Central location and small quiet boutique environment with a carpark was what we were looking for and exactly as we wanted for a long weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday. Very much lived up to expectations and would definitely use again although noted that the carpark had been sold so would be careful of that

Very clean and tidy and quiet but in same ways showing its age. Toilet clean but a bit stained on bottom, same as sealant around the sink plug hole. Toilet too close to sink - could sit and rest arms on basin. Fridge setting too cold and froze drink bottles solid. Terrible reception for TV when raining. For 1.5 days we mostly had ‘No signal’ on screen so had to give up.

Hotel 115 was a perfect location in the heart of the city. It was clean, had a comfortable bed and desk (perfect for anyone travelling for working) and was very close to excellent restaurants, cafes and attractions (including the quaint trams and funky New Regent Street). It was also quiet at night and hence perfect for a good nights rest. I arrived after midnight and the late night check in worked perfectly. I would strongly recommend this to visitors and would stay there again.

Room was small, but very cute. Location great, close to everything in the central city. The view was amazing. We enjoyed watching the hustle and bustle from the balcony, and the tram driving right underneath us.

The bed was uncomfortable, but assume only because it's different to what we are used to. Our only real complaint was there was no air conditioning. The room was mid to high 20 degrees when we entered. We had to buy a fan and keep doors and windows open our entire stay. This room would be lovely in winter.

I liked that we were central, right next to the little mall, great shops in the mall, watching the tram was good, seeing the rebuilding of the city amazing.

I didn't like that I felt unsafe in the mall, I had to do our washing down the street, in the laundrymat, I was warned not to leave my washing alone as the homeless that hang around, would take it.. I didn't like that the homeless, not their fault that they are homeless, were more or less stalking tourists, walking through where the tram stops all day long, I also didn't like that there was a drugged up girl walking through the mall, screaming at everybody and all the people who worked in the shops knew who she was and called security, who didn't get there in time, while she was there.

Room was upgraded which was good. clean, well serviced daily and had a nice living room area in the Mayfair suite. Even the occasional tram sounds was not disturbing. I hadn’t actually realised there would be tram sounds/vibrations so was initially surprised but it was it wasn’t terribly intrusive and stopped at a reasonable time. Good heating and insulation, especially important as it was quite cold outside when I was there. Comfortable big bed.

Full size fridge in addition to the minibar fridge probably not required. Would prefer a microwave or kitchenette instead

We found this hotel through Booking.com. When I see words like quirky and photographs that show a variety of style, I am interested. Arriving at this very well located hotel we were immediately impressed with the reception staff, smiling, helpful and knowledgeable. The room we received was excellent and belied the price we paid, as did the whole experience.

I couldn't find a fault in this case. I see other reviews mentioning noise but can't say it was a problem when we were there. We only had three nights there (well two for me) and frankly more would have been better.

The Hotel was decorated with an Artd Deco style. We were able to access our room via the elevator which was convenient. The Tram stop was next to the Hotel which was pleasant a novelty and we were able to dine on the Restaurant tram which left near by and under cover. In the hotel we did not hear the tram at all.

Our rooms window had a view of the wall of adjacent building with a slight view of road and bus stop. We did not mind as we were staying only two nights and we were exploring during the day.

It was a last minute booking for a conference. I had stayed in 2 hotels prior to reaching Hotel 115. In hindsight, I would have just booked all of my accommodation with them. Pleasant considerate service, beautiful rooms with a comfy bed and pillow, high ceilings and all I would expect from a decent accommodation. Great location, character, easy check- in, understanding, comfortable, clean and modern. Oh and access to gym across the road. I highly recommend. Perhaps only suggestion is access to more TV channels. Maybe consider dropping Al Jazeera as well.

Such a quirky little hotel right above where the tram line is . Very close by to plenty good food/drink places. Plenty good cafes for breakfast on the tram alley. Lovely staff and very welcoming atmosphere when we checked in and even got a lovely room upgrade for our honeymoon stay too x

Rooms don’t have aircon you can adjust so we opted to open the windows for some cooler evening air for over night. Our room was to the roadside and it being a summer Saturday the pub/club noises from the near by places were fairly loud all the way until the early hours of the morning. So if you’re a light sleeper I’d ask a room on the tram side of hotel as the cafes and restaurants there close at a reasonable hour. Apart from that no other mentionable things you’d worry about. A very comfortable stay all in all x

Basic clean and modern room. Parking downstairs for a fee was useful. Good if you want somewhere to sleep and then get out into Christchurch on foot. Shops below are useful - café for breakfast at the door, Japanese restaurant, bottle shop, convenience store, Tram goes underneath the hotel - surprising the first time you hear it but not a problem as it stops by 8.30pm and rarely passes through. Toaster and microwave in a common area with seats. Staff were attentive.

I personally prefer a flatter pillow but the trend these days is to make them as high as possible. Of the four pillow, maybe provide some options.
