Great place to stay right in the centre of Christchurch. We arrived on Christmas Eve and James and staff were really helpful with taking a grocery delivery for us before we arrived and put it in our room and even in the fridge, so that we had food for Christmas day. Above and beyond service. Large apartment and heaps of space. Well equiped. Air Conditioning was good to have but fans in the bedrooms would have been good also.

No fans in the rooms and we couldn't open windows to get fresh air. Not really specific to this property but seems to be in general throughout New Zealand.

Fantastic location, short walk to the city centre, lots of great places to eat nearby. Clean, comfortable, great to have kitchen facilities. Friendly staff.

One tiny thing, we stayed in a studio apartment suitable for wheelchair access. Both of us have back issues, and in these apartments, the bathrooms have nowhere to put your shampoo/soap etc, so ironically, it made it harder for us as we had to put things on the floor in the shower! First world problem though, really!

Close to bus station which we used a lot. Lots of cafe's, restaurants and movies nearby. Generally, the location was quite central but of course Christchurch is still in recovery mode after the quake so the city is quiet and a bit "open plan" until more buildings are replaced.

Not much. Rooms are a bit on the small side but not a problem for us as we travel light. Will be a busy place when the rugby ground being built opposite is finished. There are basically no shared areas except the small foyer with a vending machine.

Comfortable modern room in the SALT district of Christchurch. Besides 20 odd cafes & restaurants in surrounding area, the hotel was only 12 minutes walk to the centre of Christchurch & 15 minutes walk to a series of bars & restaurants along the river. Another aspect of the hotel is that it's a post-earthquake construction (2015 we were told) incorporating earthquake suppressing design & fittings ... when you see the amount of devastation caused by the 2011 earthquake, you can appreciate the value of this. Also, our room had a modern washer & dryer (plus ironing board & iron) which was particularly useful for us given we were midway thru a 2 week trip.

Smallish TV by today's standards and sofa wasn't great. My wife felt the hotel looked a bit sterile & needed more colour, paintings, etc

Well equipped apartment and free car parking onsite. Everything modern and clean. Helpful staff. Our suite was 4th floor with good views. Good location in CBD. Right next to new stadium (if that’s your thing). Would stay again.

Dependent on A/C, can’t open the windows (not unusual outside of NZ these days). Bed has a bolster at wall which I wish I had realised I could remove as I am taller and it shortened the mattress :-) see photo.

Shower large and spacious. Decent pressure. Room large. Bed super comfy and large we felt or it could have been our red eye flight haha. Parking was surprisingly good for the time we were there thankfully , given some reviews mention it fills up.

They didn't have any complimentary water bottles. That was about the only thing we noticed. Otherwise all other amenities were there. We just boiled water but even the typical water bottle per person would have been handy.

Front of house staff were friendly, both the lady and the man in the morning. The Lady kindly suggested activities and provided me a map, as she spotted I was a Chch newbie. Washing machine is...very loud, kind of caught us off guard but it does the job well and we were really stoked to get a fully serviced apartment. Also the cleaning team are really fantastic and very friendly, always smiling and providing us with what we needed when we needed it. Car park spacing gets a bit tight at night, so get in early and save your spot as on street parking is non-existent it seems in Chch. Then just walk around the city, it's basically 5 mins from the best bits of Chch anyway. Bed is comfy, decor is a bit old fashioned but who cares, it's all really clean, looks nice and new. Highly recommend staying here.

Loud washing machine, bit dusty behind the bedside lamps, I had to plug in something next to my bed and felt like it's probably been a bit ignored in cleaning. Not the end of the world, we enjoyed our stay regardless and thought everything was pretty good.

Great location, only 2 min walk to restaurants, bars, attractions. the rooms we’re comfortable. my only room complaint would be that we only had a very small tv in the lounge room, but not one in bedroom… since my sons bed was in the lounge we weren’t able to lay in bed and relax watching a show or 2 after he went to sleep. (just a small little complaint) Having the laundry in room was game changer!! Loved it! Honestly, the Staff made the whole stay better… they were all so cool, so willing to help, and go above and beyond to make our stay better. I can’t say enough on how awesome they were! That alone is everything. We won’t stay anywhere else when we come back to Christchurch. Thank you Ramada!

Spacious room, accommodating staff with getting our room ready early on 2nd night when we had to shift from studio to two bedroom with more in our group. Offered late check out, handy location close to some amazing restaurants and bars. Will be a prime spot when the stadium is finished

Key card didn't work when we arrived after reception was closed, had clear after hours self check in instructions BUT key card didn't get us into our room due to a coding error. Emergency contact slow to answer but once answered, response was quick with after hours duty manager there in 5 minutes. Windows in our two bedroom unit too high offering no views unless you're 7 foot tall. Strange closed in deck with window too high to see anything. Felt very enclosed

We liked the fact that it was central to all amenities. The rooms were clean and quiet. We were on the 5th floor and it felt very homely. It had free parking although, somewhat limited but there was parking just in front of the hotel. We booked it way in advance so it was relatively affordable. The room sizes were good size.

The shower pressure was relatively weaker than expected. Although very minor and trivial, it had no shower caps. The couch in the lounge was old... I reckon if they replace it, it will lift the overall experience
