Breakfast was nice. Courtyard where you eat is lovely. The whole space is green and tasteful with nice architecture. Very private feel at the time. I had two rooms and liked the upstairs one more for better light.

The windows aren't large so the downstairs room was a bit dark (but upstairs was better). There was a festival nearby and the music was so loud it was impossible to sleep before 1am. The staff closed the front door 11am when I asked, but it was still super loud. Not the hotel's fault, but something to be aware of.

Everything about this place is wonderful! We loved our room, we were upgraded to a room on the upper floors and it was just gorgeous. The pool is very refreshing after a day exploring the city. The location of this hotel is right in the heart of all the great spots - around the corner from the chocolate museum, the garden cafe, the cathedral, the convent. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and sweeter. Breakfast was yummy. It feels like a true boutique stay whilst still keeping their prices reasonable.

Had a very comfy boutique atmosphere, and the staff promoted it well. The rooms were super cute and roomy, bathrooms large and well-appointed. hot water and an expansive shower. were cherries on the cake. Very nice restaurant downstairs with great tapas and happy hour specials. Met one of the owners, Terry who was very knowledgeable about the area and welcoming to both her property and Granada. I was originally planning on staying only 2 days and I extended it to 5, to give you an idea how much relished stay here. Already planning my next trip to Granada and plan on staying at Casa San Francisco again. Did I mention the super cute pool area and ivy-covered walls, mosaic tiles, and a cooked to order breakfast every morning; what a "Gem".

not a negative to speak of, looking forward to my return.

The most adorable hotel in Grenada! Terry and the staff are so pleasant and wonderful you feel like you are at home and not a tourist. They building itself is 2 old homes and it feels like you are strolling back in time as you wander the 2 little courtyards and discover the various balconies. The rooms are unique and have AC! Free breakfast is amazing quality and so fresh. The on-site restaurant has a quality menu as well. The little pool is super refreshing and well stocked with towels. We will for sure stay again!

Hotel overall is beautiful, the decor reflects the period it was built. The room was nice but a bit small. Hot water in the shower was wonderful! Although slow to cool the room, the air conditioner did maintain a comfortable temperature through the night. I loved that the bathroom had a ceiling fan!

The plug in the bathroom didn’t even work for the hotel’s hair dryer. I’m not sure what it was designed to use. There was a card right by the sink saying it provided regular 110 but there was nothing to use in it! Both the sink and the shower were supplied with soap and shampoo from a multi-use dispenser which I despise…I want to open my own when away from home.

Loved the place, but Giovanni and his tours were the highlight of our time there, I can't recommend him enough. Stared with a perfect tour of Grenada mixed with interesting history and humor, then did the isles later that day with amazing scenery and Gio pointing out wildlife and local knowledge of the lake. Next day we saw a little ceramic demo at a local family home, spent the afternoon at Apoyo Lake, ended the day with a sunset on Masaya volcano. This was all thanks to Giovanni, he planned it all, knows exactly what to do and when to do it, very affordable and worth every penny. Thank you so much. To top it all, the hotel is charming and unique, we loved the tapas and staff at the little cafe and talking about our day over a nica libre or two, and Lecia at the front desk was a ray of sunshine. Thank you!

Having to leave!

The location is great. Close to the center, but quieter and away from the main bars and restaurants. All of the nearby restaurants were fantastic and the museum across the street was great. Pool was quiet and well maintained and perfect for cooling off. Would love to stay again!

We definitely needed to ask for additional pillows and light was shining in high windows in our room all night. The front desk was not always very knowledgeable about activities around the area but were very pleasant. However, those weren't enough to stop us from wanting to visit again!

We had the most beautiful room (#1) I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful wood windows, balcony and tiled shower open to the outside! Not all the room are this nice so ask for 1! The vegetation around the hotel and the building were also beautiful! Terri the owner and the rest of the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast, complete with homemade yogurt! Loved this Hotel and great for the price!!

Nothing we didn’t like!

It was a beautiful hotel built in a colonial house, and had a restaurant and bar on site that was excellent. there was a pool, and our room was clean and cutely decorated. our free breakfast was wonderful and the owner even introduced herself and gave us free yogurt. The staff was also the friendliest and most helpful staff we had during our stay at different hotels in Nicaragua. they even helped arrange a private transfer to the airport early in the morning.

The only thing that detracted from our stay was the amount of mosquitos in our room. We think they got in while staff was cleaning and left the door open. we got bit a lot during the nighttime, but it was just one night of our stay.

Location was excellent, staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly. The staff also had great English and offered great recommendations for our stay. Hotel itself is beautifully decorated and located very central, with short walk to best restaurants and attractions. The room was clean, spacious and luxurious. No complaints at all.
