Had a great stay at Moxy Hotel. Right across from Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn station and maybe a 20 minute walk into the centre of Utrecht. The room was a good size for just the 2 of us and was very clean. The tv had an option to stream YouTube and Netflix so that was also great. Another massive plus that was such a pleasant surprise, was that my now husband and I stayed here for our wedding night here and we told the staff a few days before. They decorated our room with all sorts of cute decorations, petals on the bed and a voucher for free drinks. We felt so special and it was so lovely ❤️.

The rooms don't have closets so we had to live out of our suitcases, that was a bit annoying. There was also no iron in the room and my husband wanted to iron his wedding suit and shirt before the wedding, he ended up not being able to do that. Maybe there was another place in the hotel to do ironing, we didn't have time to ask so not sure about that. Also a bit downside was no kettle in the room. You can come down during breakfast to get coffee in the bar area, but we couldn't have any tea or coffee after breakfast. Especially at night that was a big shame, because a cup of tea at night would've been very nice.

The hotel concept in General this is my third time staying, it feels like home. The staff amazing, I love clean area which this meet my expectations, my kids felt like home the can go around the place safely, they have different activities for type of age's. Breakfast 🥞🍳 super delicious! Top hotel in Utrecht

The cleaning all are great, some time they miss some area to clean, the major problem I believe is the restaurant services lunch time and dinner they should have a proper kitchen fresh food not fast warm food that's really bad. Second happy hour coffee and tea should be free, Bar service should improve a bit.

room was comfortable, modern and very clean.breakfast is good, lots of things to pick from. the reception area has a cool vibe to it, nice place to have a drink and enjoy the canal view. Location is good, not in the city centre but we didn't mind the short walk

our room was on the east side of the hotel on a relatively low floor, which meant we could hear loud talking late into the night from people coming and leaving the nearby concert venue. We asked for a different room and we got sorted immediately in the canal side of the hotel which was much better. thanks!

The staff were passionate about their job and kept us, as customers, very happy. They made sure to do the most for us and welcomed us. So much so that we have visited Utecht twice and both times stayed here at the Moxy. Upon realising this, a very friendly member of staff at the front desk allowed us to check in sooner than we expected. This was helpful as we had arrived in Utrecht at 8 am and check-in wasn't until 3 pm. The room we received was large, with two TVs, a large bathroom, a comfortable spacious bed with a view of the city, clean towels and a complimentary drink. 10/10.

There was nothing I disliked about the Moxy. It is a fantastic hotel and even smells good as soon as you walk in the door. Maybe I didn't like the weather in Utrecht but the Moxy can't control that.

Rooms were very clean and ours had a lovely view of the canal. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I liked the minimal design of the room, and the bed was very comfortable. Large TV in room. Stored luggage before check in and for a few hours after check out which was handy. Welcome drink on arrival is a nice touch!

The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night on the first two consecutive nights of our stay. 2 mornings of complimentary breakfast were provided after the second night in a row which helped, but a note under the door would have been appreciated also for informing of this as it was just a note in the lift and we missed the first morning.

The hotel was well-located: there was a tram and railway station just across the road (one stop to the central station, trams every ~6 minutes), and it was nice to be able to sit outside by the canal for breakfast. In any case, Utrecht is not big and walking to the very centre could be done via attractive streets along the canals in about 15 minutes. There were also a few good places to eat and drink nearby, without going into the centre. The staff were friendly and obliging (e.g., even cutting fresh ginger for tea). The room design was good.

There was always music in the bar/reception area and sometimes this was quite loud, so it wasn't as relaxing as it could have been, especially in the morning at breakfast, and on arrival. Same for the TV in the room: this was on (and playing music) when I arrived and spoiled the calm of the otherwise nice room.

The location was good for the local train station to connect to the main one. Right next to the canal with a lovely view and easy walk to the centre. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the reception area was cool with plenty of different seating areas.

It was a good 20-30 mins walk into the main centre and there could have been more facilities in the room i.e. more space to hang clothes, more pillows and places to put wet towels. The room decor was really cool, modern and minimalist but not practical.

Across the road from Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn rail station (do not confuse with Utrecht Leidsche Rijn, as at least one traveller has done!), so very convenient for arrival, and for the main reason for visit (Spoorwegmuseum, a short walk away). Room clean and comfortable. With window open, some noise from adjacent street and bars, but with it closed, so goes the noise. Good curtains to keep the early morning light down. One uniquely impressive feature in the bathroom was a shower door which closed and managed to keep all the water within the shower enclosure - an unusual treat to step out onto a dry mat which is not already sodden due to leakage. Plus points for that, Moxy! Plenty of places to eat and drink within a short walk.

I don't think it was worth what I was charged, but I did choose to visit the weekend immediately following Kings Day, so I guess prices were high anyway. The town was certainly busy, but I got no sense of having "value for money" here. Room had an air conditioning control panel, but in the best traditions of the genre, this one had absolutely no effect on the room environment, or the noisy fan supposedly controlling it.

Very accommodating hotel. Rooms are rather small (no closets) but very clean. Among the amenities, I appreciated the powerful hairdryer (as hairdryers are often unusable in hotel bathrooms) and the comfortable bed. The hotel is excellently located away from the busy city center, but still accessible everywhere on foot and right next to the train and tram and bus stops. The hotel lobby is pleasant, with places to relax or work on your laptop.

More storage space in the room would be appreciated.

The staff was accommodating. Although there was no refrigerator in the room, they allowed me to store my son’s milk in their staff fridge. The free coffee in the morning and water throughout the day is also great. We also enjoyed the lobby activities.

The room interior is not so functional—instead of clothes racks, there are hooks on a metal grid with hangers. This is ok for a couple of nights, but I imagine not for longer, especially in the winter with coats to be hung.
