Spacious room with all the usual amenities. The polite staff were very welcoming. A great location, close enough to everything to walk, but far enough that is was quiet at night.

Hotel was just too warm. There was air conditioning in the room which was great, but there was also a radiator which I couldn't turn off. Breakfast was either a pastry or pastry, these were fresh and delicious but it would have been nice to have some more variety.

This small but very comfortable hotel is located in a charming and quiet area on the edge of the more bustling parts of Amsterdam. It's just 10 minutes walk from the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh museum and a beautiful 30 minutes walk from Anne Frank's house and other attractions. Getting around on foot is highly recommended but there are also plenty of trams and buses; indeebd the main station is just 15 minutes away from the hotel by tram. The hotel reception are helpful, the whole hotel is clean and bright and the rooms are, well, roomy. There is a kettle for tea and coffee making as well as hot drinks on tap in the sub-ground "cafe". The hotel provide bicycles for those young enough to ride one safely but we just walked our little legs off. The excellent Seafood Restaurant is just around the corner and there are plenty of excellent rijsttaffel restaurants (but booking ahead is vital).

Nothing comes to mind

The location was good for what I needed although I had to walk a lot everywhere which was not a problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. The airconditioner in the room was good. There was hot water in the shower. The room was clean.

The room was basic, no amenities. There was a coffee machine but only decaf in my room and the hot chocolate sachet was stale. There is a so called breakfast room downstairs that has a coffee machine with bad coffee and 2 pastries to chose from. I cant compare with other Amsterdam hotels because I havent been in a while. Overall at the price that I paid i expected to get more. The internet was slow.

We loved this hotel. Perfect if you are staying a few days and want a homebase. Great location if you like museums and don't want to be in the middle of all the craziness. Great walking nearby. Great, quiet restaurants. And super close to a Tram stop, which made it easy to get where you needed to go. If we come back to Amsterdam, we will stay here again!

Lobby is not staffed 24/7. Also, it is not disability friendly. Stairs to get into the hotel, and there was a step into the bathroom. Fine for us, but not if you use a mobility device.

Nice hotel that allows you to have your privacy at a lower price than other hotels in the city center. Check in was fast. At the underground floor there is a coffee machine where you can have a hot drink whenever you want. In the morning there are also some croissants for all the guests so that you can have your sweet breakfast here. Our room was quite spacious and, even if it faced on the street, it was quite and silent. The bathroom is private, with shower, and provided of towels. A shower gel is fixed at the shower's wall. It's a no smoking hotel which I think is correct in order to preserve all guests' desires. You will have Vondel Park just outside the hotel so you can go there if necessary. We went to the city center every day, in almost fourthy minutes walking distance you can reach the central station which is at the opposite side of the city, but in any case there are lot of trams and public transport is efficient. We wanted to stay near the museums. For us, the location of this hotel was excellent. It is in a quiet road in a pleasant neighbourhood. The museums are a ten minute walk away. Transportation links to the station and airport are good and frequent. There is a selection of cafes and restaurants nearby and a supermarket near the museums. We had a lovely large room overlooking the park. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Although there is not a breakfast room, there 24 access to a coffee machine in the basement and free croissants in the mornings.

The location was excellent, a quiet area, near the major museums and the city center with easy access from the airport. The double bed was large and very comfort. One of the receptionists was very kind, helpful and eased our accommodation.

We knew that there was no breakfast offered (only some croissants, coffee & tea) but still the hotel could offer a decent breakfast at the price it charges. The rooms look dated, the carpet should be changed and the room service can be improved. The bathroom was rather small but well equipped and functional. Overall, a bit overpriced for the services offered.

The personnel were really nice and seemed to be able to answer your doubts about the city and also to solve any problem regarding the room. The room was good, not so big but more than enough for two people to spend a night. Both the mattress and the pillows were really comfortable. The hotel, in theory, does not offer breakfast; nonetheless, when we did the check-in the receptionist informed us that in the basement they have a coffee and tea machine, tea and croissants and pains au chocolate for breakfast and for free. Indeed, we went to the basement on the morning and everything was great. It is a very nice detail from the hotel that we very much appreciated.

The shower did not have a shower screen, although it was not a big deal. Windows could not be opened, as they were locked with key; and they did not isolate, as we could hear the cars passing by and people talking on the streets.

Considering its location in Amsterdam near the Museum Square it's great value for money. The staff is really kind. There is no breakfast but free croissants, coffee and juice in the basement room. Simple, but comparable to what I eat in the morning anyway. ;-)

Room was rather hot and duct tape on the radiator dial made it difficult to set the heating lower. The sink stop was broken. The walls are a bit thin. The water boiler was nice, but some of the complimentary satchets of coffee and creamer were missing. The coffee in the basement breakfast room tasted a bit chemical. Despite these things I would still recommend the hotel because of its price, location and staff.

Great location near Museumplein, staff were lovely and very helpful, comfortable room, tea/ coffee facilities, mini fridge, good shower, A/C. Location was quiet and hotel itself was quiet, no issues with noise. Complementary tea/ coffee and pastries available in the morning but no full breakfast option.

Some aspects of the room were a bit dated and could have done with more new towels on day two. They only very roughly remake bed - it's more of a tidy then clean of the rooms each day but we didn't have any issues.
