This motel was one of the nicest I have stayed in over years of staying in motels all around nz. The location …so convenient just a 2 minute walk to wanaka village. Motel staff very friendly efficient and helpful. The unit ..spacious well appointed with everything supplied of good quality clean and very safe area. As a senior person i rate this motel very highly would stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

PERFECT! I have to say that Clearbrook is the best stay amongst the 7 other motels i had stayed in during my 15 days of travelling in South Island. We had 4 adults and 1 infant, and we were given the duplex apartment. The apartment came with an ensuite washer, dryer, and even a dishwasher! The entire apartment was well maintained and super clean. The location is also incredible, just a short 2mins walk to the town shopping area. We had an incredible stay. Will highly recommend!

A fabulous motel! This was our fourth visit & we've had the same unit for the last 3 times! The setting is lovely with the brook running through the grounds. It's in a quiet location yet less than 5 minutes walk to the New World Supermarket & the wonderful Cinema Paradiso. A must for any visit to Wanaka! The town & waterfront are just another few minutes walk. It's our favourite motel in NZ & we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Wanaka!

The only thing missing is a swimming pool but that has never put us off! There is a public swimming pool in the town anyway.

This was the best accommodation we had on our recent holiday. Exceeded all expectations. The brand new kitchen wanted for nothing. The bathroom included the laundry facilities but was so roomy it was enjoyable to see so many good things in the one room. It was the only shower I had encountered in our travels that didn't have black mould growing on the base. This was in part due to the shower being over the bath, but the bath was easy to step into if you don't have any mobility issues. Walking to the shops and shoreline was as simple as crossing the road. It was better than the alleged four and five star hotels we stayed in on the same trip. Real value for money. Would stay there again, any time.

This was a lovely apartment with a wonderful deck overlooking a babbling brook outside. We also had an amazing mountain view! The room was very spacious with a nice kitchenette, comfortable bed and great bathroom. Parking was very convenient just below our room. The location is within walking distance of all the downtown shops and restaurants as well as the lakefront. Wish we could have stayed here more than just 2 nights!

The location was perfect for us. Very close to the main town centre so we could walk easily and quickly to the shops and cafes and restaurants. The room included a well equiped kitchen area and a separate living & dining room area so was very spacious and comfortable for x2 persons and very quiet. Included was a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom area so that was useful to have access to. There was a separate secure drying room area for ski gear provided too The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Very close proximity to the restaurants for breakfast. A supermarket located within walking distance to stock supplies. 3 beds on the 2nd floor and 1 double bed on the 1st floor. A fully equipped kitchen with dining area. Clean rooms and comfy beds.

Maybe a little warm on the 2nd floor but it was managed by opening the windows and switching on the fan.

The location was great, a one block walk into town. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Check in and check out was very easy. The grounds were lovely and very well kept. A carpark was provided.

Only comment and not really a negative but was the bathroom was a bit institutional. However it was very clean and perfectly acceptable.

Location was good to stay. Every shops are near at motel so nice to buy, eat, and enjoy.

Room is cold on July. Even heater is always On, and bathroom also cold. Bathroom heater have own timer, so not possible to operate during shower time. Too short time electric heater worked, so bathroom is need to improve.

Fantastic! Perfect for a family of (x3) The room set up was great - and you even had access to front grassed area with the stream & there is a BBQ should you choose to cook Washing machine & dryer in room to - a bonus when travelling with a family! And lovely & accomodating staff

My only slight negative (and I’m being picky) was no milk in the fridge for coffee and no bubble bath (the room had a spa bath) They nothing major - but just a small extra touch
