When I arrived into Bergen airport, I wanted to quickly get checked into a hotel, since the flight arrived late. Scandic Flesland was ideally located, since it was a very short walk to the hotel. The reception staff were helpful in giving me information on how to get to Bergen. I liked that I had access to the rooftop. I was able to take a few photos of the area. Since it was close to the longest day of the year at a very northern latitude, it was still quite bright close to midnight, almost an hour after sunset. I liked that the curtains to the room blocked out the outside light to allow me to get to sleep. The breakfast was filling. I liked that the Scandic hotel is environmentally conscious. They were the first hotel to encourage guests to hang up towels if they don’t want them washed. They also try to discourage food waste. They encourage guests to make several trips to the buffet table, instead of loading your plate with too much food. Food waste is a major environmental issue, so it is good to see a hotel showing a small lead on this issue. There was a gym, although I didn’t have the opportunity to use it during a one night stay. I also liked that you could see arrival and departure information for Bergen airport at reception.

Just a short walk from Bergen Airport if the weather is good! Perfect location if you have a late arrival at Bergen Airport. I love this hotel because breakfast is awesome, with a great choice of fresh food including a lot of fish! Rooms are nice, bathrooms are spacious, beds very comfortable. Rooms are quiet even though right next to the airport! This was my third stay at Scandic Flesland.

Since Covid-19 Scandic Flesland does not offer airport-shuttle service anymore which is a shame. On the day I left the hotel, it was snowing so bad that I was not able to drag my suitcase through the snow to the airport, I had to order a taxi that cost me NOK 200. So next time I have to stay overnight at Bergen Airport in winter I will chose a hotel even closer to the airport.

The flight mode breakfast is a great advantage. Breakfast is served as early as 4am for those who have an early flight.

the scanning of the keycard to lock the doors. Its my first time to experience it. this was also not explained when we checked in so my husband and I were a bit confused why the room wont lock when we went out. then we tapped our keycards just to try and that locked it. there is nothing wrong with the feature, but would be good to explain it while checking in specially for tourist who are not used to this system. :) also I think the room is too crowded. its nice and cozy but would be good to take out few things since there is not enough room to move around anymore. just maybe a little adjustment on the set up of the room would be good.

Close proximity to airport, they also cater for early flights meaning your able to have breakfast from 4am which is brilliant. Comfortable, huge room, decent size gym, friendly helpful staff, including the room cleaning staff, the breakfast was immense. I was very impressed with the whole stay.

A little overpriced on water and chocolates by the reception also there was no still or sparkling water in the room, which in most hotels worldwide you will get,.

This very nice hotel got all essentials right. Proximity to the terminal is the foremost reason anyone stays at an airport hotel, and this one is a short convenient walk from the terminal, even with luggage. My room was large, airey and sensibly appointed: in addition to a comfortable bed there was a functional desk area as well as a sort of mini chaise longue. The bathroom had all the essentials, and in Scandinavian fashion, toiletries were in large, refillable containers rather than the eco-unfriendly tiny plastic pots--much appreciated. Plenty of plugs, including near the bed, were available. Breakfast was the fairly standard Scandinavian buffet, and the selection was reasonable (though the warm selections kept running low; staff appeared more interested in their phones, and in the hope of an early break, as signalled by handbags and cigarettes on the serving line). Brilliantly, though, breakfast service begins early. Although not critical for me on this trip, it's often important in an airport hotel (especially given the limited groundside amenities at BGO). Regrettably, the door locks require active locking with the plastic key card. While not uncommon in Norway, this practice takes travelers from other places by surprise (me included, this time; I was shocked to discover my door unlocked when returning from breakfast). While there's not much crime in Norway, there's enough to warrant automatically locking doors. . . or at least letting guests know, prominently. In all, a very comfortable stay, and one I'd be inclined to repeat.

The room was spacious and comfortable which was just what we needed after a late evening flight. We walked from the airport, so a very convenient location. Excellent, fresh breakfast in the morning. Difficult to fault anything really. The rail link in to Bergen Central was very convenient.

A signpost at the airport indicating the direction to this hotel would have been helpful as google maps took a while to get us going in the right direction!

Everything at the hotel went well.

It had nothing to do with the hotel. But from the airport the three cabs we approached would not transport us to Hotel. We both need assistance when traveling, especially my wife. We figured it was because the hotel was so close, the cab fare was not enough money for them to lose their place in line at the airport. What was a 7 to 10 minute walk to the hotel, for us, it was 25-30 minutes. Thank God it was not raining either to get to the hotel or to walk back to the airport.

Modern decoration style of the hotel has a cool nordic feel to it. Walking distance to Bergen airport, even with a small child it took under 10 min. Although our plane was late and arrived after midnight local time, we had no trouble checking in at 40 min past midnight. Excellent breakfast is served from 4 am.

The odd numbered rooms were on the left hand side on the way from the elevator; however, the even numbered rooms started a bit later after a bend. A bit of patience was required to find our even numbered room.

The location is just perfect across the main highway from the Bergen airport. Could comfortably walk down with my luggage. The rooms are comforting enough with all essential facilities provided at the reasonable tariff. The stay has been real pleasant. Notable was the breakfast spread that allowed a healthy start of the day.

Nothing specific to mention as didn't find anything on the downside. Just the fact that it would be appreciated if bottled water is provided complementary ( atleast one) a day being a bsic essential to everyone.

Perfect hotel couple of min walk from the airport - all was as we expected. Modern, exceptionally designed, comfortable, well described on booking.com. Superb breakfast - almost anything you want.

Just one towel in the room - had to go and ask for 2 persons. No water, empty fridge. Please add seasonal fruits for a breakfast. Small things which could be easily changed:) All the rest was fine - we had a relaxing time before traveling further. Thanks - we will use this hotel next time as well.
