We stayed over the Christmas period with myself, husband and 3 year old. The room was great and had everything we needed. A separate bed in the mezzanine where our son could sleep whilst we stayed downstairs and able to entertain ourselves separately in the main living room (with TV). The rooms were quiet (although I hope we werent the noisy ones with a child up early). There is a swing set and pool which was great for extra entertaining. We utilised the private spa a couple of times after a long day. The temp was a bit hot but there was a hose to add cold water for your liking. What a bonus! The kitchen has everything you need as well so a great all round stay

Apartment was well heated on our stay, it was winter its good to have a nice warm room for the family with little ones 5, 3 and 1 which really make the different for us after a cold wet day outsides. Its not dry heat either so sleeping is good. It dont smell like other motels we stayed in. Its clean to a good standard It has mini provate pool heated 24/7 even tho we didnt use it every day of the stay we did on our final night it was right temp. The place even has a bigger public pool. Parking is very generous for a family car and good driving distance to the city center.

The only thing that may need work on is brighter lighting's

We had a beautiful stay, the lovely man from the front office who gave us our room key was very respectful and polite. Our favourite feature of our room was definitely the private spa pool right out our back door! We wished we could stay much longer than we did. The shared pool was also empty when we used it which was an awesome bonus.

The cleanliness out by the spa pool area could have been a bit better. There were spots of thick green/black moss around the spa pool, especially under the hose. But other than that our stay was amazing

No lights in some rooms, especially in the main areas that there should be lights, no dustpan, my kids found cockroaches and saw a few spider webs there, no dishwasher, not much information compared to the other accommodations/court lodge/motel/hotels we’ve been in Rotorua, not much cleaning equipments for the kitchen as there was no dishwasher, No Netflix on Tv, Wifi on devices kept going on and off, there were no tea towels when we first got there, I told them about the lights when I checked out but they said i should have rang them or come by the office but it is there job to get all these things sorted before your guest arrive.

Always nice staying here....good space inside, pool , hot outdoor bath, clean, friendly staff etc.

From the hundreds of accommodation I've stayed at, I've never been to one where you can't lock the bathroom/toilet area when you're in there. This door would actually fly open also whenever someone opens another door in the unit. It was embarrassing for us all and my teen grandchildren if sitting on the toilet or in the shower. Apparently this is so no children lock themselves while inside the bthrm. But there are modern locks now that you can turn from the outside handle if this happens, as we have at home, and they are not expensive. Just saying.

The whole unit was nice & clean, housekeeping was very nice, made sure we had clean towels/flannels, coffee/sugar/tea daily. Wasn't sure if toilet paper was provided but ended up buying my own packet for 5 days but wasn't a biggie. Loved how it was convenient to everything, close to city centre & the location where my son played rugby league & the camp site he stayed at too. Price was ok & kind of worth the 5 days we stayed there. Would recommend these guys & will stay there again if we come through to Rotorua again 💯

Besides the smell lol the beds were abit uncomfortable but again wasn't a biggie 😊 wifi was always lagging but I would understand that due to alot of units being in use but other than that, everything else was ok !!

Right from the start the staff had made us feel welcomed. Just takes so much stress off your shoulders when you get in from travelling and get greeted like family. Check In was super easy, and we were even grouped together. The hot pools were awesome which is such a nice treat especially with the rain. The rooms are exactly what we expected and needed. Tidy, comfy and perfect for our family of 4. The grounds are super looked after, and tidy. The staff were the stars of the show. Our family says there has been no other place that has shown better hospitality to us than Wylie has. So thank you guys a lot. Also I must note that they were pretty well priced compared to we were originally going to stay.

Spacious accomodation for a family. Had everything we needed in the kitchen generally. Enjoyed both the plunge pool in our unit and the outdoor heated pool, which is in a nicely landscaped area. Friendly, helpful staff. Room serviced each day.

For the price, it could be better. Beds not that comfortable (they need to use fitted sheets) and no bedside tables to put anything on. Ours had an electric blanket on it which we couldn’t use as no plugs. (We didn’t need it - but better to remove it and put a decent mattress protector on instead). Limited plugs throughout. Some areas could use a refresh/update.

Great for families. We didn't know it was a thermal pool, would be better if it was a heated pool. Lucky we had the plunge pool so we used that as it was very hot the day we arrived, also got a fan as it was extremely hot and we couldn't sleep. Staff were awesome and helpful, also the cleaners were helpful and fast. Defs recommend to stay here
