Once I realised that the included breakfast was no longer applicable and changed my booking to a cheaper room, I was very happy with where we stayed. It was an easy shuttle to the airport the next morning and had a few shops and restaurants nearby. Nice area downstairs to sit and eat if you wanted to. Complimentary coffee machine or selection of teas available. The rooms are small but perfect for one night before heading to the airport.

Hotel is still being advertised with included breakfast option which equates to $25 each. We were told just before arrival that they don't have a breakfast cooked onsite but we could have a voucher to be used at the local restaurant. I was not happy with this and cancelled the room we had booked and rebooked a cheaper option. We chose to eat elsewhere.

I liked the location as it was close to the airport and perfect for a "no rush" short trip to your flight. It beats the uncertainty of the morning peak hour traffic. I liked that it's across the road from the supermarket, and that was convenient for food and snacks. Furthermore, there were other shops where you could find things you had forgotten. Also, right across the shopping center carpark, were fast food stores if you wanted to partake. There were also restaurants close by. In all, l think the location is excellent as regards the airport, as we're the stores. There is a bus to both the international and internal airports. Cost was cheap.

The location is very convenient; it's a 20-minute walk from the airport or you can take the paid yellow bus (one way ticket is NZD 8 per person if bought from the airport ticket machine, NZD 6 per person if bought from the ibis hotel lobby). 2. There is a public area next to the lobby equipped with a microwave, cold water dispenser, hot water dispenser, cutlery, plates, and a free coffee machine (offering black coffee, mocha, flat white, latte, hot chocolate, and hot milk). 3. The hotel staff are very friendly and patient. 4. There's a supermarket right next to the hotel, making shopping very convenient. 5. The room is small but very clean, making it suitable for short stays.

1. The soundproofing is poor; you can hear noises from the hallway or adjacent rooms, so it's easier to sleep if you bring earplugs. 2. Both the room and bathroom are small. The shower room can accommodate an average-sized woman of 160cm, but an average-sized man of 180cm might frequently touch the walls of the shower room.

the rooms are small, but when you're by yourself it's the perfect place to relax, freshen up and repack if you have a flight the next day.

In the 3 person rooms you have 2 beds on the ground and 1 bunk on top. In some of the rooms the bottom beds are 2 single beds instead of 1 double bed. in this case there is a small shelf screwed into the wall between the 2 single beds, which prevents you from pushing the 2 single beds together. It would have been better if that shelf wasn't there or if it was easily removable, so you can simply push the beds together. I was by myself, so it would have been nice to turn the 2 single beds into 1 double bed. The shelf prevented me from doing that unfortunately.

Helpful staff, thanks for the wake up knock. The hot chocolate, peppermint tea and biscuits were a welcome bonus when I arrived early morning. The bed and bedding were very comfortble as was the hot shower with great water pressure.

Guests were arriving and departing often, not all were considerate to people sleeping even though there were reminder signs up. To the lady with the loud voice talking on her phone for 20 mins at the elevator at 5 am, even though my room was way down the hall, you woke me up. I will never forget your voice or your conversation

We are very impressed! This hotel has it down pat - very comfortable room for a couple with sparkling clean bath and linens and good airflow. Desk staff is wonderful - did an exceptional job both times we stayed at the Ibis. Space in the room is tight, but the bed was very comfortable, and that's more the European/Asian travel style and it's absolutely fine. A bit of breakies is offered. It would be helpful to have a sign giving the location of the coffee shop in the same building around the corner. The employee we asked was unable to give us clear directions on that.

Transportantion from nearby airport to hotel is confusing. From the hotel to airport is fine, but hotel instructions need to pinpoint the location of the Yellow Bus, which runs for most of the day approximately each 1/2 hour. We dragged our suitcases all around the perimeter of the airport late at night trying to find the bus, and we asked many people along the way for the location and no one seemed to know. Finally we found it after more than 45 minutes. The hotel sends instructions, but with airport construction and lack of signage, the instructions are unclear. Please provide pinpoint instructions to newcomers. Thank you!

Considering the proximity to the international terminal, this accommodation is great value for money. There are multiple quick and easy food options nearby, including a supermarket and also an outlet centre. There's also a cheap transit bus you catch right out the front to get to the airport the next day. It is of course a very small room, but we knew it would be so were under no illusion of a spacious room when we checked in. Bathroom was small too but clean and good shower pressure as well.

The bunk beds were quite firm, but the kids seemed to manage fine.

Close to airport. Easy and comfortable

When they organize a taxi it seems that they either use the more expensive taxis or they get a cut and the taxi charges more. Apparently taxis charge a flat rate and we were not made aware of this. When we mentioned to someone else what we paid they shook their head and said we paid nearly double and they said that the hotel should know this and should have told us. Apart from that. It was excellent. The bathroom was bigger than expected too.

This is a budget hotel within walking distance of the Auckland Airport domestic and international terminals, but there is also a relatively inexpensive shuttle bus available. The hotel provided details of this after I confirmed my booking. The reception is staffed 24hrs/day, and there were no issues getting me to my room. I arrived rather late, and was upgraded, although I wasn't really there long enough to appreciate the extra room. Overall, everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly, the staff I dealt with were pleasant, quick and efficient about their work, and helpful with the couple of questions that I did have. The room was simple, clean, tidy and the bed comfortable. Having coffee available in the reception area while waiting for the shuttle bus was really appreciated.

There aren't any particular issues that come to mind.

It's an airport hotel, so let's face it, the main thing is that it's conveniently near the airport and can handle guests arriving and leaving at all sorts of odd hours. Our midnight checkin with seamless, and the staff at the desk were friendly and kind. So, mission accomplished. It's close enough to walk to the international terminal if you have small rolling luggage (about 1 km). The shuttle costs NZ$6 per person. And there are a few cafes and a big grocery store right next to it. The cost was not cheap though. Supply and demand I guess, but it was a tiny room for the price.

Tiny room for the price. Not that I need a big room in an airport hotel, but there was a bit of sticker shock at checkin, to be honest.
