Lots of space. Large kitchen with appliances, spacious lounge area, good sized bedrooms and bathroom. Located just off the main road, with a couple of minutes drive to town. Supermarkets were very close.

Although the kitchen had great appliances (large fridge, microwave, full oven and dishwasher), there were very few utensils (just a non-slotted turner, a soup ladle, and a knife block...not even tongs) and although there was a dishwasher there were no tablets (just dishwashing detergent sachets, which would probably foam up the whole apartment if used in the dishwasher). The oven had wire shelves, but no solid rack to cook on - we had to buy foil from the supermarket to be able to cook anything. We deliberately booked accomodation with a kitchen to save money preparing our own meals, and we were very limited with what we were able to prepare.

The room was exactly the same as in the online booking photo, loved the spacious and luxurious bathroom, everything in the room, kitchen areas were nice and clean, much better than I expected, plates and cutlery, microwave and water kettle looks very new and safe to use, comedy shows (only one channel) available on TV to get some sound on and lightings working well and bright, extremely comfy bed, enjoyable stay for sure!

The only downside was that the wifi is not too stable, not all areas are covered so I always get disconnected. The entrance was paired with a massive window panel and a wide open window, felt like someone can easily climb inside if not attended and the front door is locked by a simple (Number 8?) door knob so I didn't feel too secure especially during the night time. But overall, it was a really pleasant stay for my first solo birthday trip in Rotorua. Would love to come back next time :)

A spacious studio with good sized kitchen facilitirs, great sized television and separate bathroom. Modern, clean and characterful.

Could have done with a sofa or armchairs for watching tv or reading. Lying on the bed was the only way to sit down which wasn't as comfortable as a sofa would have been. Also, although there was a table and barstools to sit down for eating, it was a little too dark in that part of the room.to read the paper at the table, so some brighter general lighting would have been ideal.

We stayed in Pure Motel and Guest House the whole week at February 2023. It is very convenient and quiet place. Its staff is very helpful, especially Wensi Gao, who helped us a lot: gave umbrella when was strong rain, lent a voltage adapter to charge our computers, gave very usefull answers on all questions, ordered piza and taxi and solved many others our problems which were unpredictably appeared. The advantage of this place is very responsive staff.

Our room was in its own little hut that is basically a large circular room. The bed was great with 4 good pillows. It was spacious and very cute inside! It felt very private and quiet even though it was right off of the main street. The bed was excellent, the building is older but most of the room has been updated and well maintained. They had coffee, tea and drinking chocolate for us and a kitchenette. The bathroom was also spacious with both a shower and jet tub!! This was one of the best accommodations that we had while in New Zealand (ESPECIALLY for the price!)

It was exceptionally clean and tidy all the necessary things were in the cupboards. The beds were comfy and it was an ideal location as things were nearby . customer service was very friendly and very helpful and was very kind to keep all rooms and beds warm before our arrival . Would highly recommend the place specially for a family .

We were the first guests in a newly renovated guesthouse. All was clean and presentable. The bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed the sweet, quaint and spacious hut. People are friendly, and helpful. It is slightly away from the initial town, (20m walk from central InterCity bus station. If you like to walk, it is nice to get your steps and kilometers in. It's about a 10-12$ taxi fare if you don't like or want to walk

No soap for the body or hair. Something for them to look into a little better. They are still undergoing renovations to other guesthouses which did not bother us; however, a bit more privacy with curtain sheers would help when blackout curtains are open.

I had a fabulous stay! The room was newly renovated with new carpets, furniture and bathroom fixtures. I enjoyed relaxing in the spa bath and sleeping in the king sized bed. But what really made my stay special were the staff. They provided excellent recommendations for things to do and even gave me a gift after I mentioned it was my birthday.

The parking in front of the rooms can be a little tricky with a larger vehicle. However there are also parking bays at the front of reception that are easier to navigate.

- very spacious room - very well furnished - Bus stop not far down the road - kitchen had enough cutlery for 2, it had all the basics (a pot, a pan, a cutting board, some kitchen knives...) for cooking your own meal

- stove top was rusty - pans and pots were slightly dirty when I arrived, the bottom of the pan was not flat at all when warm, the non-stick coating of the pot was very scratched

Surprisingly excellent stay. The name of the hotel and good price made me think it was too good to be true, but the room was exactly as described and pictured. Very comfortable, clean and spacious. Nice spa bath as a bonus. Older motel but very nice. Cute little NZ made chocolate bar received on check out.

Car parking was a little tricky.. steep driveway and tricky to turn around, but we had a small rental. Shower pressure was ok but not great, probably to conserve water, as the bath would use alot.
