The accommodation allowed me to change the dates of my stay. The person to whom I spoke on the phone was kind. Even though I did not see any staff members around, the keys to my room with clear instructions and a welcoming note were left on the counter when I arrived. The kitchen was very, very tidy, and the toilets were clean.

One of the bed sheets had a big stain, and one of the doors in the ladies' toilet did not have a lock. It was also a bit cold, and the duvets were thin.

My second stay here. The staff is really friendly and helpful (gave me some really good food recommendation). The place is clean and tidy and you can find anything you need.

I was in a girl only dorm hoping to be quiet - but the 4 others ladies sharing my room were not respectful (noice, talking, lights on, coughing). Even if it is not the accomodation's fault's, it is a bit annoying.

I booked at Egmony Eco lodge as all we needed was a place to sleep, I knew we were going to be out all day. The beds were comfortable. And there was plenty if parking. Also room for the 4 and 5 year old granddaughters to run around outside when they got up in the morning.

I know the weather was exceptionally warm, so was the room . We had to have the window wide open as it wouldn't stay open just a little. So I used a bit of wool to hold it open to at least allow air in.

We arrived very late at about 8pm ish because we got caught out on the Forgotten World Highway’s gravel patch. The lady host was very welcoming and accommodating and she has been extremely pleasant to talk to. She recommended places to visit, and where to find cafes where locals go. The shower was hot and continuous (unlike many backpackers that only has 5mins of hot shower!) . The room was very clean and the area is very quiet, 5mins drive to town and the best part is, walking out to the road we could see Mt Taranaki! We will definitely come back to your lodge in the future!

Great location. We stayed for only one night and enjoyed it. The kitchen has all the things we needed. We also had the whole deck for ourselves. The staff lady was smiley. Bathroom and toilets were clean.

There’s only one power outlet in the room, so we needed to charge our devices in the common area.

The service I received was nothing short of amazing. I was booked into a shared room and was offered a single room at the last minute. I had lost my ring and I was called advising it had been found. This honestly made my day. The owners I can tell you hand on heart will not disappoint, and you will be well taken care of.

Team of 9-10 people. Lovely and friendly staff. Accommodating in letting us come earlier and upgraded us to allow team members to stay together. Wonderful to see the eels in stream. Very enjoyable stay, thank you.

Wasn't sure where to park.

Beautiful location, a quiet bush-like setting but in the middle of New Plymouth. Clean, comfortable facilities, with all you could need. Friendly, helpful staff.

Our room had rats in the ceiling space (which we heard all night and saw on the roof during the day.

I had just finished the Around The Mountain Circuit, so exhausted and starving, I took my shuttle driver's advice to book this place. I tossed up whether to pay extra for a private bathroom, which was worth it in the end because I just wanted to do my thing and relax. Long hot shower and comfy bed for the night - just lovely. My room did come with a separate sitting area, dining table, kitchen and a massive deck - if I was staying a few more days or with friends, this would have been the perfect set up.

The bathtub/shower was a little bit slippery underfoot.

Cannot join the Free Wifi with the provided password. The Sign for the property is not stand out, especially in the night time. The upper bed is very noise, should add more support to it.
