Amazing stay, the staff went above and beyond on our anniversary celebration and left a little cake in our room, besides upgrading us to a better view room. We were really impressed with the hospitality. The bed was super comfortable and the room very spacious and cozy. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal, lots of options and very tasty. Will definitely come back!

The pool and spa area was full of kids jumping and swimming and we couldn’t quite “relax”, even though there was a board which said that kids couldnt come on the spa without the responsible adult they weren’t respecting. We thought we would enjoy this area a bit more but it was so crowded we couldn’t.

Oh the smell was exceptional - really love that smell as soon as you walk in.....The greeting right at front, even before you walk in, was amazing...The staff was very helpful. And we were soooo very blessed with the upgrade for our Mum's 70th birthday. And every other treats that came with it...THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING IT A MEMORABLE TIME FOR US ALL. WE LOVED OUR TIME THERE AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Just the chlorine in the Pool, maybe a bit much for the kids, it turned the colour on their togs..But the kids loved it and couldn't have enought of it.

The staff , the hospitality, the restaurant were all excellent

the room we had (a Junior Suite - room 601) was tired and could use some serious loving to bring it up to a standard which equated to the room rate charged. for example the left hand door on the cabinet (under the TV in the lounge area) was off its hinges and only remained inplace because it was jammed into the gap.. all of the wardrobe doors were badly scratched by either finger nails of rings on fingers... either way the wood work was gouged by these scratches so it has been an on going problem for some time that has never been addressed. The furniture in the lounge was tired and looked like it had passed it use by date some years ago,,, if it was my hotel I would be closing this room off and putting it on the maintenance list.

The hotel foyer is just stunning. From the moment you pull into driveway it's a beautiful welcome. The front of house staff were warm friendly and very welcoming. BUT our highlight and favourite thing about our 3 nights was the amazing bar lady, Yiinze ,(Blake). Her bubbly friendly energetic personality blew us away. Then she designed a cocktail that we got to savour... She went over and above with our service and surprised us each night with a new cocktail. She is super amazing and couldn't praise her enough. I will most definitely be back in the hope she is still injecting her charm into the bar. Thank you Yiinze for making our stay even more memorable 🍸🍹

The pool/spa and sauna hours, I wish they were open a little later.Amazing facility up by the pool tho.

I loved it here. The staff was so exceptionally nice and kind and caring. The receptionist was so very accommodating when we checked in and went above my expectations after a grueling 20 hour flight. The valet service was supreme...the gentleman unloaded all our luggage and brought it up to the room and when we left he came to get it all and pulled our car out of the garage completely loaded. I know this may be expected from some people, but for me (a fairly new widow) this was wonderful! When we checked out the girl made me feel like family. I will always recommend this hotel and from now on I am a faithful Marriott user!

Well...I think the heated pool was a tad bit chilly for winter. But the hot tub was lovely and my little grandson loved the gym.

We really liked the room provided to us on the higher floor at a quiet corner which was nice and relaxing, hotel was central to shops, restaurants and bars, etc.. to celebrate my birthday weekend and a spa, swim and sauna was a bonus towards the end of the day. Highly recommended A++ . Note breakfast wasn't included in our stay/rate but there were many options outside the hotel which was perfectly fine. Lastly the late checkout option was also a bonus.

Perhaps free parking for hotel guests, we would also suggest a later closing time for the pool/spa area like 10 or 11pm rather than 9pm which was too early since it was busy earlier on during dinner time. Otherwise, there was nothing much to fault with our stay.

Breakfast was delicious! Bath was spacious. Robes were comfy and warm. Toothbrush kit was perfect as I left mine behind I felt safer knowing that only guest could use lifts using card to access etc

The bed had a dip in it. Assuming it is quite old and visitors must sleep in that same spot. Too firm. I didn't realise the chips and mini bar items weren't complimentary.. there was no price or anything near the fridge or food basket to say otherwise. Which was quite a shock to know when I called reception, after eating a few of the items... very dissatisfied. Especially with the price being at $8 for a biscuit or a small pack of chips. Fizzy at $12. Having access to my vehicle was a hassle as I kept having to ask reception for my key when needing something in my car. Could tell the valet workers were getting a tad annoyed at the amount of times I needed to go to my car. Price for valet parking is expensive. Temperature in the hall way leading to rooms was very warm.

Location was fabulous as we could walk into town for shopping, eateries and entertainment down on the waterfront. Uber taxis in Mill Lane. We will stay there again.

We went out for 4 hours only to return to a room that had not been serviced. The housekeeping trolley was left in the hallway just along from out room of 721 for approximately an hour as I kept looking out hoping to catch the people doing the cleaning. In the end I just helped myself to 2 clean sets of linen, putting the dirty linen in the bag, and remade out bed ourselves. Was disappointing that we had to do it ourselves as we were on holiday.

Wasn't sure what to expect - recently changed branding from Stamford to Marriott - but classy - close to the cruise terminal, close to shopping, close to harbour precinct - also had to return our hire car and this was an easy walk back to the Marriott - loved the spaciousness of the room we had, I'd imagine others would be the same - staff were accommodating. Breakfasts were by far the popular time for the restaurant.

Didn't seem to do a lot of evening meals and this is where we struck some issues - plenty of staff but service was slow - countered by the delicious meal we had.

Cleanliness and comfort of rooms. Nice soaps in bathroom. Location. Friendliness of staff.

We didn’t use bar or restaurant due to timings (early departure) and not an area that we were drawn to. The sheets wrapped round a duvet creates an untucked mess for restless sleepers. A proper duvet cover would be more homelike and comfortable. Small pool in gym area. We found alternatives in the area for a proper swim.
