John's personal greeting upon arrival was a wonderful touch to a nice couple of days at his extremely well maintained lodge. He was kind enough to introduce me to the other guests staying at the lodge during my stay and the resident cat, Oscar. The room was large and very clean and organized. It was nice to have the cooking ability. The bed and linens were very comfortable.

Bugs outside were minimal but still couldn't sleep with the windows/glass doors open since there weren't any screens. Only a minor inconvenience. I wish there were ice trays in the freezer. The couple next to me gave me theirs, but that didn't help the immediate issue. All in all, there are no real complaints.

Beautiful location. Loved walking around the grounds and taking in the views. Being able to sue the bikes. Our accomodation had breathtaking views of the mountains and our time there was very relaxing. Playing bocce outside with Oscar spectating was a fun memory too.

Wasn’t anything really, perhaps having some baking dishes for the oven as when we went to cook there weren’t any.

Would love to have stayed forever. We stayed in the upper level apartment. It had stunning views from our lounge and balcony. The grounds around are immaculate. Flowers all round the grounds. Heated pool , outdoor spa. Recommended to all. Special thanks to John and Oscar. Lovely man and cheeky cat.

Wonderful, quiet Lodge to relax and enjoy the view of Coronet Peak. John kept us up to date on how to check in & out and refilling of the spa pool. Our bed was superb, large room, comfy couches x2, full dining table. Grounds are well laid out and maintained. Would be amazing in the summer - we plan to return with family. So handy to Frankton, Queenstown, Arrowtown, Coronet Peak & Remarkables. Has bus service to area and back to Qtwn. Book today, you will be thrilled you did. John, thank you for your beautiful Lodge. Beautiful place. Clean spacious room and bathroom. Lovely pool and jacuzzi. We borrowed the bicycles on offer and they were good. We went 45km on them- not bad for free bikes! The property is very near the Old Lower Shotover bridge which links up with many cycling trails.

Nothing to dislike

Great location close to cycle routes and some lovely scenery, as well as being close enough to road and airport. A real bonus were the selection of cycles, and the spa and pool would have been great to use. The grounds are amazing and plenty of space to chill out if you are there for a couple of days.

The Pavilion room, which is well equipped for occupants with disabilities, sits under another room. The result can be a lot of heavy footfall from upstairs occupants. However, the most disappointing thing was that the heat exchanger for the upstairs room is placed directly above the bed in the Pavilion room - so all you can hear at night is the equivalent of a washing machine starting and stopping. This completely detracted from an otherwise great stay - shame.

Excellent communication, room upgrade without requesting, spacious, beautiful view of Coronet Peak (esp at night - night skiing), nicely appointed, warm, clean, quality bedding, quiet location, highly recommend.

Amazing location and grounds, including clear and private mountain views. Excellent facilities, with access to a sauna, pool and hot tub, as well as the use of mountain bikes. The apartment was clean and warm, and the bathroom included underfloor heating.

Bare minimum of utensils, like pots/pans, knives and cutlery, and no cooking oil, provided. Apartments should be self-contained, and provisioning for the kitchen is one area for improvement - although the bed and towels were high quality and very comfortable.

Staff were very friendly, encouraged us to use facilities like spa and sauna which were top quality but the best part was the view, which is in sight from all rooms.

Google maps was slightly off with its directions, simply look out for yellow manata sign on street

Everything! We have travelled the whole of NZ and this is the nicest accommodation and great value for money. Beautiful place, full self contained with a bathtub, little extras like salt and pepper, makeup wipes, liquid soaps. Beautuful views. Close to Queenstown Central and only 9km out of Queenstown main center. Good communication with host. Highly recommend ❤️
