The room was comfy for 3 of us adults. It had a nearly complete kitchenette with electric stove, microwave oven, electric kettle, wash basin, small fridge and basic cutlery. But it's not meant for heavy cooking as there was no proper ventilation and it's fine with us. They also provided tea bags, sugar and cream in sachets. There was also a LCD TV, quite large and nearly of HD quality. A short walk from the motel, maybe 3 minutes walk, was a small grocery shop called Airport Dairy Shop, which was opened on Sunday when we're there. For muslim guest, the Al-Maktoum Airport mosque is just about 1 km from the motel and there's also the GetFresh grocery shop where you could get halal meat and food.

Nothing which I didn't like. For a 3 star motel, it's beyond my expectation.

We arrived at 1100pm in Auckland Airport and it was raining. I called the number given in Booking.com and immediately answered by a gentleman, whom I presume was Mr Tan. He came to the airport within 20 minutes and picked us up ( 3 of us). Within 5 - 10 minutes, we arrived at the motel and he dropped us in front of our unit, and infact he handed over the room key inside the van itself. So it was so convenient and seamless for our check in process, considering we're tired after the 10 hours flight. The room came with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed, hence suited for our group. Even though the motel was a bit outdated, but it was fully taken care of and I noticed all the units had been painted new. Even the electric heater was new and worked fine during the winter season.

It's all a good experience for us staying at this motel. Our unit was on the first floor, hence I suggest if your group includes elderly person or person with mobility- issue or even if you have many baggages, please request for a ground unit. And if I may suggest, it will be good if additional power sockets be installed in the room.

Fantastic value for the price paid. We paid what I thought was a very reasonable price and although the rooms are nothing flash they have everything you need and even a small kitchen. We only stayed 1 night but we were able to park our car there while overseas (first week free then $5 per night there after). They also had a free shuttle to the airport that even took us at 3am! And picked us up again at the airport when we returned. The staff member we dealt with was fantastic.

Beds were quite hard.

Our Family of 5 travelled from Wellington to spend a day @ Rainbows End. We wanted a pool and something not so far from Rainbows End. Literally a 9min drive (if not in peak traffic) Basic Clean/Tidy Rooms. The WiFi was a bonus. For our excursion this place worked well for all of us. The Pool is a winner, a smaller pool connected to the larger pool meant our 4year old could potter around without having to be carried. All Happy Chappies Here

Lovely big room, complimentary shuttle from and to the airport was very helpful. Driver very polite and helpful. Affordable price and very close to the airport. Will stay again when we come back to New Zealand 😊

The team at the motel were really nice and helpful. I booked at the last minute for that evening and had no problem checking in. They were really communicative and went out of their way to make sure things went smoothly for me right up until the moment I got to the airport the next day, which was greatly appreciated. My room had everything you'd need for a stopover. It was a good temperature and the bed was comfortable. I had a kitchenette, clean bathroom, etc, and the room looks out to a nice grassy courtyard with big sliding doors and thick curtains. Good wifi and the area was quiet at night.

I didn't see any milk in the fridge for my tea... Otherwise no complaints!

Very polite staff. Room was like a studio apartment with a nice outlook over the garden. Kitchen had a fridge, oven, hob and microwave . Bathroom had a decent shower with plenty of hot water . It was very clean throughout Early morning shuttle was very efficient..

Kitchen utensils could do with checking and the cooker was very worn. Hand basin did not have a plug.

Excellent service!! Loved the free shuttle service to the airport and pick-up even in the wee small hours ! And loved knowing our car was being looked after while we were away. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable.

Decor, especially the bathroom is a bit tired and could do with an upgrade. All still fully functional so it's not a problem.

Motel is situated beside a busy road. If you are a light sleeper this could be a problem for you. No eating facilities close by. (Staff recommended using UberEats) Shower head was unfortunately too low for my liking (I’m 1.60m) and in a fixed position. Water pressure was great, but if I had been travelling with my entire family (3 members over 6 feet tall) they would be irritated

I was pleasantly surprised. Although it's a bit 1980s, the room was large with separate kitchen and bathroom. Everything worked as expected and the place was clean. I did get an upstairs room and I think those are better than the ground floor. Would definitely use it again as a one nighter before catching a flight!

Bit of a seedy neighbourhood, but that's what you get close to the airport.
