The free underground parking is great. This Motel is close to the airport and Remarkable Ski Field. Having a washer and drier in our bathroom was very handy. Good basic cooking facilities with a dishwasher meant we could cook easy meals like porridge or eggs on toast. The drying room was great for us to dry our ski gear with plenty of room. Everything dried overnight. It's such a treat to ski with dry gear each day! All the staff we met were friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Washer and drier were noisy, but they were in our bathroom, so noise is to be expected. We washed our clothes in the evening and dried them the next morning while we were out, which meant the noise was not a problem for us. The motel is a little tired, carpets mainly but our room was cleaned beautifully every day of our two week stay.

The room was excellent and the views were spectacular, being an ex airline crew member for Qantas Airways in AUSTRALIA i has spent the last 34 years in and out of hotels all over the world and found your hotel wonderful, including the staff. A lady on reception by the name of ISABELLA was most polite and professional and she was very very helpful towards me so appreciate if you would please be kind enough to let her know i appreciated her help including the last day there when she helped arrange a taxi for my departure to the airport, she honestly went the extra mile, again many thanks. Very good location which suited our needs for a family weekend away. Lovely view, room was well prepared and welcoming. Housekeeping staff were positive, professional and friendly and went out of their way to attend to our needs.

Thought that the apartment was in need of maintenance. Many marks on the carpet and walls, wardrobe in second room did not slide open and shut as it should. (Room 306) The chopping board in the kitchen was long overdue for replacement. Housekeeping took the board away and tried to get us a replacement, but to no avail, so then housekeeping took it away to give it a good thorough clean. Thank you for this. Confusion at check in about payment, we thought the money had already come out of our account 2 days prior to our stay. The system in place was poorly explained, not what we needed after a 5 hour drive from Christchurch!!!

A very efficient and helpful team of the hotel. A representative came to fix the stovetop upon receiving our report. When it could not be fixed immediately, the receptionist helped change and upgrade our room right away. The balcony was big and with a great view. The kitchenette was fully equipped. The housekeeping staff member was accommodating when I asked him to come do the cleaning a bit later. The dishwasher capsule and other consumables were refilled. All in all, a highly enjoyable stay. We're very satisfied customers. Will certainly recommend the hotel to our friends.

It would be perfect if the garage floor is less dusty and the card reader/ senser more sensitive.

Being outside of the hectic Queenstown with so many roadworks and people was a bonus. Room was brilliant, we could have lived in it for ages.Close to shopping centre and a Boulongerie to die for. Bedroom was separate from living space. Excellent Wi-Fi connection and secure which has been unusual to find on our travels around. Secure parking under the building was great. Close to airport for the flights over Milford Sound, also has a bus stop right outside.

Having to drive into and through Queenstown itself to get to places, also the limited parking. Perhaps by next season the roadworks will have finished and things will have improved.

The location was very convenient - a quick 10 min drive to Queenstown. Being away from the hustle and bustle of the city was perfect. It was so quiet with lots everything you needed in close proximity. Free parking was so handy and the benefit of free wifi. Being so close to the airport was not a deterrent - they couldn’t be heard. Being so close to the Remarkables was just stunning!

The treadmill in the gym is not worth using - it is very grippy and if you do anything more than a slow walk, you could fall. It needs to be replaced and the gym needs a good clean. The marks on the walls in the room could easily be cleaned off.

We stayed two separate nights, in room 204 and 115. Room 115 was disappointing after 204. The latter had no double lock on the door, a SUPER loud clothes dryer with a door falling off, smaller room space and just one “multi-use” soap in the shower vs body was, shampoo and conditioner in the other. The staff are terrific, but only there from 8am to 6pm. The restaurant closes around 3pm. We liked the close location to the airport but if you want to be able to really experience Queenstown, you should stay closer to downtown on the lake.

See above. Both nights were “king studios with kitchenette” but very different in size and more. Price difference was US $30.

Room 204 was nice, well equipped and cleaned but the mattress was old because it was uneven and uncomfortable. Needs replacement. Staff service was very excellent and helpful. Location is very convenient where we board bus No. 1 opposite the hotel to the airport. Only 10 mins ride or less.. Lots of restaurants/supermarket within walking distance from Ramada Suites Remarkables. Frank Eatery was located at the ground floor and the Thai restaurant was just next door. Very convenient location. We could see the Remarkables mountain clearly located behind the hotel. Overall a 4.5/5star rating. Thank you

I loved my stay at the Ramada! The room was very comfortable and well-equipped and the view of The Remarkables was an added bonus. The hotel is very handy to shops, including cafes and restaurants, as well as the Queenstown Airport. A bus stop right outside makes it easy to get to the airport or into the tourist hub of the town and Lake Wakatipu. But there are also some great places to walk around the hotel. Also if you arrive feeling hungry or thirsty there’s an excellent cafe in the foyer - great prices, great coffee and delicious food.

Well-placed hotel in a good location to explore Queenstown and the surrounding area.

Wifi connection dropped regularly, making video calls challenging and would have been a major challenge if I were on business travel. Might be relatively easy to fix though, as the connection speed when it worked was very good. For travellers not travelling with family or a group, ask for a room without a connecting door to the neighbouring room. Not at all the hotel's fault, but if your neighbour starts singing to the TV at 5 in the morning, these connecting doors are not soundproof at all.
