We loved the heated pool, good size and clean. The staff were great and polite especially the night shift crew.

Rooms are a bit tired already, we didn't realise that the room we booked only had 1 ceiling fan, so It was a bit warm at night. However, staff were quick to provide a desk fan which helped a lot. Carpet corners a bit dusty as vacuums don't seem to reach them, some old candy wrappers under the bed. There are also no place to hang wet clothes in the bathroom. Breakfast buffet was a bit limited in choices compared to similarly priced hotels in the area.

The breakfast was phenomenal, the staff always friendly and our room was great for us two adults and 2 kiddies. The pool was a hit with our kids especially because they are heated, we went at night and in the morning! We love staying here and it’s always our first pick when we visit Rotorua!

Perhaps some dehumidifiers in the rooms during winter. The air con didn’t seem to draw out the moisture in the room but not a biggy!

Swimming pool is really good temperature and the hot tub outside is really hot. Kids liked. Room size, restaurant and breakfast are positive. There is a laundry that’s super helpful for families. Car park free.

Outdoor pool, great breakfast, comfortable beds. Was a bit skeptical after reading mixed reviews, but we had no complaints about our stay. Deluxe suites are the refurbished ones with air conditioning, and I would highly recommend booking those. Otherwise, the hotel is generally a bit outdated.

The staff didn’t seem to be enforcing mask wearing inside the hotel. Some of the front desk staff weren’t wearing masks properly either. Of the 4 couples (and large sports team) checking in at the same time, only we were masked up. we chose not to eat any meals at the hotel because of this. Our room appeared to not have been vacuumed in-between the beds , also a lot of stains on the carpet (in between the beds). 3 light bulbs needed replacement on arrival to give sufficient lighting in the room, which a Porter came and rectified quickly when asked. locking the gate to the bike storage during the day/evening would be preferable for bike security too.

Outdoor pool and spa was awesome. My husband and daughters loved the cold/warm pool I loved the spa lovely and hot on a cold afternoon and early morning swim. Our family loved the breakfast that was included with the room

The grotto was not so inviting some of the spas weren't working and it wasn't hot. The sauna didn't seem to be working either.

Upon arrival the hotel entrance interior looked and felt warm and inviting. Reception staff were professional courteous and helpful. Our room was clean and everything we expected.

Lights in main living/bedroom area are wall fixed mounted. To dim, thereby making it to dark to see interior of our bags clearly during the day and evening. We had to move our baggage under the lights to see better when unpacking etc. Positive feedback would be to have a bright ceiling light for when needed or a control switch to turn up lighting. Overall a wonderful experience.

I love that they had outdoor heated pools and the private groto spa, they were the best features they had inside, parking was a breeze and lockup at a certain time made me feel safe. Having 24/7 reception was helpful if u had any issues at any times of a night, when u dial reception then someone always answers. Our room was well equipped with 2 big beds and bathroom and toilet together 😍

I didn't like the gym, it was only 3 machines in there and I wanted more to work on but wasn't motivated . The walk from the car park to the rooms was irritating cause u had to walk around from reception. Only wish I had a room to cook food if I could lol

The pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was okay. The Mr yokitori restaurant was delish.

I ask to checkout late at 10:30 and I got a knock on the door at 10am for checkout. Room 108. I thought they would replenish the sheets with new sheets instead they were reused again.
