Free breakfast provided every morning, the staff was really helpful. The location is not far from the city.

the cleanliness could be improved. i couldn't sleep well due to the snoring sound at night.

Good spacious room with comfortable beds. The kitchen was well-equipped, and good laundry (washing & drying) facilities on site. The staff were very helpful with moving our luggage from the car into the accommodation, and when we were in a pinch due to a flat car battery, they helped us get it back up and running!

The showers are shared between all genders. There is quite a steep hill to access the property and we didn't want to risk scratching our rental car, so we parked across the street.

I liked bed linens. Soft and comfy. And bath towel was provided. The location was good with free parking on streets.

I went to the kitchen at 8AM for breaky. But I did not see bread, milk or tea etc. no guid for breakfast info at all, so not sure if there was free breakfast or not. The room had only 2 spots for electric plug for 6 ppl. If they provide an extension, would be great. And NO WIFI upstairs (the room was upstairs). I used wifi downstairs.

The owners are the nicest people and they’re so ready to help wether it’s recommendations in town or giving you a ride somewhere. The whole place feels very homey and the atmosphere is lovely. They also had a very friendly puppy which was amazing for us who misses our dogs at home.

The house itself could use a renovation but other than that the cleanliness of bathrooms, showers and kitchen was perfect.

Facilities were clean and staff were really friendly.

Booking through Booking.com gave us incorrect information as reservations said we were booking a 'room' but in fact it was a shared facility. This needs to be corrected and bookings need to be done by 'bed' allocation if in a shared space.

Enjoyed my stay. Tina, the owner, was really nice & friendly to chat with. Property is located just outside the CBD, with plenty of off street parking. Beds were comfortable. Free breakfast in the morning is a bonus. Nice TV/lounge area with Netflix. WiFi was good. Nice covered outdoor area. A home away from home

Steep driveway to get to reception. Only 2 toilets & 3 showers for the whole property.p

Was close to bus stop. Close to city center got a nice playground, park across the road close to pack and save supermarket and rhe warehouse has the best parking as it doesn't cost on the street it's safe and secure excellent wifi great kitchen and nice lounge with great dvds the rooms are cosy and warm nice showers nice and clean hostel feels like home lovely staff

The place felt very home like, it's a beautiful building with a great view, with a great location about a 4 minute walk from the bus stop which makes travelling around easy and about a 15 minute walking from the centre of dunedin

Considering how cheap the accommodation is I was pleasantly surprised by how many amenities there were.the kitchen was stocked with spices and various appliances there is a free breakfast and free towels the staff are lovely and the whole place felt very homely and friendly

It's an affordable place if you want to stay close to the center of Dunedin. Very close to the octagon. The bus is only a few minutes' walking distance.

The bunk beds will be moving and I woke up in the night whenever the person in the bottom bunk moved. But considering the price, it's still worth the money.
