One of the best hotels + comfortable stays of the few hotels ive stayed in across my trip. Following + points - was given a room upgrade. ( thank you!!). Room was spacious and the type where there is ample space to move around even after having a few big luggage - Hotel check in and reception was fast. counter Staff was friendly, welcoming and had given us good tips on what to do around the area - liked the location since we specifically chose this area which is further from the central train station. Leidseplein tram station is about a less than 5 min walk away from the hotel, that's very assessible to hop on and off to move around central. - A few convenience stores and a groceries store nearby which was definitely a plus point - good idea to have the initiative for exchanging " room clean up( if you dont need it)" for a drink. - The hotel also provides umbrella rental at the lobby. which is something that could be useful if it rains

Everything was great! Staff was very helpful. We arrived before check in time after a very long flight and man at reception was kind enough to check if room was available and we could check in. Room is spacious and has everything you need. Comfy bed, good wifi. Restaurant's food is great, either a snack at the bar at night or breakfast with plenty of choices. Close to the musem area and the city center. We will come back.

The location was perfect. Tram stations on the road opposite, frequent trams to central station from that location, a metro a 10 min walk away. Everything was also within easy walking distance. Designer shops nearby for shopping too. If you opted to not have your room cleaned, you got a free drink per person at the bar which was a lovely bonus! The staff were so friendly and extremely helpful - concierge is available if you arrive before check in or want to continue your day after check out without your luggage. The room was beautiful, calming and peaceful. Couldn’t hear anyone around us.

Approximately 20 minutes by tram from Sloterdijk station. is also reached. Close to museums and Dam Square. Stayed in room 121. Everything that would be needed was thought of. Breakfast was diverse and fresh. The employees were caring and friendly. The beverage offering was a pleasant surprise.

The weather was cold. We weren't cold, but we couldn't warm the room as we wanted. Guests on the upper floor and in our next room made noise. It's disturbing for someone with sleep sensitivity like me. Sound insulation should be reviewed.

The location was perfect for our itinerary. We engaged with the staff daily and all were very friendly. The was just a bit small but very good by European standards. We will most definitely return to this particular NH location. We appreciated the hotels welcoming chocolates, they were very delicious.

We thought the breakfast that was offered was just a bit too expensive and there needed to be more options for light breakfast eaters. Maybe just offer a small coffee and juice bar for guests who opt out of the buffet breakfast.

For my birthday, we chose to have a weekend in Amsterdam and stay at NH Amsterdam Leidseplein Hotel. I would like to thank Nicole and Debora for making our stay incredible. Thank you for your time, explanations and recommendations, and all the presents. And I highly recommend this hotel for its proximity to both museums and the most touristy areas. we did everything on foot without problems (for example, it takes 30 minutes to go to central station), but if necessary, the tram passes right in front of the hotel. thank you again, Nicole and Debora, and we look forward to coming back one day soon.

The property was furnished to a very high standard, very clean and the room we had was surprisingly big we had so much space ! It was for my partners birthday and I had emailed the staff to do something nice upon arrival for him to which they had decorated a plate with chocolates and wrote a lovely note ! I was made up! It was extremely close to the centre I searched high and low on walking distance and timing from so many hotels and I did good picking this one ! It was absolutely perfect!

The only negatives we can think of was the gym was fully booked all of the days we was there so had to use a gym outside of the hotel, On the last 2 days there was a strong stench of a number 2 throughout the lobby and bedroom we thought it may have been our toilet but it was clear there must have been something wrong with the sewage or pipes ! Don’t let this put you off though as it may have been sorted now?!

First, the staff was incredibly accommodating. We arrived early and they allowed for bag storage while we walked around the city. They answered questions and provided great recommendations. The location of the hotel made it worth it. Right near a busy area, a beautiful park and a tram station.

The room was very hot for us, as we prefer to sleep in the cold. There was a radiator in the room that could not be turned off and the AC was not strong enough to make it cold. Also, the shower was high up and hard for us to get out of.

Excellent location, friendly staff, a nice bar in the lobby and a very good breakfast buffet. The room faces an inner courtyard - no view but means absolutely no street noise! Easy walking distance to museums and old city, and excellent public transport to go further. We parked outside the city at Amsterdam Zuid and came by metro so the hotel, so no worries about parking. The room is small but fine for a short stay.

Unfortunately, the hot food is laid out in ceramic dishes rather than a heated serving table; everything was cold. The price - well, Amsterdam hotel prices are through the roof, but that's not the fault of the hotel.

The hotel is amazing!!! Location is close to everything. Jorick was amazing we stayed for my boyfriend’s birthday, he organised the room to be decorated which was stunning! And such a lovely surprise. The room was clean very spacious and lovely view. I still can’t get over this hotel! I would definitely say it’s the best one in Amsterdam. The staff are so lovely and always willing to help! Will 100% come back!
