Highly Recommend !! Our Loft was nothing but great for our small family of 3. We were kindly greeted by Maggie who showed us to, and around our room which made the stay that little bit more welcoming. Rooms and bathroom were clean, warm, spacious and cosy. Private Spa was such a win, we absolutely loved that. The location of the property is central and only a couple minutes walk/drive away from most activites, restaurants/cafes and supermarkets. On sight playground was a bonus for us and our toddler. We will definitely stay here again after this amazing stay🥰

Good location not too far from the city centre. Very friendly staff and several friendly cats around aswell. The room was clean and tidy with plenty of space and surfaces to spread out. Spacious bathroom. Loved the private access outdoor spa bath that was tucked away at the rear end of the hotel and very quiet. Kitchenette is reasonably well equipped and things like tea, coffee and hot chocolate are refilled daily. Large selection of channels on the TV

The mattress was, unfortunately, very soft and therefore not very comfortable. Casting onto the TVs was patchy and wouldn't work at all for me (Android) and only with issues for my partner (iOS). The internet, in general, was also quite slow. The stairs in our room were very creaky, which won't be an issue for most people, but it was difficult for us to walk the stairs without waking up our daughter.

Location is perfect! The place I normally go to was booked out and Arista kept popping up when I looked further. Your cat was very friendly gave us a welcome, came into the place with us when we arrived. Hung around, then left. Also just loved the Loft vibe, high ceilings, separate living space to the rooms. Because my mum started to get sick the last day, she could stay upstairs and rest while I did my work downstairs. I loved the journey your family have been on, its a beautiful story to how you all started to now😊Whanau vibes.

Everything was fine. If I were to add something it would be location of powerpoints were too far from the kitchen table when I had to use my labtop. But that was a easy fix and maybe just add a small table to go with the chairs outside by the spa. There's a lot of space outside. I like being outside as well.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good the motel room was! The layout of the room was perfect. I slept best in bed, and the private spa was the icing on the cake. The room had everything one could ask for. It's the best location to access everything. If you get a chance to read the book about the origins of the motel do so! The cats are also a valued addition. I will be staying here again.

I know it's only one car park per room, and there was off-street parking behind the motel. My only suggestion would be that there is access from the off-street to the motel without having to jump the fence and that the additional car park be closed in. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my car parked in an area that wasn't fully lit up.

Arista of Rotorua exceeded our expectations. Accomodation felt homely while also providing a sense of comfort and luxury feel being on holiday. Staff were very accomodating and friendly, thank you Susan for the wonderful hospitality. Location was excellent as there are gas stations, restaurants and supermarkets on the same street and close to popular attractions. Although being on a Main Street outside noise was very minimal. Great to have allocated parking and other facilities to use onsite bbq/playground. The room and grounds are kept immaculately clean, it was lovely to see the upkeep of gardens surrounding property and our room was very spacious and well equipped with all the essentials, cooking utensils, fridge/freezer, microwave, cleaning supplies, toaster, kettle, electric pan and even salt and pepper!. We loved the private hot tub and beds were very comfortable. Definitely would come back to Arista for our next stay.

We loved the location of property, close to everything you need. The place was very spacious. We loved that it had a kitchenette and tvs both up stairs and down. We also thought the beds were very comfortable, we loved the pillows, they were so soft and full. We loved that they cleaned our rooms every day was awesome to come back too after a long day.

The bathroom is outdated and some of the bathroom didn’t feel/look clean and also the carpet felt a bit dirty.

Clean and spacious rooms with incredibly comfortable beds. The outdoor hot tub was a winner! Staff made up the room daily and did a fantastic job. Perfect little kitchette. Cot provided for the baby was spacious and comfortable also. Great location. Double glazed windows meant little to no traffic noise despite being on a main road.

We had a broken door handle on the cupboard under the stairs, and the TV casting system was atrocious. It rarely connected, and when it did it would disconnect in the middle of a show. Family members travelling with us (in a different room) also had the same issue

The hot tub was fantastic for the kids. Location was central and close to lots of eateries and restaurants. The loft apartment style was great for us with young kids and very warm. Staff are pleasant and helpful

Beds were hard and there could’ve been a mirror upstairs. Only one coffee bag provided which was annoying given 2 adults were staying.

Friendly and helpful staffs, provide information and good communication even before arrival. If have rented a car, the location is quite ideal, 3km to town/lake and 7km to the airport. Their house keeping is top notch, cleanliness usually is our top priority and they can provide a standard that we have no complaint of. Love the spa pool, can do the spa at your leisure time. For animal lover, there is a cute and friendly feline mascot there you would want to say hello to :) We will stay again if we drop by to Rotorua

Just make sure to lock the doors and windows before going to bed, although the staffs will do a security check before they retire to bed but a reminder that this is a family run motel not a hotel with 24 hours full security guards

We really enjoyed this accommodation & loved the story behind the family that turned a run down hotel into what you see today (due to retrenchment) all the while nursing a child with an illness. You can read about them in a book located in the apartment. We were warmly welcomed & delighted with the amenities. Excellent location, only 15-25 minutes from all major tourist attractions with free car parking. Highly recommend. Travelled with 3 adults & 3 teenage children.
