Location is in the country about 4ks from New Plymouth city. Chalets have balconies with comfortable chairs so you can sit and enjoy the views of the sea and sunset. Lovely and quiet very private with a car park right outside your chalet door. We chose a superior apartment for extra room. The living area was upstairs with an extra bathroom plus 2 sofas to lounge on. The bedroom was downstairs with a very luxurious bathroom with double handbasins and double shower heads in the large shower. Upon arrival there was a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us.

Location was fantastic and the chalet was modern, furnished to a high standard and comfortable. It had its own kitchen with just enough equipment to cook a simple evening meal for two, but the proximity of the Vineyard restaurant a definite bonus! There was a bit of confusion around the keys, which was sorted relatively efficiently but slightly clunky communication with the hosts.

A bit more information in the chalet about the location, closest amenities, things to do in the immediate area e.g. walks, beaches etc. would have been helpful.

The view was stunning! I had canceled my reservation by mistake and Rae and her daughter were very understanding. I thank God that they had a room ready because nothing in the area would have compared to this! My partner the thought that I had paid hundreds of dollars more for it then it cost. I did travel off season. It rained the whole time but the covered porch area came in very handy. It was very luxurious staying a night in a vineyard with a fancy restaurant!

It was a little cool and there was only one mini split to heat the area. The heated towels were a very luxurious touch!

Very quiet and well appointed. Super shower and nice breakfast left for us. We also appreciated the bottle of wine. Loved waking up in the morning and looking out at the lovely scenery/views.

We were attending a wedding and would have appreciated a long mirror to check out our attire before leaving (top to bottom view) Also a box of tissues in the bathroom would have been useful as well as a dish cloth to wipe the bench down. We did have tea towels and a hand towel but didn’t like to use those following water being left after doing the dishes.

The location, view and facilities are fantastic. Chalet was very clean and tidy. Very quiet and relaxing with beautiful views of the ocean and green rolling hills.

Breakfast was average and wasn’t updated each day. It wasn’t enough for two people for two days. The pictures on the website are misleading. They are a combination of many different chalets. It would be better to just have pictures of each chalet separate from each other. I thought each chalet was separate from each other but on arrival I found that there are shared outdoor deck spaces. Luckily no one was next door. The website information and pictures do not show shared outdoor spaces.

Location was superb with an amazing view. Large studio apartment ( chalet) with very comfy large bed. Large TV made for lazy evenings. Excellent bathroom with a hot and strong shower with ample toiletries/towels etc. Kitchen well appointed. Private balcony was a bonus. Shared balcony a welcome extra when the next door chalet was empty. Kind and helpful greeting from Rae and Tenaya.

Only issue was with the working of the touch hob - set of instructions would have been useful to assist.

Location was good.

The actual chalet booked was changed and we didn't receive notification until we arrived and then had to sort things out. Some indication that the Bistro was heavily booked would have been useful.

Wonderful view. Listen to the ocean and cows! Nice bathrooms. Very quiet. Lots of room.

Sofa was small and uncomfortable. Pillows were uncomfortable. Instant coffee instead of an espresso machine.
