Arista of Rotorua

Location is perfect! The place I normally go to was booked out and Arista kept popping up when I looked further. Your cat was very friendly gave us a welcome, came into the place with us when we arrived. Hung around, then left. Also just loved the Loft vibe, high ceilings, separate living space to the rooms. Because my mum started to get sick the last day, she could stay upstairs and rest while I did my work downstairs. I loved the journey your family have been on, its a beautiful story to how you all started to now😊Whanau vibes.

Everything was fine. If I were to add something it would be location of powerpoints were too far from the kitchen table when I had to use my labtop. But that was a easy fix and maybe just add a small table to go with the chairs outside by the spa. There's a lot of space outside. I like being outside as well.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good the motel room was! The layout of the room was perfect. I slept best in bed, and the private spa was the icing on the cake. The room had everything one could ask for. It's the best location to access everything. If you get a chance to read the book about the origins of the motel do so! The cats are also a valued addition. I will be staying here again.

I know it's only one car park per room, and there was off-street parking behind the motel. My only suggestion would be that there is access from the off-street to the motel without having to jump the fence and that the additional car park be closed in. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my car parked in an area that wasn't fully lit up.

Arista of Rotorua exceeded our expectations. Accomodation felt homely while also providing a sense of comfort and luxury feel being on holiday. Staff were very accomodating and friendly, thank you Susan for the wonderful hospitality. Location was excellent as there are gas stations, restaurants and supermarkets on the same street and close to popular attractions. Although being on a Main Street outside noise was very minimal. Great to have allocated parking and other facilities to use onsite bbq/playground. The room and grounds are kept immaculately clean, it was lovely to see the upkeep of gardens surrounding property and our room was very spacious and well equipped with all the essentials, cooking utensils, fridge/freezer, microwave, cleaning supplies, toaster, kettle, electric pan and even salt and pepper!. We loved the private hot tub and beds were very comfortable. Definitely would come back to Arista for our next stay.

Clean and spacious rooms with incredibly comfortable beds. The outdoor hot tub was a winner! Staff made up the room daily and did a fantastic job. Perfect little kitchette. Cot provided for the baby was spacious and comfortable also. Great location. Double glazed windows meant little to no traffic noise despite being on a main road.

We had a broken door handle on the cupboard under the stairs, and the TV casting system was atrocious. It rarely connected, and when it did it would disconnect in the middle of a show. Family members travelling with us (in a different room) also had the same issue

Friendly and helpful staffs, provide information and good communication even before arrival. If have rented a car, the location is quite ideal, 3km to town/lake and 7km to the airport. Their house keeping is top notch, cleanliness usually is our top priority and they can provide a standard that we have no complaint of. Love the spa pool, can do the spa at your leisure time. For animal lover, there is a cute and friendly feline mascot there you would want to say hello to :) We will stay again if we drop by to Rotorua

Just make sure to lock the doors and windows before going to bed, although the staffs will do a security check before they retire to bed but a reminder that this is a family run motel not a hotel with 24 hours full security guards

I loved everything about this place, had a bit of wear and tear but overall I loved it. Laura in the front office was soooo beautiful she made me feel so welcome especially being a Pasifika family. We tend to get looked at like we can't afford to be in such a place.🙄🙄🙄 We will definitely be coming back again. I loved how my daughter & her whanau were in Rm 2 and we were in Rm 3 suited us perfectly as well as being up front there. The cleaning staff were AMAZING and we appreciated the mahi that they put into what they done. Thank you so much, and I'm recommending all my whanau and friends whenever they're in Rotorua where to stay.

I would of liked to have seen some sort of rails to help me out of the spa. Fat girl struggles 🤣🤣🤣. For me I didn't see any faults like some Karen's & Kenny's would🙄🙄like I says there was wear & tear but it was value for MY money.

We really enjoyed this accommodation & loved the story behind the family that turned a run down hotel into what you see today (due to retrenchment) all the while nursing a child with an illness. You can read about them in a book located in the apartment. We were warmly welcomed & delighted with the amenities. Excellent location, only 15-25 minutes from all major tourist attractions with free car parking. Highly recommend. Travelled with 3 adults & 3 teenage children.

The Location, the playground for little ones and the fact it catered for bigger whānau groups - 3 adults and 2 children 👍🏽

The drive way. You need an entrance at one end and an exit at the other end. It was difficult to manoeuvre a big car in the confines of the complex when you had cars parked in all car parks and you were trying to reverse in order to get out. Also you definitely need an AC on the top floor of the loft, the big fan did nothing to try and blow the cool air out.

the rooms were huge, huger than expected. it was basically a regular hotel room (bed, sofa, tv, little desk, bathroom), plus a kitchen (with separate kitchen table), plus an upstairs loft area with three (!) more beds. oh, and a patio area with a hot tub.

very little to complain about. the only tiny thing even worth mentioning is that the kitchen was equipped with everything except a serrated knife for cutting bread.

The room was clean, comfortable, and was somewhat close to town. Not walking distance, but within a 10 minute drive. We did not try the in room hot tub spa. We had a parking space as detailed in the booking. There was laundry facilities as advertised which was approximately NZ$4 per was

We did not like that the bedroom was upstairs and more like a loft. If you wanted to use the toilet, you had to climb down a long flight of stairs. Not great in the middle of the night.
