Perfect location near the Markt with many restaurants, bars. The hotel is a beautiful old building, and the rooms are stylish with very comfortable beds. Nespresso in the room, what do you want more! I did not hear anything from neighbouring rooms as I was expecting from being an old building. I did not have breakfast, but the restaurant looked very nice, next time I will take time to have breakfast at the hotel

Only a minor details, but the shower had 2 showerheads, the large one did not have a enough waterpressure to use it and the other one I had to hold it when showering and it was difficult not to get the bathroom very wet...The bathroom itself was spacious, very clean and stylish

The Staff were polite, friendly, flexible, helpful and accommodating of our needs. VERY happy with the staff. Excellent location near to the bus stop for the train station; old city sights, food and shopping areas. Comfortable rooms with modern decor. Our 2nd floor room was light and airy. We were there in summer (with hot days) so better to have an upper floor room so you can open the windows.

The breakfast was short on bowls and cutlery at times; the variety and volume of cereals could be improved. Otherwise a good range of hot and cold selection was available.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Monastere in Maastricht, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a warm and friendly staff that made us feel right at home. The breakfast at Hotel Monastere was simply fantastic. There was a wide variety of delicious options to choose from, ranging from freshly baked pastries to a selection of hot dishes. The quality of the food was top-notch, and it was evident that the hotel takes pride in offering a memorable dining experience.

We occasionally noticed footsteps from the rooms upstairs, it was not a major disruption to our overall experience at Hotel Monastere

The hotel is close to everything - restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, shopping area, bus stops, etc. Unfortunately, everything was closed due to lockdown and Christmas holidays. You could still get your food delivered, so that is nice. Also, they gave us a free room upgrade since we stayed 3 nights. The room is big and has a chic interior. It was comfy for a staycation. The T&B also looks nice and big. The internet connection is also fast.

We brought some food over and was hoping to keep them in the fridge, but there was none. There was also no closet. There was a panel to hang our outerwears and pants.

The hotel was in a very good situation close to restaurants, bars and shops. We had a lovely and clean and spotless bedroom incredibly comfortable bed which was a godsend (Room 114) with the same very high standard of hygiene in the bathroom. Beautiful shutters enhanced and framed the amazing windows. I do think that it would have been interesting to have had some history on the former monastery (we may have missed this) but a good place to have this information/images to hand would have been in the bar as there was not much to look at in there. The reception and cloakroom was again of a very high standard. we made use of the free literature and information on Maastricht which was available.

The bar could be bigger. Reception staff could have engaged with us more (sorry) maybe a language thing. We didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment on that however, it did look lovely and spacious.

I really like how they turn on an old building in a very nice hotel, with nice deco and modern style. They were perfectly kind all the time, we were there celebrating my mother’s birthday and they welcoming us with balloons in the room. I felt really appreciated.

There is only one thing: the smell in the bathroom. I assume that as is an ancient building, it has old pipes, but I would suggest as a solution, maybe an air freshener or something like that.

Very nice hotel in the center of Maastricht. Modern and stylish design. Room was spacious with big bathroom and comfortable beds. The only one small thing I didn't like was a small very small toilet. Beside this hotel is nice, quiet taking into account thats is just on the main street. NOW most important thing. Their restaurant is very nice but food oh my god amazing. In my opinion chef should be getting Michelin Star ⭐ Absolutely best steak I ever eat. Steak was vell vell vell done almost burned ( its just how I like my beef) normally I would expect hard shoe, but here beef was soft, juicy and melting in my mouth...amazing. Overall great value for money. Just minute walk from city center. Fully recomended.

Small toilet

The room was clean and smelled good when we entered. The bathroom is pleasant, the pillows and the bed are comfortable, finally, the amenities are okay. The location is in the center. Within a few minutes walk you will find all restaurants, cafes, shops and supermarkets. The staff are nice and friendly.

The hotel does not have its own parking lot, but you can book a Q-park around Maastricht and look for the nearest one where you can park.

Good location. Close to the City Hall and the city centre. The room is well-air-conditioned and warm enough in the middle of December. The room facility is well-functioning. You can find a SPAR shop just across the road, which is open until 22:00.

The hot water from the shower is extremely hot and dangerous. You should be careful about the water temperature before taking it.

The city is located very close to the old centre of Maastricht, so there are lots of bars and eateries within a short walk. It's a really pleasant, charming hotel with lots of nice touches. The room was really comfortable and was refreshed each day. The staff were friendly and pleasant. If travelling to Maastricht I'd love to go back. A perfect spot for sightseeing in Maastricht.

We asked for a twin and got a double but as it was very large and comfortable it wasn't a problem.
