Tanger Ville port it's about 10 mins walk. Very helpful staff, they gave us advices on bus/taxi, and helped us with our heavy suitcases :))) Clean rooms with high walls. Nice rooftop view to the whole town. Definitely worth for the price.

Prayer from the mosque early morning and the street can be loud (till around midnight) - if you sleep well in general then it's fine - I don't so I used earplugs :D

The hotel is an exceptional value, excellent location right in the Medina, I requested a room at the back which was very quiet. The staff were all excellent and went above and beyond to assist me. I spent 8 nights and made Tanger my home base and took day and overnight trips to other cities and towns. The only one complaint I had is that the very heavy thick blankets on the full bed were not clean, they felt and looked dirty. I quickly solved this problem by buying my own inexpensive blanket for 22 euros, as I'm travelling north to Barcelona in Nov, an additional blanket may come in handy. The owner who I understand lives in Rabat, never responded to my written complaint about the dirty blankets, he's lucky to have such a great staff looking after his property in his absence. First time ever in my around the world travels (50 years) that I encountered a blanket that was totally unacceptable. Tom - Momtreal Nov 2022

Perfect location in the Petit Socco, short walk to the best sights and restaurants of Tanger. The roof terrace has the most fabulous view across the Kasbah and over the ocean to Spain. The basic rooms are very clean with truly comfortable beds. Staff are very helpful - fully recommended

As a busy part of the old town, there is the sound of people in the streets below - rooms at the back are quiet.

The Hotel is simple without luxuries, inside the old medina. The staff are very very very attentive! Always ready to help us, they changed our room when we needed it because of the noise and also provided me with new sheets due to the heat. Very helpful and kind, I recommend it for economical stays and easy location

The room was cleaned throughly and the bed sheets was changed as asked .They even asked if a bag needed to be collected from the room which i thought was really kind of him to go out of there way which i declined . The receptionists always had a smile on there faces and always said yes to what ever i needed or wanted

The bath room floor does get wet which is understandable because there is no shower door .

Loved the location and the little balcony. Good hot water and shower. Staff pleasant and attentive. Great views from roof terrace Excellent value for money. Comfy bed

Bathroom a bit of a squeeze . Sometimes noisy at night, but that goes with the location. Chairs in room very uncomfortable (we liked to spend time sitting on balcony and chairs too uncomfortable for more than 1/2 an hour at a time)
