Plenty of offstreet parking and close to the room. Decent sized room with jug, milk and coffee supplies. Bathroom was a nice size. Comfortable bed. There were bath robes provided but we didn't get the chance to use them. The real highlight was the private balcony.

I covered the microwave with a shirt as the numbers were bright and I like total darkness for sleeping. Could hear other guests talking/coughing and TV echo because we were down a internal hallway which was a sound trap. They were not being noisy intentionally however. I'm guessing the price was only steep because it's the holiday season and we only booked as we had a concert in kerikeri that night as wouldn't spend $280 on a room usually. Have stayed here before and paid about $150

The pool was terrific. The room and bed were excellent and the bathroom pristine. Pool robes were in the cupboard, along with an umbrella which we did use when it rained. It was an easy walk to the town for a bite to eat and also to the local Countdown supermarket. The parkings spaces are nice and roomy and although the complex is quite large there is a feeling of privacy for the single rooms and the apartments. The gardens are beautiful and well looked after.

The only thing I didn't like was dull drum beats until 1am from the Bar and Bistro next door but it was Saturday night (in our two night stay). My husband didn't notice anything but he had run a half marathon... I will carry ear plugs with me in future. I am already planning to return next February when I'm going up to Cape Reinga with friends.

The pool area is absolutely lovely, the location is walking distance to town and they’ve done a lovely job of making each unit feel quite private despite having rooms side by side. The facilities provided in the room (such as plates, cutlery etc) were also great.

The room we were in was a Lockwood unit so inside it has interlocking wood panels. As a result it was horribly noisy all throughout the night as the wood contracted. It sounded like gun shots or things falling off the walls and woke me up all night. Next time I’ll make sure to stay in a different style unit.

Quiet location, pleasant helpful staff, high standards of cleaning, comfortable beds.

No fan in the bathroom, or heated towel rail - just minor things. I’m told the newer rooms have them. No fault of the motel management, but we were woken at 5 30am on our second night by corporate guests going off early: the noise level was unbelievable…we were in the middle unit of three units, & both left super early: don’t these ‘corporate guests’ know that some people might actually be on holiday? Perhaps a note in their rooms to gently remind them to be considerate of other guests?

The pool is great! I’ve stayed in two different configuration rooms now and they were both excellent! This place makes you feel you are on vacation and never want to leave. Love how there aren’t heaps of rooms and the pool is huge so few families can comfortably all swim there and lounge. Even be on the deck and you feel you have your own space still.

The only small thing would be to upgrade the spa pool as it’s old but other than that, love it!

I really liked the simplicity of getting the key card - the room was very clean and tidy. Well stocked with everything you need. Comfy bed, nice TV and a nice feel to the room. Lots of parking so not having to squeeze in somewhere. Very accessible to town I walked into town for dinner and walked home very comfortably.

Nothing it was great. Didnt try the pool if I go back maybe i will. Wasnt sure if it was heated or not.

had everything we could have asked for. including early check in.m which we appreciated immensely. our room was clean and tidy. staff upon check in was lovely and the check in and check out process was beyond easy. would stay again.

we had to book a one bedroom apartment as it was not clear if rooms were self-contained with their own bathroom (and this is a necessity for us) other than this one. we only stayed overnight and could have easily made-do in a more basic room (and saved money) but bathroom facilities available in standard rooms weren’t clear.

Very clean and well set up room, perfect for my son and I. It was fantastic walking out the door and having Kerikeri right there. The spa was nice and hot.

Initially, I couldn't find the second towel, so we used a beach towel we bought with us. I found extra towels in the drawer in the morning, but perhaps easier if the correct number had been hung up. Not a drama, just a slight inconvenience.

Lovely resort style property. Well laid out small unit with everything you need for short stay. Immaculate grounds, pool, spa area. Private and peaceful yet close to the centre of town. Lovely having robes and large fluffy towels.

Can be noisy if unit too close to pool area. Only two pillows on the bed when four is the norm so hard to prop up in bed to read or have cuppa.

Lovely spa upgrade, immaculate gardens and a family friendly space for our weekend stay. Highly recommend just a walking distance into town and local bar and good grub just next door.

All good except the tv in bedroom wouldnt work for us, needed a cable or something But reception was kind to let us watch the world cup rugby final and stay on a bit later with checkout.
