nice lounge kitchen bathroom good view. plenty of utensils/wine glasses. nice to have proper freezer and not just ice tray that arnt to good with ice blocks. nice furnishings. nice internal rock pools and calcony views to 3rd floor. good handy parking knowing vechile is resonably safe during stay.

some parts of interior beginning to show age repair work walls tiles etc. thats to be expeced with time. some guests dont respect other peoples property. you always get a few bad eggs. no fresh air in bedroom with internal situation. but can leave sliders open for fresh air so not a problem. but would add to noise of people in town and wind. wind noisy on corner unit nor wester etc especially high floors.

The location fully met our expectation of proximity to city locations of interest

Nothing of any great significance disappointed. Staff reacted promptly to a reported car park hazard - leaking water on concrete causing slippage problem - a definite plus. Staff where proactively helpful in obtaining a restaurant booking. In the suite, the only identified minor deficiency was instructions for the 'less-than-intuitive' on using the cook=top, but did manage to resolve the issue in 5-10 minutes. Perhaps simple printed instruction on rear wall could help.

Location was unbeatable, a bus stop right accross the street, the casino, convenience stores, coffee shops, Victoria Park, and Riverside all within a walking distance. The kitchen is also very convenient, with all main appliances. The bed was FANTASTIC.

The carpets... it's hard to point out flaws on a hospitality place after such a big hit. I'm happy they've survived the downtime since 2020, I will be coming back, but the carpet needs an upgrade.

We had an excellent stay right across the street from the venue of the show we went to. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was far above what we expected for the price. A complete 1 bd apartment with full size fridge and washing machine, as well as plenty of outlets everywhere, but especially in the bedroom where we tend to charge our devices as we use them at night. Plenty of room in the bathroom. The soundproofing was the best of any hotel we have ever been to! Quite a few outside drinkers on the floor below - we didn't hear a peep. We would stay here again any time. I'm usually fussy about missing our super soft mattress due to hips and knees, but I slept just fine in the hotel's bed. Honestly, can't say enough about how great it was, and the city centre was so much fun! Also recommend Venuti, right around the corner. We stayed two nights.

Stinky hot summer day without a fan, but typical in nz, especially where the weather is typically chillier. (have experienced the same in Auckland and Taupo.) We opened all the windows and let the breeze blow through, and it wasn't too bad, considering the day had been 30c. Like many hotels in NZ, a regular outlet in the bathroom or directly next to a mirror would be beneficial. I managed with the one the heater was plugged into. I don't really have anything negative to say, and am nitpicking for a complete picture.

The location was about a 10 minute walk to restaurants and hop on tram. The room seemed to have been remodeled recently with a good-sized kitchen, living and dining area. All staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Some parts of the bathroom needed some attention - light switches were dirty, paint peeling. The in-room safe wasn't working and couldn't be repaired on a weekend.

Staff was excellent ! It was public holidays for the whole of the time we stayed there with no room services, but we worked together with the staff to sort out. We had a very comfortable apartment with kitchenette, living, dining, and sleeping area with on suite bathroom. It was spacious, had a balcony and all necessities one needs. Parking was easy and had good spaces.

parking a bit difficult due to allocated parking bay located in the corner with pillar furniture a bit outdated when the guests besides our room were chatting in the corridor between our room, it was so noisy and annoying at some point especially when they arrived after 9 pm. But when they were already inside the room, everything was fine.

Ideally located to arrive by car and then access the city centre and the park area. Room was very spacious, clean and very comfortable with very good kitchen facilities

No-one on reception when we arrived and took a while to find someone to check us in. Under cover parking on site but charged NZD10 per night. The 'food and beverages' outlet at the hotel was closed Sunday to Wednesday

Comfortable bed, living area was spacious and the TV had a few channels. Good sized dining table with plenty of chairs. The kitchen facilities were very good. Having a washing machine, toaster, microwave, ff and hob were a great bonus. you could happily stay there for several weeks if needed. The staff were friendly.

The inside of the building could do with some modernising. The bathroom was a bit small and the shower head sprayed beyond the bath onto the floor, it needs replacing. The couch had a bit of a stale smell and the hand wash provided in the bathroom was horrible.

Very spacious 2 bedroom apartments - perfect for our large group to spread out and relax. Rooms were clean and tidy Beds were comfy. The location is superb very handy to central city. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, will be recommending this property for people visiting Christchurch.

There was a "smoky" smell in the atrium area, one assumes guests were smoking or vaping in this area, and this is out of the control of the staff, so whilst I didnt like it. This is not a failing of the property. Some guests are simply inconsiderate.
