Motel is a short drive from town or the beach on a quiet street. The host is super friendly and informative giving us ideas about things to do and places to eat. The motel room was a good size with a nice kitchenette and all the utensils you may require. Well stocked tea and coffee with milk supplied. An outside deck gave you the option to sit outside and enjoy the West Coast’s beautiful weather. Sky tv and a spa bath were a real treat as we do not have these at home. Shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. This well price Motel is definitely worth staying at. Easy parking outside your room.

We liked everything about this property , we wish we could have stayed longer

Travelling with our two dogs, booked last minute as weather was turning and we had previously planned to camp, great value, check in was efficient, guy was super lovely and accomodating, gave good recommendations for dinner. Perfect for somewhere to just crash for the night. Ecostore amenities and unpasteurised milk were a nice touch as extra amenities.

Shower was old and had some holes in the frame where a little spider lived. Super affordable accommodation though so kind of expected/really not a biggy.

We were able to talk to the host who was friendly and helpful. The unit was clean, quiet and comfortable. We would go back there again to stay but would make contact with the motel instead of going through a website of booking.com

We did not like the price we paid by using booking.com We could have stayed for a cheaper price if we had made contact with the motel.

The motel is in a quiet location, away from main road and railway line.

We booked a one-bedroom apartment and the photos on the website showed one bed in the living area and two beds in the bedroom. Our one-bedroom apartment did not have a bed in the living area and the sleeping arrangement was not the best for us. In future we will check with the motel owner that the photos on the website are accurate.

- after using the spa pool, the bathroom floor and wall remained wet until the morning of the next day - not much space for hanging clothes

Good, comfortable, quiet unit with all the needed facilities. I checked in on Christmas Day and received excellent instructions for a seamless experience. Off-street parking, a spacious lounge area separate to the bedroom and on-site coin-operated laundry facilities are available.

The place was amazing had everything a person could want and news, from having a fully supplied kitchen ( pots, pan, plates, exc.) To comfortable beds. This place over exceeded my expectations.

I wish check-in was a little earlier. I had a lot I still wanted to do but had to work our 0lans around the check-in.

Spacious, modern, clean & quiet 1 bedroom unit with wide parking spaces outside unit. All staff are friendly, courteous and welcoming. Big bonus is that it's a pet friendly motel. Would definitely stay again. Hokitika is far more than an overnight stay. It's a destination in it's own right! Thanks guys.

EXCELLENT STAY

Simon was so nice and accommodating when I had to make some changes in dates to my booking. He was the only host throughout my stay in NZ to give me a mini tour to the room which was a small but thoughtful gesture. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was great (even had a superb oven that we used). Showers were very clean.

Absolutely nothing

Very clean, well appointed room.

On one bed the leg fell off. The manager fixed it temporarily and it held. The pillows were too high for a sagging mattress so I found it hard to sleep on the single. The queen was much better.
