Absolutey perfect location. It was right in town, yet no road noise due to it facing a courtyard and garden. The rooms were spacious (we stayed in both a one bedroom and a two bedroom) and comfortable. While the apartments did not have a person at the front desk at all times, they arrived with a phone call and were very accommodating, especially in regards to keeping our bags locked away while we were away walking the Milford Track. Passcodes for the garden gate at street level and to enter the building after 6pm were very easy to navigate.

The water pressure in the shower was quite weak. The fold out sofa would have been impossible to sleep on - no protection from the springs - but there were amble duvets and comforters in the closet to made a substantial protective layer. But it did involve completely remaking the bed each night and morning.

The location was fantastic. The apartment was also well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay and to cook if wanting to.

I really didnt like the 3.5% surcharge for paying by card. I understand that credit card companies charge a fee, but Mastercard and Visa certainly dont charge 3.5%. St James also charged the same surcharge for payment by debit card, which is a blatent rip off. Annoying that this wasn't highlighted when the booking was made. Could have pre paid by direct deposit. Offerred to do that when we checked in but they declined saying it take 24 hours for the transfer (even though we were staying 4 days). Basically, our options were to pay cash or pay 3.5% surcharge, even for a debit card.. who carries thousands of dollars in cash these days?

The unmanned reception was to say the least not acceptable. I had to leave a message on the outside phone and got nowhere. Managed to get keys from someone after more calls from outside phone. No body present in reception to pass the keys over when we wanted to depart so left keys on reception. Not professional at all. Never have ever had this anywhere before.!

Proximity to centre of town & a convenience store practically out the apartments private entry back gate , that had everything you could need from hot food to milk & bread ,even a Lotto outlet . Spaciousness of apartment, family of 5 siblings all managed to find our own space in the 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment . Well equipped kitchen . Washer & dryer came in very handy . Underfloor heating was just icing on the cake .

Getting to grips with the bedroom tv remote, but would of went better if we had read the very comprehensive "how to " folder on remotes & appliances first .

We stayed in an executive one bedroom apartment for 4 nights. The apartment had recently been renovated and was clean, warm and spacious. The bed was really comfortable. Location in Queenstown is great - no big hills to get home after dinner!! Great little coffee shop (Odd Saint) for a morning coffee. Would stay again.

Our apartment had been renovated but the building itself is quite old so there are some creaks and you do hear some comings and goings of other guests. We had a car during our stay and there are a limited number of car spaces on site so we were not guaranteed a spot at the end of the day. Street parking is charged and timed (2 to 4 hour limits) Luckily we didn't have parking problems, but just something to be aware of. Wifi was a bit patchy and would drop out a bit but despite these comments, we would stay again due to size of the room and the great location.

Location is right in the town centre - 30 seconds via the back footpath takes you to an awesome cafe Odd Saint and the rest of the shops and cafes. Our king bed apartment was much bigger than expected, it was luxury to stretch out with our toddler in tow. Good comfy port a cot but we didn't end up needing it as the single bed was appropriate. Bathroom is a little outdated but very clean. Free onsite parking but have to get in quick as it fills up before night fall with everyone coming back from skiing. Really happy with the stay, definitely recommend.

Very minor - we had a rental car and there was a lot of traffic trying to get out onto the main road. If we were a skiing family, we probably would not have gotten a free parking spot and there's limited street parking.

The property is in need of an update and a good spring clean. Paint work , ceilings, balcony all had cobwebs - around the bath was mould . The fridge kitchen work top and all taps were clean . The concierge was particularly helpful and gave us some milk from her own supply.

Obviously the finishing touches one expects from a holiday let like clean paint work no mould etc . The powdered milk is not a good idea especially for those who drink tea.

Location! There's a gate access at the rear of the property that's only for tenants. Super convenient to get into the main part of the town! Immediately across from the gate is a 24hr convenience store. Can walk to most attractions (even to Skyline) which helps save on parking.

For those staying at the ground/lower level, the toilet was clean but a little small; even for normal size people. A bit pricey but I guess the convenience makes up for it.

We liked the apartment for its proximity to the main attractions, all walking distance - marina, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. The staff are friendly, from the time we checked-in and looked after the apartment very well. The view from the living room and balcony is beautiful. The heated bathrooms are a delight.

Because we are senior citizens, the stairs to the main living area are a challenge with our luggage taking them up and down, but we managed so it’s not a negative.

The location was perfect, very close to everything. Always a bonus having a car park at the apartments too. A great kitchen and lovely lounge area looking out onto the street. It was very comfortable with a heat pump that worked well keeping us all warm!

Minor things really - a squeaky bathroom door on the ground floor of the three bedroomed apartment - makes it hard to be quiet for the other quests! Shower very small also but convenient having two showers in the three bedroom apartment.
