The woman who greeted us at check in was lovely, the smoothest check in we've had. The room was great, perfect for our family of 5, parents with 2 teens and a toddler. The private spa was great, we don't usually use spas because they're too hot for us but there was a hose provided to connect to the cold tap to lower the temp, which was perfect. Basic cooking facilities were perfect for our short stay. The pool was also really nice, naturally heated but a nice temperature to chill out. We appreciated the staff changing towels daily and washing up dishes. The extra blankets are such good quality too! Oh and the entertainment is so good! So impressed that they have smart TVs and have SKY. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great during our stay, I'd say the only thing that was missing was a chopping board. But obviously not a deal breaker.

The beds were so comfortable, and the units are quite roomy and big. The private spas are amazing and the heated public pool was fantastic. Loved the toddler bay next to/with the main pool my little one loved it. It was also nice and quiet. They also provided so many towels!

It would of been better had there been 2 chairs placed near the private spa, when it gets to hot it would be nice to sit there before jumping back in. The stairs in the unit were a bit dangerous for my toddler but it isn't necessary for them to go upstairs anyway. The extractor fan in the shower was quite dusty and dirty and off putting because it's right in your face when you shower. The bathroom door could also do with a clean as there's dirty fingerprints on it. The price was a bit expensive as its a little outdated, but overall, the stay was really comfortable.

We stayed over the Christmas period with myself, husband and 3 year old. The room was great and had everything we needed. A separate bed in the mezzanine where our son could sleep whilst we stayed downstairs and able to entertain ourselves separately in the main living room (with TV). The rooms were quiet (although I hope we werent the noisy ones with a child up early). There is a swing set and pool which was great for extra entertaining. We utilised the private spa a couple of times after a long day. The temp was a bit hot but there was a hose to add cold water for your liking. What a bonus! The kitchen has everything you need as well so a great all round stay

We were a family of 5 travelling from Australia. Whilst we were out sightseeing the majority of the day - the motor lodge was a great base to come back to each afternoon. Cleaning staff on site, very accommodating when we asked to have the sofa-bed made up. They serviced the room each day with clean towels and clean bins. We felt this was in a safe area in Rotorua to stay. I would recommend to other families and travelers.

Really great place to stay with families. The staff were friendly and super accomodating, we asked if we could check in early at 12 and it wasn't a problem and sorted for us. Room was great for us, quite spacious nice modern kitchen and bathroom. Pool was nice and heated which meant kids could swim for ages!

No extra/spare pillows or blankets in. Not a big deal but would have been nice, I didn't notice until we went to bed late on the evening so couldn't call reception.I am sure they would've brought some over I feel the cold more than most.

My room was stunning. Clean, fresh, had everything you could need. Lovely comfortable beds, great choices of channels on the TV, a wonderful warm relaxing spa. A great private weekend. The catch up I had with my nudist friend who I hadn't seen in about 5 years was excellent. No worries about offending anyone. Definitely going back

The only very very small negative was the hose connection didn't fit on the tap so I couldn't put cold water into the spa to cool it down a bit. When I told the receptionist when I left he promised to rectify the problem

We loved that there was a spa at the back of our lodge! It was the big determining factor for us booking this accommodation. It was nice and clean, and temperature was really hot - perfect to soak in before bed. Room was nice and tidy, and it came with plenty of spare towels and toilet paper, as well as facilities and utensils for stove top cooking. The heater does a great job at keeping the room warm - perfect for winter days! Unfortunately, I got my period on my last night there, so had to disclose that the sheets had a bit of blood. Was a bit nervous, but the duty manager was so forgiving and patient with me! I felt super reassured, and am thankful that he made a potentially embarrassing situation feel like water off a ducks back.

Bathroom had a bit of a strange smell, but wasn’t sure if it was due tri the geo-thermal water or something that was dirty. First thing I noticed as well is that there’s no aircon, and the only fan is right above the loft bed. Didn’t matter to us because we’re in the middle of winter, but if I was staying here in warmer months I wouldn’t enjoy not having aircon.

Loved loved loved the Spa in the room, the heated pool was beautiful. On such a cold day the pool was the best temperature. I have been to others and they have been cold. But this pool was amazing. The receptionist was so kind and helpful. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family. I will definitely be using this place all the time. It's handy to all the food places too, but if they had a resturant that would top this place off.

The only thing I would of wanted was a softer bed. The bed and the pillows were quite firm to sleep on. Probably the most firm one that I have actually slept on. But that was my only thing I would change. They have a big room for a resturant.

My family and I were greeted by a bright, bubbly and kind receptionist who settled us in right away. Our rooms were absolutely superb - Clean and welcoming from the moment we walked in through the door. The amenities provided are family friendly and gave us the opportunities to make some memorable moments at the Wylie Court Motor Lodge. Thank you for giving our family a beautiful place to stay - You've found yourselves some regular customers when we're in Rotorua next!

I wish we could have stayed longer!

We were there once before it was great, it had a small pool but this time the room has a spa pool which is more spacious. Also the kids loved the pool after all the fun in the rain on the weekend i booked it, plus it was a great deal at the time of booking took advantage of the mobile app discount. Parking is right outside and access is a breeze. Room i believe has some degree of sound proofing which is great if the kids gets abit noise.

hmmm there not much to wind about but there are some spots on the wall that needed some attention.
