Everything is cool about the Hard Rock Hotel, you really feel like a rockstar. Special mention to Simone at the reception desk that made my stay awesome. Early check in, late check out. Awesome room with a balcony. The bed is super comfy.

The room was not super clean, the balcony was not clean and shower gel was missing in the toilette.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was ready when we arrived even though it was much earlier than the official check in hour and the staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and the space it was served in was lovely. Our room had a nice view to the canal, it was clean and comfy. The hotel also has a nice fitness center. Central location. Overall a great value for money.

Lovely, friendly hotel, very helpful staff , in particular ale the concierges. Brilliant location - very close to the museums but also easy walking/bike distance to the whole of the old-town.

Just one thing: at breakfast on the first day no problem, we were asked whether tea or coffee and we're promptly brought them to our table. The next 2 days no one asked, no coffee machines available, finally went to the bar to order coffee... Finally got them about 20-30 minutes later, long after having finished eating. Other guests had the same problem. Otherwise pretty much perfect.

Beautiful modern hotel in excellent location. Lovely lounge areas to relax in. Memorabilia on show was good to see. Water and free hot drinks in the foyer was nice touch. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Nice bar area and we enjoyed the free DJ and Jazz entertainment. Staff were friendly and helpful.

A large pre-arranged filming session was taking place in the public areas of the hotel. We were asked by the crew on numerous occasions either to wait or to go a different way. One crew member in particular was rude. When paying as much money for a hotel including €18 for champagne in the bar, we should not have been asked to do this. It tainted our 1st night and made the hotel appear less welcoming than what it was. I did speak to a supervisor the next morning who was apologetic and indicated they would address this.

Their support and guidance greatly contributed to a smooth and enjoyable experience. Thoughtful Complimentary Taxi Service: The complimentary taxi service arranged by booking.com was a delightful surprise. This convenient addition added value to our stay and showcased a commitment to guest convenience. Personalized Touches: Finding our names displayed on the TV and having access to different playlists for various moments within the room was a creative and memorable touch. These small details contributed to a unique and personalized stay.

Improvement Feedback: Noise Disturbance from Connecting Door: One significant drawback of our stay was the noise disturbance caused by the connecting door to the neighboring room. We could hear activities and conversations, which negatively impacted our sleep and overall relaxation. Improving sound insulation or exploring alternative room configurations could greatly enhance guest comfort. While we greatly appreciated the positive aspects of our stay at the Hard Rock Hotel in Amsterdam, addressing the noise issue arising from the connecting door would significantly elevate the overall guest experience. We believe that with this improvement, the hotel can continue to provide exceptional and memorable stays for all guests.

Location was great, not too far from the main area of the city or any of the attractions and there’s plenty of transport options right next to the hotel. Room + hotel was extremely clean and beds were comfortable. Plenty of amenities available if needed. The decor of the hotel was awesome with the items from various musicians placed about the hotel. Staff were accommodating of late checkout needed and very friendly.

The water pressure of the shower in the room was really poor, barely felt like it was actually doing anything. Think it is overpriced for what it is. I know there’s expensive suites and stuff in the hotel which are probably amazing but for the basic one it was still expensive for what you actually get. Okay for a night for the novelty and experience but not really worth the money otherwise. maybe option of late checkout when making booking as I asked upon checkin but was told to ask the morning of due to how busy the hotel was meaning it was harder to plan for the day.

Staff were all super helpful and friendly - a great bunch of people! Loved the decor and facilities in my room, with fab canal view - and windows that open. Lovely buffet breakfast, good friendly vibe in the bar (both bar staff and clientele) and the evening meal I had (including oysters!) in the superb art deco restaurant was a delight. Such a great location, too, especially for getting to Museumplein for many of the important museums.

Very limited choice of international channels on the TV. Yes, BBC1 and BBC2 - great - but no BBC News Channel. Shower room has no towel rail, nor hooks to hang bathrobe / clothes on. Surprising omission, given the attention to detail in the bedroom.

The themed hotel held a very special significance for us. I loved how everything was based around music/concert etc - even the spare toilet paper wrapper said “B-side” - how clever!

Probably the pillows but that is generally Europe-wide I’ve found. Also felt the Rock Royalty Room was a bit small ie not much room between end of bed & tv/coffee shelf.

I travelled with my 16 years son, the staff was always very gentle and caring. The fact that you can borrow one of their electric guitar (+ amp & headset) at no cost (only a deposit) was a plus for my son. The position is perfect to visit the center or the museums (Rijks and Van Gogh are 10 mins walking). The American café where you have the breakfast is actually a very nice place.

The room (a superior twin) size was rather small and the bed had a mattress not that comfy. The breakfast buffet, although quite nice turned up to be a bit of a costly option (I did not have it included in the rate)

location, staff, Hotel's design. The hotel was very clean and staff were very helpful. The location was perfect for us. it was within walking distance from Dam square without having to deal with the large crowds in Amsterdam Centre. it takes about 10 minutes to reach Amsterdam's Dam Square and you will get to walk the lovely shopping streets and passing a few canals. There were little details in the hotel that we found very interesting, such as a Bluetooth speaker in the form of a guitar amplifier, guitar logos sewed to the pillow cases and the ambience of the hotel in general.

Our room was a bit small, but we expected that from a hotel in the centre of Amsterdam.
