Handy to town area so good location. Depends what rooms you stay in re traffic noise factor as stayed in two types of apartments. Great to have kitchenette if longer stays as Queenstown is expensive to eat out in. Would stay there again. Also no noises from adjoining rooms so good soundproofing windows and walls👌

I guess the only thing are the stairs having lug heavy cases up to second level. Would be very hard for older people. Rooms can get rather hot especially the ones facing the gondolas. Blinds should be drawn down for arrival in summer months! Room was like a furnace with no air!

Me and my friends stay one night on our trip , the room and anything it so nice but the problem it reception not look like friendly with us when check in and check out never smile to us she was white girl or maybe she don’t like Asian like me and my friends that why she not look like welcome us to stay there and also I can see the guy he check in before me , he was Indian the reception it was not really friendly with him as well , just only reception we not really happy anything it very good , room clean and price it good for stay

Hi there, the location of Blue Peaks is great. Not too far from city centre but just fat enough to be away from the noise. The place was clean and tidy and the beds were great. Great little kitchen to allow us to have breakfast of a morning. Quiet mostly. The staff were friendly

I probably would've asked for a view next time as we had nothing to look forward too when we got home from the day. Our room was in a dark place so we didn't feel we could open our windows to let air in. Not sure it's something you could improve as such. Maybe could add ceiling fans?? Also please note the fan in the bathroom doesn't turn off until around 20mins have passed, even though you turn it off at switch. Might also be good to put a mirror directly in front of the sink where the window is. Otherwise i was too short to see the actual mirror that's there. Thank you

Easy to find, easy to park, very close to town centre, lovely receptionist. The rooms were impeccably clean and well serviced. All of the above Room well thought out re plugs and charging ports

Concerned that there was no functioning heater in the bedroom and that there was only a portable heater in the lounge area. Heat pumps are required. Fortunately for our stay the weather was benign. I couldn’t reach the heater switch in the bath room, I was too short! It would have been an issue if I had been travelling alone.

the property was well located and room clean. we were able to leave our luggage in the store room for a few days whilst hiking.

the fridge door wouldn’t shut, so we were unable to store items in there. We were also a little uncomfortable about the security of the luggage storeroom, in that, instead of being escorted to the storeroom and provided with some form of luggage tags, we were just given the keys and told to put our luggage in the store room. Security-wise, this seemed worrying, as they are trusting all visitors in giving them unsupervised access to the storeroom and trusting that no one will steal anyone else’s luggage. Fortunately we were fine, but not without some anxiety about whether our luggage would in fact still be there when we returned. Would strongly suggest at the very least escorting guests and implementing a tagging system to ensure guests are retrieving the correct luggage with reception.

Location was great giving easy access town. Room was clean, and had all that we needed.

The single bed was in the living area which we expected. But given there was only one TV, it meant that when our daughter went to bed, we had no access to a TV. There was not one in the bedroom. Also, the staff were pleasant but not very helpful re local attractions/tours. There was no information available at reception. However, in town, there were many available information offices.

Blue Peaks is conveniently located less than a 10 minute walk from downtown Queenstown, so close enough to hang out in the city center during the day but then far enough to be quiet at night. They had laundry and free parking onsite which were both super helpful during our stay. We were also able to store our bags with reception on our last day of checkout since we weren't leaving until later in the day. The staff was all very friendly and gave great food recommendations.

As stated, in the description the hotel doesn't have AC, so something to be aware of if you travel here in the summer.

Blue Peaks is in a very convenient location. We literally walked into town and back every day. If you don't like walking up hills, this is probs not for you, however it was the perfect way to walk off the amazing food and drinks Queenstown has to offer. Very clean, beds are comfortable, room is quiet. Being on the main road, there is traffic and people walking past, however, not enough to be an issue. The kitchenette was a perfect size if you feel the need to cook. We certainly didn't ;)

Due to COVID and minimal staff, the room wasn't serviced. This is probably the only thing that I can say I didn't like, however, it really wasn't a problem. We were told that we could go to the office to get fresh towels etc, which we did. It's not something that bothered us at all, but would have been nice to have. Fully understand the reasoning behind it.

The motel was within relatively easy walking distance to the main streets of town. The view was good.

Because of our heavy bags we might have been better on the ground floor but then we wouldn't have had the view and the staff member did help us up the stairs. We would have appreciated some sort of snack bar in the reception where we could have purchased something without going into town.
