The hotel was great! Staff was amazing and very friendly and helpful. The room was quite large and had the benefit of washer and dryer which was nice since we had been on vacation for the last 6 days. Front desk was so helpful we needed some things printed for our cruise and they helped us out. The included breakfast was lovely at giraffe Cafe. And there are so many food outlets rt outside outside door. Perfect for our cruise b3cause we could walk to the port which made things so easy. The gym facility is across the street it's 4$ us. Worth it. Clean and had everything.

The Sebel is in a fantastic location surrounded by restaurants, bars and tourist activities. The access to the harbour is very convenient. The view from our room was awesome though we did have to upgrade to get this. The bed and pillows were very comfy, Nice amenities and a bath which was great. The easy check in and out and the helpful friendly staff made this a good choice for us. Very clean and modern reception areas. Parking available at a first come first served basis and at a cost.
A couple of things that could be improved......with the upgrade, robes would have been nice. Overall the rooms were dated, cracked tiles in the kitchen and old furniture. The price did not reflect the condition the rooms were in.

The view was outstanding of the Marina and Harbour from our Marina View suite 508. Yes it’s noisy with the club downstairs as we stayed on Saturday night. I read the reviews so knew to have our white noise app on high. The beds were comfy but pillows a little soft. Just popped 2 together and all sorted. The staff at midnight check in were excellent as were all on the desk. Special thanks to Renzyl at the front desk for organising our Super Shuttle pickup times. Greatly appreciated. Would definately recommend as a place to stay.
A couple of small fixes on kitchen cupboard wouldn’t go astray and a few cushions for the lounge areas. Otherwise loved our stay.

My husband and I where in Auckland for a medical procedure. My husband's surgery went well and he was discharged a day earlier than expected. When I checked out I never mentioned why I was leaving early yet the lovely young lady at the desk asked me why and then said she would ask the reservations team to consider a refund for the 3rd nights accommodation. I thanked her and left. By the time I fetched my husband and arrived back in Cambridge the refund was showing on my credit card. Wow ! Thank you for your outstanding customer service it is much appreciated.

I stay here all the time - great location, big rooms, clean and tidy
This is the first time I’ve been kept up with music from the bar downstairs until 3am (I’m thinking It must only be because I was on level one this time because I hadn’t heard it in the past … or maybe it’s only Saturday nights) but honestly that’s what happens in the cbd so I’m not complaining - just something to keep in mind if you do need silence to sleep 🤣🤣

It was a great location. The room looked over the marina at the viaduct and you could also see the harbor bridge from the room. The room itself had everything you needed and was very clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable and it also had a large bathroom. It is now my favorite place to stay in Auckland.
The only thing that wasn't so great was the noise from the bars. That didn't stop until around 1am. However, that is something you have to expect if you want to stay around the viaduct area.

Very centrally located on the viaduct harbour. Walk down directly to fabulous restaurants and all Auckland has to offer. Beautiful view, great apartment, spacious, full amenities.
We had balcony rooms which was great, but they did warn us (on checking in only) that it may be noisy on the weekend. There are nightclubs around, so the music noise was constant until early morning, even with our doors and windows closed. The apartments could do with a redo, carpet stained etc. but still serviceable.

When we arrived I realised I wanted to have a bigger balcony. I had booked the wrong room. The hotel was amazing and sorted another room for us. Could not have need happier with the outcome.
The initial advert for the room said balcony. Yet it was a tiny area for one person to stand. My husband and I wanted to sit together on a balcony. Thankfully this was sorted so quickly.

Location was perfect, walking distance to Britomart and where to catch ferry, by the viaduct so beautiful view. walking distance to silo park which is a bonus when staying with kids. pool opposite hotel can be used.
I wish the beds were bigger but was told they have queen sized beds in all rooms. otherwise they were very comfortable. wish there was more car parking space and wish there was a buffet breakfast

Location was great with fantastic views We originally booked this for me and my wife a long weekend away, we ended up bringing our 7 year old granddaughter, on leaving, the staff noticed our granddaughter had a teddy and they gave her another one from the hotel we also had an early check in
On Saturday night, there was a band playing in a bar below the hotel, but it did stop before 11pm This was a very minor issue
