BREAKFAST, LOADS TO CHOOSE FROM, GREAT PLACE TO EAT AT,MAIN BREAKFAST IS SERVED IN THE MAIN HOTEL ,SO WE HAD TO CROSS THE ROAD TO GET IT AS WE WERE SLEEPING IN THE OTHER HOTEL ACROSS THE ROAD WHICH WAS STILL THE BERGEN CITY HOTEL AS THEY HAVE 2 HOTEL BUILDINGS NEXT TO EACH OUTHER. ROOM ,NO PLUG IN THE BATHROOM SINK, THE SHOWER ROSE FITTING WAS BROKEN,SO THE NEXT DAY WE INFORMED THE RECEPTION AND BY THE TIME WE CAME BACK IN THE EVENING IT WAS RENEWED ,BRILLIANT, LOCATION,WAS GOOD AS YOU ARE ON THE CORNER OF BERGEN SO IT WAS ONLY MINUTES WALK AND YOU ARE IN THE CENTRE.

WE HAD A CAR ,SO HAD TO PARK IT A GOOD DISTANCE FROM THE HOTEL IN A PARKING GARAGE WHICH ANYBODY COULD USE,WE STAYED IN BERGEN FOR 3NIGHTS SO THAT PUT UP THE PRICE TO PARK THE CAR FOR THEM NIGHTS,ALTHOURGH THE HOTEL DID ALOW US TO REGISTER THE CAR WITH THAT PARKING GARAGE AND GOT US A SMALL DISCOUNT.

This is a very convenient hotel that is centrally located in Bergen. The hotel offers spacious rooms and quiet ambience for excellent relax. The breakfast is fabulous.

I was really positively surprised by the hotel. The rather low 7.3 score I saw on booking definitely underestimates this convenient hotel. Indeed, the hotel rooms and facilities are a bit dated and there is a bit unpleasant smell in the corridors of the building in which I my room was situated. Nevertheless, the hotel is quiet, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are big and the breakfast is great.

The location was great for me because I was traveling on the Hurtigruten after checkout and the boat port was within walking distance of this hotel. The view from my window was a plus because I could see the top of Mt Floyen. I wanted to visit the top of Mt Floyen during my stay and wanted to ensure the weather was good at the top before leaving the hotel. The hotel lounge is a comfortable area to relax.

I am not a fan of crowded breakfast rooms, not really the hotel's fault. The plus of that is they ensure the food selection is varied and plentiful.

The location was perfect for visiting the city. As with all scandic hotels the breakfast was perfect and lots to choose from. Our room was in the older building but it was very big and quiet.

The hotel is split between a few buildings. We were in the older building across from the main reception. The common areas of this building seem to be a little neglected as the coffee area wasn't being cleaned or refilled often enough.

It was conveniently located, and the staff were phenomenal. We were sending our luggage ahead to a different hotel, and the front desk team were extremely helpful when it was picked up in the early morning.

The room felt like it could do with an update, nothing major it just felt a bit worn out - however our last hotel was a newer scandic hotel so I might just have high expectations as I don’t have anything else to compare it to.

Breakfast was good, as vegans we had a limited choice but were pleasantly surprised to have dairy free milk and vegan spread on offer. Location was good, fairly central and an easy walk to the main attractions. Parking was easy in a large underground carpark a few minutes walk away. We arrived on Constitution day so Bergen was heaving and the hotel was busy but we didn't experience any noise and had the best nights sleep in the comfy beds!

Excellent breakfast I have an early morning train and staff packed me a breakfast of ham and cheese baguette, an orange and a small bottle of orange juice. Though the orange is found not that good later, they are helpful

Very noisy, probably because it us located next to the street. The car and motorcycle are noisy that affect a lot the quality of sleep.

The location was great, staff super friendly & helpful, and the rooms were nice and very clean. Overall I would recommend.

If you’re on the road, it’s loud with the windows open. With the windows closed, it gets really warm in the rooms, so I’d recommend getting a fan from the front desk. The gym is convenient, but pretty small. Breakfast was good, but super cramped & chaotic if you go between 9-10. They tell you that ahead of time though, so I’d recommend going early if you can. The shower wasn’t great - the shower head didn’t work well, and it was a tiny space compared to the size of the rest of the bathroom, but again, that’s a minor thing.

The hotel was really well equipped and neat. Facilities are new and the toilet even had floor heating, which is a nice touch.

I booked this place because of the parking icon that was there. Turns out that the parking they offer (with a discount and not for free) is pretty far away for poring rain conditions and having to carry your baggage. There is a parking garage right next to the hotel, but for some reason we weren't pointed to that one. We parked in the street (it was weekend and free of charge), but the next morning we had to move the car to the garage.

Standard room with king size bed, fridge, table and chair. Also with TV and small armchair. Bathroom equipped with shower, towels and hairdryer. All furniture seemed new. Breakfast was great with a lot of possibilities. Hotel is almost in the city center, to Brygge harbor it is 5-10 mins.

The bathroom in our room (412B) should really be redesigned. There was no place where we could place our hygienic supplies. The shower door did not shut completely, there was quite big space between the door so we had to be careful how we shower so we do not flood the bathroom with water.
