Good location, comfortable room, excellent breakfast, very clean, friendly staff.

We could have used a few hooks or racks to hang our towels, while the bathroom is very functional and the shower is spacious, the bathroom area of the basic double room is very small. The breakfast is excellent, with a lot of choices, but was very crowded at moments and with limited seating. We were able to adjust our timing on subsequent mornings and found ample room. The hotel tries to manipulate the flow, but I think it’s inevitable that there will be some times that are more crowded than others. We found that even 15 minutes could make a big difference in the number of people.

Staff was very friendly, everything in this hotel was optimized. Bed were very comfortable. Still amazed by the breakfast. We went to a lot of hotel with a vaste choice of breakfast but this one left me speechless. Also very nicely displayed so you dont get "striked" by the choices. Restaurant had good food and we loved the ambiance with the pleasant music and fireplace and big windows. Definitely would choose this hotel again

Somehow missed a hairdryer but maybe didnt searched long enough. The mirrors and some glass surfaces where the wine and glasses were dusty. The room was otherwise perfectly clean so this was a bit pity.

We were given a room with a small balcony - which we got to use in the unbelievably sunny weather. Cool décor throughout the hotel. Room and public spaces very well kept. Breakfast had a really good selection. Reception staff very friendly and helpful (saw then stepping in to help clear breakfast places to avoid anyone waiting). Great location with a lot of good restaurants within 5-10mins on foot. Easy access to the Light rail (L1 airport or L2 gondola - used 1 day pass) as well as to the waterfront, Bryggen and the funicular.

Room was small - hard to find space for cases and very compact bathroom. Not a big issue for us.

The breakfast was definitely the highlight of the hotel! The decorations were very unique and we enjoyed them. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were a bit thin. The location of the hotel is amazing and central to everything. Easy check-in/check-out and the staff was very friendly. The bathroom was very modern and had great appliances.

It was very warm in the rooms and it made it very difficult for me to sleep. They did offer us a fan at least. Also, the pillows were super thin and uncomfortable as well. Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel for people to stay at!

The location of the hotel is great, easy walking for everything we wanted to see in Bergen. The staff were all freindly and helpful even though they were extremely busy in all areas. Our room was a bit too quirky for us, mainly the bathroom, toilet area, just not practical for total comfort. The bed was really comfortable though and we slept well which is important. The breakfast we really enjoyed and the restaurant was pleasant and served good food. This hotel is suitable for a short stay in Bergen.

Bathroom area

The location was very close to the main tourist area. Very easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The breakfast was decent but the coffee wasn't great. They had a good machine that could make espressos, cappuccinos, etc. but only accessible by the bartender and it appeared you needed to pay extra for anything other than regular coffee.

The coffee options included with breakfast could have been better. Breakfast itself was decent but not a lot of options, especially for vegetarians. It would be great to see some vegetarian sausage or similar.

The breakfasts were really good, with a fair selection of different options. The hotel is in a great location - the street with the park outside is lovely. The location is good, within easy walking access to all of the locations that we wished to visit. It is also close to the main railway station. Member of staff were helpful & friendly.

One member of our group did not appreciate some of the art work in the hotel that is a risqué. However, we understand the Ole Bull inspiration...

The location of the hotel was just perfect! In the heart of the city and still relatively quiet. The breakfast was amazing! The staff was responsive and helpful. Having a restaurant in the hotel was also quite helpful. The room was clean and well equipped and the bed comfortable.

The room was a bit too small for 2 people and there was almost no storage space. Luckily, we did not spend too much time in the room, because of the nice weather. But had it been raining, it would be a bit too claustrophobic :)

Excellent location, close to center, many restaurants around. Peculiar decoration, you will probably remember the hotel. Convenient room. Small bathroom with excellent shower. Nice staff in reception and restaurant. Good breakfast with plenty of choices.

Reception inside restaurant, not very convenient. Very soft bed where large persons sink, not very comfortable. No reserved place to stop in front of hotel, you might get fined while loading/unloading car. Public parking, 5 minute walk.

There is something very special about this hotel. Sure, it has a great location, friendly staff members, an excellent breakfast and cozy room, but there's more. I'm not sure how to describe it but the place feels good, it has a vibe, its just welcoming. We loved it.

It took us 2 days to realize there was a closet in the room. We thought there was not one but then we finally found it in the corner beside the fridge. It was tiny and didn't look like a door.
