Very good sized room (with a sofa even with 2 beds) with a small balcony. The kitchenette had all the basic amenities like fridge, microwave, cups, dishes etc. At the heart of Dunedin CBD, so you can walk around and enjoy the Victorian buildings along with the shops and restaurants without thinking about taking your car. We stayed at an annex building of the motel, which from outside looks old and not well maintained. But overall, it surprised me with the facilities. Lots of parking space and the staff is really nice.

No views at all given that the property is in the CBD. No sponges to do the dishes, even though there was soap. I wish the management does revamp the property to make it more attractive. The water pressure in the shower was really low.

Rooms are huge! Tastefully decorated, and had everything we could need. Easy but secure access, very comfortable - far better than expected from the outside of the building. An inexpensive breakfast was offered daily as well. Carparking available, which meant the city was walkable. Huge bed, needed to send a search party to find each other.

Only instant coffee on offer, so we visited a local café for our coffee needs. Shower was so roomy, but could have done with a light closer - no big deal though.

Great location! Some but very minimal hills to reach the motel which make it easy to explore most parts of North Dunedin on foot everyday. About 1min walk from the Octagon to the accomodation. Attended for graduation and motel location was fairly close to the University and the Town hall. Great selection of restaurants and sight seeing locations near by. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room had all the amenities, very quiet, and serviced daily.

View from the window was just typical student-ville scenery but not a problem given purpose of our trip and the positives!

Location was great to walk in the city and free car parking to get out to the albatross and coastal areas

We were on the 4th floor , serviced by a good sized lift. My only issue which I pointed out to the management whilst complimenting them on the property was the windows had a boxed section infront of the window which if stood on was perfect for anyone including young children to fall out of . A bar was needed across the window frame . This wouldn't be permitted in the UK , more like the windows wouldn't be able to open far enough 😕

Location was excellent. Free parking. We were able to unload our car in front of our unit. Beds were comfy. Quiet even though central. We were able to have ground floor unit. We could have had a breakfast of cereal, toast with condiments, tea/coffee for NZ$6. It was big enough to move around in very easily which was nice.

Outlook and interior decor not stunning but we were out all day so didn't matter.

The people were very friendly and accommodating. I was very thankful when we arrived after a long drive from chch. Check in and out was a breeze. Room was warm and clean when we arrived. Nice and specious.

All honesty everything was great only thing that could have been better would be an updated tv so that we could watch apps like neon prime tv netflix etc. But it wasnt a major issue for us

I liked the spaciousness of the room. We loved the bathroom. The luxury bath. Closeness to town. It was good and low key. Reasonably quiet. Good parking. Manager was friendly and helpful.

Found the lighting deficient for office work and makeup in bathroom. I didn't realize we had room service so I would have been more aware of our belongings. But that was fabulous!

The motel is situated an easy walk to all the major services, shops, restaurants and many other facilities. The room was quite spacious and made very warm by staff prior to our arrival. Very grateful. The manager at reception was a wealth of knowledge and provided some great advice on eateries etc given it was a "very" quiet Public Holiday Monday. Again grateful!

Ample parking, as long as you get there early enough. About 5 minutes walk to the Octagon, restaurants and pubs. The bed was very comfy. Massive bath. The biggest I've ever seen. Very secure place to live. Includes Sky movie channels. The free Wifi was OK. We will go back there and highly recommended.

The shower pressure wasn't the best, but good enough.

Comfortable beds, surprisingly quiet, good (free) on-site parking, central location. Reception staff were very helpful. Breakfast for $6 each was excellent value. And overall, good value for money.

Nothing really. Although it looked a bit dated from the outside, the facilities were very good inside
