The staff were very informative about the current conditions in Queenstown, with water problems and the necessity to boil drinking water. They were also very apologetic about the roadworks that made access to the motel difficult and confusing, and assured us they had striven to reach an agreement with the workers to keep noise level down overnight. They also said they had a strict customer noise policy and we should complain if our peace was disturbed. We were given a room at the front of the motel, which had a lovely view of the lake and the mountains surrounding! Very picturesque!

There was Bollywood music playing next to us at night, the drums were very bass. We were in bed by 9.30, when music started. Fortunately the noise level was decreased at 10, and completely turned off by 10.30

I loved the view from our room of the lake and mountains so we could just look outside and marvel at creation and still be warm in our room with double glazed windows and heat pump. I also loved the new bathroom that shined white with shiny chrome and how big our room is suited our family. The kitchen came furnished with all we needed and there is a laundry facility that I appreciated to clean our clothes. It is in a great location close by the city that we could happily walk to. Super helpful staff that were there if we needed that helped us get some good activities with our children.

The room was great & very clean, comfortable beds too! Only thing I had a problem with was being emailed to ask arrival time, which I replied too BUT then when we got there and no-one apart from the cleaners were there, to be them told checkin wasn’t until 2pm. I couldn’t work out why they’d ask then not reply to say “oh sorry checkin isn’t until 2pm. Could’ve saved us some anguish BUT after that hiccup, I’d definitely stay there again! Very nice people!

Nothing to say - only problem was the roadworks, which is an inconvenience but certainly not the Moteliers fault! There is a bit of a walk into town which is ok, it’s the walk home is the killer as it’s all uphill!! Very steep

Location is great, walking distance to the main attractions. Daily room service. Functional kitchen. Easy detour despite the road works in front.

We got the old room which has a hint of old wood smell. Our bedroom door and cupboard door is not closing porperly.

Great apartment for getting to know the area! We didn’t have a car while staying here and it didn’t stop us getting around the area. It’s a handy short walk into the tourist hub and also a short bus ride away if you need to get to the airport! Good kitchen facilities as well and bed and pillows were very comfortable!

Roadworks right outside the property! Not noisy but just spoiled the outlook which would have been a perfect lake view otherwise! Beyond the control of the property though and a general problem most places around Queenstown!

This property is perfectly located just outside the bustle of Queenstown but with the convenience of still being able to comfortably walk into Queenstown. Our upstairs apartment had a wonderful view of the mountains and lake as well as a bath for our son. The onsite car parking was also great for our hire car.

There was roadworks all along the front of the property which means all footpaths were through gravel and when driving there was only a one way street to enter the property. We were lucky in that the actual work did not take place during our stay but this had commenced again on our leaving. The reception was also not open regularly which means there was no staff on hand to assist with any issues you might have.

The motel is in a fantastic location. It's a five minute walk down the hill to the CBD and close to a couple of bus stops for getting to other locations. It's on the bus route from the airport. The rooms are spacious and have an outdoor area (ground floor). We had two bookings as we were doing a Great Walk inbetween and we were able to store our luggage at the motel. As we were arriving after checking in time had closed, they left our luggage in our new room. The service was exceptional.

Friendly service. Comfortable rooms .Location to Town centre was easy.

The Road Works and holding up cars coming out of the establishment.( we waited 30mins to get out of the street) Not motels fault. But in fairness to the motel owner he did warn us of the noise surrounding the motel area, due to the Works outside. The only other improvement that would be great! Would be the Outside area off our room needs painting the concrete wall and maybe improve the landscaping. It would make a beautiful area to sit in.

The view from the property is superb. Sizeable room with free laundry service. It is so accessible to city and the location is superb. We spent 3 nights in the property. If possible get the upstairs room with view. We will definitely recommend anyone to stay.

Currently Queenstown is upgrading the main road so accessibility to the property by vehicle has to detour. However the management gives clear instructions, you will drive pass panaroma terrace which provides a perfect place to take pictures.

Very helpful and friendly staff. We weren't expecting or even asking for an early check-in, but received a text when we'd just arrived at the airport. Replied that we'd just landed and asked whether we drop-off our bags, and by the time we arrived at the motel they had our room ready. We returned to the motel 3 days later after being away tramping, and they had stored our luggage for us. The road works out the front were not a big deal, and this currently affects many places in Queenstown. We negotiated it just fine and mostly walked around Queenstown anyway as it's a very short walk to town, and there's very little carparking in town anyway. Besides, Queenstown's little secret is traffic jams at busy times - not just an Auckland problem.
