Loved the location on edge of Cranmer Square - gave pleasant outlook from rooms on the courtyard side. Is only a 5-10 min walk to town centre and much closer to Hagley Park and the Arts Centre. Room was spacious and balcony was a delight. In-house Polo bar and restaurant had delicious food. Complementary arrival drink and e-bike hire was wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

We did get some noise from the Polo bar below and from the people outside (from 6.30 up till about 10 pm). If you are a light sleeper,or very noise-sensitive you might want to go for an upper storey ( we were on level 1) or the other end/side of the building. However, the suites above the bar and on the courtyard side/end have the nicest views, so it is a trade-off!

Lovely boutique hotel which offers personalised service. We got upgraded to a junior suite which was an additional bonus. The bed was extremely comfortable giving a perfect nights sleep - the No1 priority in our book. The staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel offers onsite car parking and is well positioned, close to the centre of the city and its many facilities. Great place to stay.

We would have preferred more hanging space for clothing and the wardrobe system wasn’t able to accommodate our suitcases, as designed. Small point, but annoying to have suitcases littering the available floor space. Apart from that, all was perfect.

Very comfortable hotel (bed was super luxe), not far from the park and close by to the city - large room with lounge area and balcony overlooking the road. Great that we were able to bring Bro, our dog, although she left wet paw prints on the tiles in the lobby when we checked in, but staff cleaned this up within seconds!

Rooms at the rear (over looking the rear garden and car park) would probably be the best to request if you want a quiet room - the traffic at the front of the hotel can be noisy, especially if you're not used to hearing it!

The staff were always pleased to assist us with our requests. They helped make our stay more memorable. The food at the restaurant was excellent, location for access to the city centre was ideal. It was also great to be given a free drink voucher for the bar. We don't usually take our dog on trips, but we thought we would give it a go because they are pet friendly. This facility was also excellent and right near a couple of parks. We will be back

We were stranded in NZ on our way to Tahiti during the floods however this Hotel was a blessing and a great stopover. The beds were so comfortable and the shower excellent after the long delay we had due to the cancellation of international flights. We were so comfortable that we stayed in our room for the entire time we were stranded. The room was clean and had decent blockout curtains. checkout was easy. It’s a little noisy at times with the bar downstairs but we still managed to get quality sleep due to the comfort of the beds.

The staff are all discretely helpful. Nothing is too much for them. The room (Junior Suite) large with a very comfortable bed and plenty of seating options (lounge, armchairs with footrest, outside seating). The room is quiet and there is plenty of wardrobe space. We hit the ground running here - after checking in, using the complimentary eBikes to ride through Hagley Park and sightsee. Then a fabulous dinner (Saturday) at the restaurant. And on to a dreamy sleep in the most comfortable bed!

We had a fabulous stay and wished we had booked in for a week instead of 2 nights!

Location was nice to be in the middle of town the beds felt like clouds. Lovely heated floor in the bathroom Chef food was amazing so many flavours Got a free drink when we arrived

we could see that the kitchen wasn’t clean finger prints on the microwave and cupboards. Lack of communication between staff I asked for meat balls to be in the room at 2.45 and it didn’t come and also they said they would park the car and they didn’t. And they said we could check out at 2pm but got asked to leave at 1pm But it was a beautiful hotel and we would stay there again

Nicely appointed room and comfortable bed. Great to have a balcony to sit on. We stayed here because of a special reunion dinner held in the restaurant- very convenient

No compendium found in the room so had no idea how to use the coffee machine or how to get anything other than free view TV in the room. Also had to ask for receipt to be sent by email once home even though it was promised. Should be able to check bill on site before checking out. This was not offered and we were charged for a mini bar item we did not use..

The room facilities were great and the guy on reception was super helpful.

The breakfast. Bread that was too small for the toaster. Keeps getting stuck. Toast for eggs Benedict that looks good but is smaller than an egg.

Friendly staff and great location. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Didn't have breakfast but dined in the Restaurant and the menu and food quality was good. Generous, complimentary private parking was extremely useful and would certainly stay here again.
