The motel room was well maintained and spotlessly clean with a kitchenette. As I arrived after shops were closed, I thought I would be able to get breakfast delivered to my room in accordance with the motel information. Sadly, this was not the case as there was a supplier issue.

No alternate option for breakfast. Information on the motel states that breakfast can be delivered to the room if ordered by 9pm. This was not the case as apparently there was a supplier issue. As the room has a kitchenette, I thought it would be possible in the morning to buy something at a local grocery store or go to a cafe. Sadly, this motel is not on a public transport route and there was nothing other than a small bakery in the neighbourhood. Luckily, their stocks were plentiful and a bun & coffee had to suffice as I needed to be ready for an early appointment. Perhaps the motel owner could have purchased some small packets of cereal or bread etc for toast for guests until the supplier issue was solved.

Spacious room, with lovely bathroom and functional, well-stocked kitchen. The shower had good pressure, and the facilities were very clean. Lovely, peaceful locations, with restaurants within walking distance.

The bed was ok, but the mattress felt like it was a bit old and probably needed replacing. No wi-fi included in the price!! It needed to be paid for additionally and it was expensive. The price of the room was not cheap enough to justify this extra cost. In this day and age, and for what we paid, wi-fi should absolutely be included.

The staff at entry were efficient & friendly with the info you needed... then they left you alone, giving you total privacy. The room was a large size with a massive spa bath, exceptionally clean. There were other guests, but I never heard them. Beautiful large windows encased in light trees, woken to the sound of Tui singing. They gave us plenty of coffee/tea. We went out, and on our return, the entire room had been cleaned. When in the Motel room, you felt like you were at home. The free carpark was a quick walk to a lift, then down to a large underground carground. Nice big TV and great kitchen facilities. We were very impressed, and such a small cost. They had considered the smaller details. We will be back.

The main bed was a double size, not Queen. A little small.

Location was good. 11 - 13 mins to Wairau Valley where we were travelling to every day . Close to Albany and shops. Close to motorway ramps and easy to find. Quiet 2nd story room with a view over to Albany hill with trees (room 307) . Nice and sunny. Lovely chat with lady at reception every day

The Only disappointment is that (which I didn't notice when booking because normally standard with hotels these days) you had to purchase Wi-Fi. A bit on the nose, I say. Should be part of the price

The parking was excellent, the location was quiet and peaceful with a lovely view from the large windows. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was very useful for cooking a meal and making toast and tea. The owner and staff were very polite and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. I was very happy there was no strong fragrance from cleaners in the room.

The room was amazing. Very spacious and comfortable. Big bonus is the pool and spa area which made this stay so much more fun for Miss 7.

I would have given full stars, but the location of the pool is slightly hazardous. You have to walk through a concreted park house. When we left the pool my daughter slipped on the concrete and hurt her head. Nothing major happened, but there should be some kind of safety matting when you exit the pool area.

Check-in was easy, and the receptionist was very helpful. Under cover parking was easy to access. The room was a single room with a spa bath. Of good size ideal gor a couple.. Our stay was for one night, the facilities etc were ideal for this. The unit included a small but useful fridge and kitchenette. The room was a little dated but clean and good value for money.. Would stay again.

Not flashy, as noted, could not ask for much more in this price range.

Our room was roomy, comfortable and queit. Location suited our needs for a family visit, and was easy to find and central to North Shore facilities. Parking was undercover and the lift handy to parking.

We stayed twice in this motel. Our first stay, the room 310 was poor - overlooking the Korean BBQ restuarant, and the furnishing and room smelled of that.. The shower door didn't close properly. The view was poor, looking into the kitchen of the retaurant in the next builiding. We thought we'd made a bad choice. However, the location suited us, so we rebooked for the following weekend when we returnd to Auckland but asked for a room at the rear at the end of the building away from the restaurant - we were allocated 307. This was excellent and we changed our minds about this motel. This room had a nice outook over the hills and bushland, and was roomier. When we need to return to the area to visit family, we will rebook here, but be careful to stipulate our room.

Very nice hotel with great staff and location. The room was tidy, had good storage, and was a nice size. The kitchenette was a good and the room had pots and pans available to use to do your own cooking. Bowls, cups, and cutlery was supplied as well. The beds were soft and warm.

The shower leaked a little so a towel had to be put on the ground to soak up the water when showering.

Very close to the venue of the event we were going to. Very clean and the shower and spa bath were spacious and lovely.

Light from outside seem to creep in through the top of the curtains but thankfully it didn’t bother us. When we checked in more information about the facilities would have been helpful like pool hours and Wi-Fi details. I had to ask about the Wi-Fi and I was only aware about the facilities from reading previous reviews.
