Location & convenience for last minute (24 hr) booking

Couldn't fins step to get down from caroark to reception in the rain ... car bonnets so big overhanging pathway

Clean, good facilities, easy parking, good central location. Brilliant natural shower products in large push containers. Dishwasher, dryer, microwave, fridge freezer A++.

Everything was good and I'd stay again because it's the best accommodation for this price range in Taupo. I haven't liked any of the other competitor motels for the same price, in the same area which are all much worse. I'd love it if the Quest had small windows you could open in the rooms to let in fresh air. The only things to point out in this visit was the body wash ran out and there was one dirty plate in the cupboard. Everything else was perfect. I'd happily stay again though. I like it here.

The room was a cozy studio - comfy and spacious; filled with everything that you could possibly need - cooking facilites, private bathroom and laundry facilities (washing machine, drying machine) and a large, soft bed. Contactless check-in was super easy and being able to check-in was a bonus as we had to travel here after work. ALSO THE VIEW FROM THE ROOM WAS AMAZING - it overlooks Lake Taupo and I could see Mt Ruapehu from my window!

Loved the whole stay. Was sad to leave in the morning. Will definitely be coming back, and hopefully staying for longer!

Clean, spacious, well equipped room. The kitchenette worked great for tending to meals. It was a nice convenience to have a washer and dryer in the room. It was in a great location. Walkable to the lake, restaurants and stores. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The clothes dryer was a little loud.

Great room with plenty of space and all the basics to whip up dinner and breakfast. Loved the bonus laundry in the bathroom. Easy stroll to the lake and shopping areas

The hallways and access area were unclean and no staff on site

The room we stayed was very spacious (bedroom + bathroom) with a very good kitchen if we wanted to use, also the bed was very comfy!

We paid a reasonable price for this room and did not have any good view, but to be fair there wasn't anything saying about good views when we booked it.

Very clean and tidy ... beds were comfortable, nice linen, it had everything one would need for a short stay. Location is perfect as walking distance to town. Lots of parking as well. After hours check was seamless. Staff were very friendly.

The room rate was exorbitant due to the end of school holidays and because we paid such a high rate, our expectations were much higher than would be expected. We couldn't open any windows for fresh air and no balconies which we missed. It was a comfortable stay and all we needed for the weekend.

Basically, everything - from check-in to check-out. The room was exactly as advertized - and quiet given the double-glazing. Likewise, there was very little "other rooms' noise - excellent soundproofing. In short, for the price - the standard of room, air conditioning, corridors, and the fabric of the building itself were of a very high quality indeed. The private parking so close to the entrance was also a real bonus.

There was nothing we didn't like at the Quest given what the Quest offers/advertizes - and all at an exceedingly good value for money. This is an exceptional apartment hotel.

Clean Kitchen Spacious bathroom

A great stay over the weekend. I checked in on late Saturday the fantastic staff took care of the box key, to check out Monday. There was only 1 towel for the 3 days. Can people checking in on Saturday get 2 towels each.

Clean and well located accommodation. Great onsite parking and close enough to walk to Taupo centre. Comfy bed and a the room we stayed in was very spacious with large bathroom. A great place over all and I would stay again when next in Taupo.

Check in and out are a little strange at present with reduced hours but are manageable. TV was rather small considering the room size and how far away it was form the bed. No flat surface in the bathroom to put anything, loads of space in there but no table or shelves to put anything on was a little strange.
