Staff at all levels were professional and very helpful. Warm towel rails were a bonus. Spacious bathroom and plenty of soft, quality linen. All areas were clean and well maintained. Plenty of hanging space. Walking distance to many food outlets and close to main bus interchange. Cooking/warming facilities more than adequate. Rooms serviced daily. Shower has good pressure and easy control. Very quiet considering the amount of construction going on in the area.

The accommodation is set up more for short stays, than long stays. There are no drawers available to unpack personal items. The bedside lamps are too low for reading purposes with the switches difficult to operate at near ground level. There is no hook to hold hair dryer on the vanity and no soap dish in shower.

Location very good. Very near to the City centre. Even a tram stop about 100 mtr away. The Riverside Market is a walk of about 15 minutes. The Botanic Gardens walk about 20 minutes. We are from India. The nearby Bombay Bazaar was a big help. A 100 mtr away only. Very clean. Excellent housekeeping. We got housekeeping keeping service on a Sunday even. Very courteous staff. Nothing bad. All as expected. Our room was a bit small. But it is OK. The one bedroom apartment would have been a good option. Comfortable stay.

The location is good but surrounded by quite a bit of construction. It was very easy to move around. We told the counter staff about the beds being very saggy and we couldn't rest well. If the beds/mattress is replaced, then really there is nothing to complain about. The service is excellent and we really appreciate the gentleman at the counter for helping us bring our heavy luggage boxes to our car as I hurt my leg and couldn't manage. We forgot his name but he was professional and very kind. We want to appreciate him.

somehow the reception didn't follow up with our request to have the towels changed on the last day. We reached after 7pm and couldn't get into the the reception (even after calling for help over the remote system) until one of the guest was making her way out of the property and opened the door for us. The room is rather noisy with the ventilation system turned on without an option for us to turn it off.

Excellent reception when we arrived to drop bags off (lady finished at 12). Was helpful and cheerful. Good parking. Nice clean room and shower. Good access off road system. Very nice restaurant The Monday Room around 200 metres away. Recommend

Room had only one window and that was high enough you could only see the top of buildings. Location a little way from shops. If it is raining you will get wet going anywhere. You need to remember to turn right when you leave the site - its one way. Perhaps a sigh by the entrance could help

Great place to stay right in the centre of Christchurch. We arrived on Christmas Eve and James and staff were really helpful with taking a grocery delivery for us before we arrived and put it in our room and even in the fridge, so that we had food for Christmas day. Above and beyond service. Large apartment and heaps of space. Well equiped. Air Conditioning was good to have but fans in the bedrooms would have been good also.

No fans in the rooms and we couldn't open windows to get fresh air. Not really specific to this property but seems to be in general throughout New Zealand.

Fantastic location, short walk to the city centre, lots of great places to eat nearby. Clean, comfortable, great to have kitchen facilities. Friendly staff.

One tiny thing, we stayed in a studio apartment suitable for wheelchair access. Both of us have back issues, and in these apartments, the bathrooms have nowhere to put your shampoo/soap etc, so ironically, it made it harder for us as we had to put things on the floor in the shower! First world problem though, really!

Our checkin after hours was easy and checkout was the same. We only saw a couple of staff our whole stay but they always said hello and were friendly. Room was great value for money and close to city attractions, woolworths is close by too. The kitchenette was really good and handy to have. There was always a car park for us. We did 1 load of washing which was easy to use.

Parking at the hotel is convenient, and even though there's construction at the stadium across the street, the room was still very quiet. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a washer and dryer that were easy to use. The staff were very friendly. For meals, it's just a five-minute walk to several restaurants across the street, and you can reach the main attractions in about six or seven minutes on foot.

Close to bus station which we used a lot. Lots of cafe's, restaurants and movies nearby. Generally, the location was quite central but of course Christchurch is still in recovery mode after the quake so the city is quiet and a bit "open plan" until more buildings are replaced.

Not much. Rooms are a bit on the small side but not a problem for us as we travel light. Will be a busy place when the rugby ground being built opposite is finished. There are basically no shared areas except the small foyer with a vending machine.
