A booklet hard copy explaining everything is an absolute must rather than just relying on the TV screen - we could not work out the scan process which was incredibly frustrating. Relying on IT 100% is a shocking strategy.

As described above. Everything and the pool and staff were excellent

As we hired a car, the distance from the airport suited us very well. It was also close proximity to takeaway restaurants and a well-appointed shopping centre. We also found it very easy to travel back onto the motorway south bound and just as easily found our way back a few weeks later. The property was tastefully decorated and the rooms were in excellent condition. The beds were extremely comfortable. We really loved the ‘robot’ food delivery service too!

The only down sound was the hallway noise level from other patrons.

Perfect location away from the riff raff, great amenities, fabulous custom service by all staff, room service ordering was easy, hotel is clean and aesthetically calming. Rooms and bathrooms were all clean, great sized rooms and offered tv, hot drink station and the bathroom offered ample toiletries for those that travel light. The pool on site is a great escape for those traveling with children, like myself. Didn’t use the gym but it’s a great size for those wanting to stay on top of their workout regimen. Overall experience was great, we enjoyed our stay (12 people, 3 twin rooms). Will be returning on our next holiday.

Rooms were quiet, location was great close to the airport

The bed was so uncomfortable. the hardest bed I’ve ever slept on, gave me a sore back.

Three times I asked for towels and didn’t get them rang twice to reception and asked a staff member and answer was always will send them up ended up going to the pool and grabbing towels from there myself so we could have showers , Also asked reception if we can have milk said someone will bring up never did so I called front desk and someone said it’ll come up now never did …. And only 1 little complaint about the bath started running it and the plug came out and all this brown gunk started filling up in the tub then floated down didn’t end up having one after that but the bathroom was very clean and tidy so can’t really complain to much

I had to travel on Christmas Eve and spent Christmas Day alone this year. The location was near the Auckland International Airport. There's a shuttle (Yellow bus) between the airport and the hotel, including Sudima. It is very convenient to travel from the airport to the hotel. The ticket is NZD 8.50. When I arrived on Christmas Eve, the staff at the reception were very friendly, offering gingerbread man cookies and chocolates. I am not someone who usually celebrates Christmas, but their hospitality made me feel the festive atmosphere and welcomed. The room was clean and tidy. I dined at the hotel restaurant for both lunch and dinner, and the food was delicious. They were also accommodating and friendly towards guests with different dietary requests.

It was mentioned that there's an Alexa to use, which I was quite excited to discover upon my arrival. However, I soon realised that it didn't work for an unknown reason, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, not every socket in the room was functioning. Since it was Christmas, I didn't want to bother the hotel staff to check. Still, I must admit it was a bit inconvenient.

We recently stayed at the Sudima. The location is perfect, just minutes' drive from the airport, which makes it extremely convenient for anyone who has an early morning flight to catch. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The bathroom was also clean and well-maintained with fresh towels and toiletries provided. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a good experience, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay near the airport.

We had a great stay in the hotel, the pool is a nice thing to have and we had a great night at the special South-east-Asian food festival. Our daughter loved then stay in the hotel. Also the rooms were very clean and well equipped. We came back here the second time because we liked our previous stay here already.

This is not really the hotel, but the bus shuttle is a bit cumbersome with the booking and finding it. It also takes very long time for all passengers to enter with the tickets getting checked and the way how the storage facility for luggage on board of the bus works. It also seems the luggage is not secured safely as pieces of luggage fly around in the bus and hit passengers. The cost is also quite high for 5 minutes travel, I would use a taxi next time.

Great location. Easy bus transport to the airport. Everything in one location which was good for a layover trip. Rooms were clean and fresh. Overall staff were kind and helpful. The food was delicious. The pool was great to have on site and warm.

A couple of few things. Acknowledging guests on arrival despite being on the phone as there was no-one else in the area. A simple eye contact and a smile to acknowledge that they are aware you are there would have been nice. Having to walk across the reception in front of everyone to get to the pool was awkward. Returned late after the doors locked and had to wait to be let in by staff. There was a large group of guests at the reception desk and we had to wait outside in the cold to be let in, this should be car swipe if you are a guest.

The location was great, staff extreme helpful and made sure that once they realised we were all family they put us in rooms close to each other. They facilitated our family meetings in the bars area and were always looking after our welfare. Breakfast was an extremely good start to the day and everyone from 1 -80 years of age was catered for. Would go there again when in Auckland.

Staff are very friendly and well trained so nothing that I didn’t like! Manager to be congratulated on running such a smooth operation.
