The Location was just perfect for me.❤️ RHO Hotel is located in the heart of Amsterdam, Dam Square. For transport you will pay less due to the Superb Location. Red Light Districts, central streets were 8 mins by walking distance. Staff were kind to me. What did I asked them they tried to help me every time. There is a machine where you can grab a cup of coffee/tea for free.🫖☕️ Prices might be more normal because the quality of the room was not so good. I think high prices is due to the location.

The room was too small even for one person and for this price it feels unfair. (( When I arrived to the Hotel, lady said me that I can upgrade my room (ekstra charge) but I didn't to that. Just keep in mind that if your luggage is a big one, then it will be a little problem for you. Not much space in the room. Only thing what I didn't like was, when I took a shower Bathroom was full steam. I mean the bathroom was all steam from ceiling to the floor. Walls also included. Even though temperature was not hot.

It's a great place if you have many things to do, and you need a place to crash. The location couldn't be better (1 step from Dam square!!), yet the street is quiet. The staff is friendly, patient, helpful. It's relatively cheap. The room was quite big, the bed was good, I didn't hear my neightbours. They have a very handy luggage depot system; they even kept the luggage of colleagues who hadn't slept at the hotel for a few hours, when their flight was cancelled!!

I expected to meet a Minotaur somewhere in the serious maze of hallways and steps, looking for my room! 'Functional' describes this place best; everything works fine and is easy to clean and is not fancy. It looks a bit outdated, so a serious make-over in the design department would be great. There's not a lot of light in the room.

Location of this hotel is excellent. The breakfast room is really bright and airy and the staff on breakfast are really friendly. My room was big clean and basic. My room was cleaned every day to an excellent standard. I would stay at this hotel again.

Reception front desk staff were rather aloof.

The room was a good size, room for 2 suitcases. We welcomed a window that could be opend too. The third floor was accessed by an elevastor, which is not always the case at some stays. The hotel is centrally situated in the older part of Amsterdam although not all taxi drivers could find the road there.

The window looked out to a court yard of roofs and a large glass roof section which was illuminated all night. Thankfully the curtains could block most of the light. The TV had issues and the picture would pixleate badly after about 15mins on most channels. The room was at first hidden behind a door at the top of a couple of stairs. It didn't need to be there ?

They changed us to an airconditioned room on the second day. The first room on the 1st floor was not airconditioned & even with the fan in all night it was too hot & stuffy.

Elevators were located through the breakfast area and away from the reception didn’t feel very safe

Great location. The room was very clean (I'm always a bit paranoid, so I always check everything right after I open the door, and it was really clean). The room smelled nice as well. AC worked great. Working vending machines with water, soda and snacks (the one on the main floor also had toothbrush/paste, razor) but also very close to several restaurants

The window is in a weird angle, so we need to fix the curtain very well, so there's no light in the room in the morning, but it only took a couple of minutes. There was some noise during the cleaning time in the morning. It was around 9am, so it was not as bad as if it was earlier. And I could hear some people talking (but I don't know if the staff, guests or neighbors)

The location of the hotel was perfect. The staff was very good. Breakfast was adequate. The first room we were given on the 4th floor had a problem with the radiator, but the hotel staff was helpful and immediately moved our room to the 2nd floor. Thus, we stayed in a very hot room.

There is a huge difference between the pre-reservation fee made through Booking.com and the payment you will make directly at the hotel on the last day. Except for very busy periods, you can take a little risk and go to the hotel without making a reservation. This was the only disappointment for us.

When I visit a city for tourism I have a set of parameters I look for while booking a hotel. We visited Amsterdam 8 years ago and I didn't remember the name of the hotel we stayed in, looking for a hotel to stay in 2024 did my search filtered my options and booked RHO, to my surprise it turned out to be the same hotel that met my search criteria 8 years ago! Location is perfect, like exceptionally perfect, you are in a short walking distance from everything. Our room even was overlooking Dam square. Breakfast was included and it was nice, not the fanciest but it was nice. It's a perfect spot to stay in Amsterdam, we only used it to sleep through the night. Amsterdam hotels aren't cheap, and this was within the mid range of surrounding hotels. But for 250 euros per night in other countries you get an all inclusive 5 stars resort on the beach 😅

Great location located at the center of the city. It is 1 metro ride from the Amsterdam Centraal station to Rokin. If you have purchased the daily public transportation pass, it is a good option to reach the hotel via metro. We wished we were told about this option earlier, otherwise we wouldn’t have pulled our luggage all the way from the Central station that is about 10 mins walk under a pleasant weather. In short, it is close to everywhere you would like to go. Accessible to metro and trams. The hotel reception also provide direct bookings to the tours. Feel free to ask them. Breakfast is about 15euro per person, worth checking out.

The bed sunk. Room light is too dim, not enough lighting supply in the room. For a 20square meter room, there is only 1 wall light, 1 standing light, and 2 bedside lights. I find it too dark.
