I booked a penthouse for a four-night stay, which was a fantastic choice due to its stunning lakeside views and the exceptionally helpful staff. Waking up to the beautiful lake each morning was a highlight, and the staff's attentiveness and local recommendations significantly enhanced my experience. The penthouse itself was luxurious yet comfortable, featuring high-quality furnishings and modern amenities, making my stay both memorable and delightful.
During our visit, we observed that the hotel was undergoing renovations. This is an important consideration for potential guests, as it may impact the overall experience. Additionally, we found that parking facilities were somewhat restricted. The available spaces were limited in number and quite narrow, posing a challenge for maneuvering larger vehicles. Furthermore, it's worth noting that the approach to the parking area involves a steep incline. This aspect might require additional caution and skill from drivers, particularly those unfamiliar with such terrain. The combination of ongoing construction, limited and tight parking spaces, along with the steep access route are factors that guests should be aware of when planning their stay.

Very clean very comfortable and spacious. Glad to have 2 bedroons as nowhere to put luggage in main bedroom so used second room as dressing room. Staff friendly. View amazing! Able to walk beside the lake into town which was lovely. Shuttle great as parking a premium in cbd.
Shuttle didnt run between 11- 2pm. Was charged $5 for a broken glass (trying to dishwadher it) which seemed petty given cost of room. Parking awkward given space restrictions during building work. Building work didnt bother us. Second bedroom had no window.

We have never stayed anywhere as fantastic as the 1 bed, lake view apartment at the Oaks Shores. It is huge, beautifully appointed and with the most stunning view over the lake. The staff were all cheerful, friendly and helpful. The complex is on the lakeside walk which is a lovely stroll into Queenstown in one direction and the Marina the other way. The free shuttle bus into Queenstown is excellent, though the local buses do go right past the Oaks. I had read negative reviews regarding the noise from the ongoing building work and lack of parking, but we didn't hear any construction noise and had no difficulty with parking on site. We would move into this apartment tomorrow!

The room, the view, the room facilities were excellent, top notch. The lake Wakatipu view from level 3 where we stayed was picture perfect. Spacious room. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. Full kitchen. Two bedroom/bathroom. Balcony. Excellent.
The only eye sore was the entrance since they were constructing/refurbishing one of the block. The entrance was as if we are entering a construction site. No ambience at all as you would expect for a 4 star resort. They could have mentioned this in the information. "The property is refurbishing the interior and the exterior" is an understatement. Bit pricey after this inconvenience. Scale down the rate a bit.

Staff were very good in greetings and very good in hospitality point of view and helpful, view was very good, quite spacious for family , Rooms were clean, comfortable spacious n good
There was no Aircon in Apartments and it was very hot day we had to request for fans, Very inconvenient for Disabled people and senior persons in our family and we faced do many difficulties as the renovations and constructions was going on and we had to walk in steep roads and no lifts for some of the floors, Parking was worst as it was so steep and in one direction , it was so complex and small parkings and entrance n turning were so smsll so for new drivers never try this parking , in fact I have seen two car being hit to the poles in parking area , In fact for walking trail access no Lift and difficult for senior persons

The apartment was huge, had an amazing balcony with postcard views. Perfect for the family, you have all the amenities you need. The apartment was very clean, had amazing heating, and was very quiet.
Wasn't cheap, you pay for the views, its a 25 minute walk to town or pay $20 each way for the taxi. The free shuttle service only runs between 4pm to 9pm, which doesn't make sense if you want to go to town in the morning. They are doing renovations at the moment but didn't really distract too much from the stay. The staff could be more friendly, they only look up when you need something, they never say good morning, or welcome back when you return. Its the little things that can make your stay more pleasant, especially when you are paying a premium price.

The facilities provided in the unit, the scenic views, the helpful staff
Signage to the property from the main road, by the time you see it, it’s difficult to make the turn in and it’s a very steep tight corner to drive into the property. There should also be signs to direct one to park in the basement carpark for check in purpose as arriving guests will not know where to park. Difficult to park on a tight slope and limited car park spaces on the slope in front of the reception area for arriving guests to park for check in. Narrow tight slope to and out of property to main road. Perhaps not to have parking along the driveway up and down from the car park, allowing more space for vehicles going in and out of the property safely.

The apartment is very impressive, spacious and well equipped and the view from it is breathtaking, probably the most beautiful view I have seen from a hotel window in the thirty years I have been traveling.
The apartment is very impressive but our experience was absurd, as the bedrooms were hot and stuffy and we had to use fans in the middle of winter! The climate control system is controlled by the reception, which is also absurd. The hotel is under renovation and we actually had to go through a construction site to get to the room. This is a detail that was not given to us when we made the order. Even on good days, the access to the apartments is complicated and a bit claustrophobic.

The accommodation itself was amazing. Very spacious with comfortable bed and sofa. Well equipped kitchen and very handy to have washing machine and dryer. The view from the balcony was just beautiful!!! There is construction going on and it was probably bad luck that our room was next to the construction however, impact from noise was minimal; view was obstructed on one side but still fantastic. It was a beautiful walk into the town centre along the lake pathway (about 40 minutes) but also public transport very close or hotel shuttle in the evening.
It is hard to find a negative although there is construction happening this did not impact greatly. Although amenities were topped up daily and bed made if required it was surprising no cleaning undertaken for a seven night stay this did not bother us too much as we keep on top of keeping room clean and tidy.
